PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

Started a CL with BVB.
I really like the game, played around 5 matches.

Becoming better and better in manual passing.
Scored a nice goal with Aubameyang after a double pass with Reus on manual.
I saved it...time to upload some vids as well.

Can´t wait for my working day to finish and keep on gaming.

Does anyone know how it is with the ML on PS4?
If I start one now and apply an OF later, will I be able to continue it?

Or what if I install on OF and after that I wanna use a different one?
Will I have to delete the first one before that and if yes, how is that done on the PS4?

Managed to get three games in last night and i am terrible haha. Lost 1 and drew 2 on professional.

Struggling to create clear cut chances with manual passing. I think a lot is getting used to the game again after a couple of years with fifa but damn I'm struggling.

regarding the "OF" by pesuniverse i wonder why people pay for it, when there is a huge community, that shares the Team exports, kits etc.? By today you can grab all european club team exports and maybe the Bundesliga. This time the whole game will be licensed in a short period of time. And in the end it is not a complete OF and you will have to edit things by yourself anyway

Ok, i still haven't received my PS4 version yet but i brought the PC version

I've made Man City Pep Guardiola's new system, works well, although what holds this game back from being really, top quality is an issue matt10 spoke about, AI is too placid at times and loves to stand off too much.

Apart from this, impressed with what i have seen. I did Arsenals strategy, although we are funny really since we dont really have a proper system but the formation i did which is similar to what we used against PSG and in PES 2017 worked well, due to us having high rated players on the game, because our system is silly :LOL:

To get the AI to attack more, its not too hard, in fluid formation a bit like last year but for teams like City, Barca, Leverkusen and Liverpool who play an attack orientated pressing game (Not barca so much but essentially to make teams more aggressive) The key is to keep your wide players designated as Wing forwards rather than Wide Midfielders.
 
Played more of my Middlesbrough Master League games last night and got my first win, against Everton. Managed to score a goal (it was a Downing backheel while the keeper was lying on the floor, very cheeky), and then the commentator said: "Downing [massive pause because the commentary isn't great] is being man-marked now, he's definitely the danger-man".

At this point I was playing possession football and desperately trying not to concede, but when I looked for him further up the field, there he was, with Darron Gibson chasing him around.

Seeing/hearing that, along with the adaptive AI pinning back their wing-backs in my favourite positions to exploit... It was a real watershed moment, for me. From (PES 2016) decent game underneath layers of frustration, to (PES 2017) potential being realised.

I had a few games with a friend later on in the evening, and after a 0-0 (Liverpool v Everton), he won 4-0 with Sunderland against my West Ham, by making Defoe the centre of what he did. I'd not seen any real thunderbolts before, but he hit one with Defoe that nearly took the net off. Like I said yesterday about the last goal from Bournemouth, it looked just right.

I can't get enough.

The online servers are up now so I'm going to play my first online matches tonight - this is where I get nervous (I'm not a big online guy, but for sales of the game - which means an even better PES next year - the lag needs to be fixed)...

Loving it so far and they have demo brought it back to a enjoyable game but my only gripe is the laziness of konami not introducing a better edit mode, some very minor changes but exactly the same as previous years. And give us more boots choices.
 
waiting for the first person to complete a season in ML to update whether the regenerated players are any different :) (ie. not as powerful at age 16)
 
Oh, speaking of star players, I forgot to say, I tried MyClub this morning.

Upon logging on, I had 5 "special agents", 20,000 credits, and a super-duper loan player. I've now got a team with an average level of 84.

Why bother with the illusion of "you're going to have to work your way up and win tons of games to progress your team and buy new players", when as soon as you click the fucking "myClub" button, you've got a super-squad?

When they do this, you're nearly at the end of your journey (taking a piss-poor team and making them into giants) as soon as you start playing. Does nobody want to earn anything any more?

I hate the mode anyway, but at least in FUT you can choose to restrict yourself to "bronze"-level cup games etc. instead of having to use (and play against) nothing but Ronaldo-level players again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.

Between this and the standard online modes where everybody picks Barca\Real, it holds no interest for me even if it isn't laggy-as-balls again this year.

Thank God for the Master League.
 
Has the Konami transfer update messed up any option files already done?

My concern is you do the transfer update, then add say the Bundesliga, and it all messes up, particuarly if Konami do a weekly update.

When I downloaded the live update file, it specifically said it affects transfers and loans. If the Bundesliga etc. is created by overwriting fake players, they're not going to be transferred in the update file, so, they should be fine, shouldn't they?

I was thinking it would only wreck something if real players are overwritten with entirely different players, and then the live update either moves them to a different squad (because they were someone else previously), or deletes them because they moved to a league that doesn't exist in the game.

I can't confirm it either way but I downloaded the live update myself this morning and all that I saw change was transfers (but I hadn't edited any players).
 
Guys, real quick question; is the Option File available to XBOne users too? I recall years ago the Option File was a real PS exclusive.
