Cristianos v2.5 is out.. includes some of Erzos work and a few other european teams.

Theres also a Hadjuk Split knocking about if anyone wants them in their game.

To be really really honest...
even I think - compared to last year - there is much more variety again, I felt the same thing.
But still, I enjoy it.
What I´m tired of seeing though is that volley long shot when you just tap the shoot button very little and the ball makes that high bow.
Seen it too much.

Other than that there are nice curves on shots and lobbed through balls....so I´m not really complaining.
At least the AI doesn´t do that low chot corner crap.
 
I'm really loving the advanced tactics. Hugging the touchline and wing rotation are my go-to options, though I also use tiki-taka when I can't get a grip on my passing game. I also try to leave a winger up the pitch to help hit teams on the break sometimes, not least because Counter Target seems to mean they save bucketloads of stamina. I do like to have overlapping fullbacks, but my myClub team doesn't have the right setup to make the most of it, and a lot of opponents use a 4-3-3 which would leave me stretched on the counter.

Has anybody had any joy with the false fullback setup? I've only given it a couple of goes and not really reaped the benefit. But I'm not 100% clear on the best times to use it, or how to capitalise on it in PES terms because I'm still getting used to playing with PA 0 online. Also because I'm playing myClub, I don't get to tweak tactics to fit the false fullbacks.

Also wondering which other advanced tactics it'd work together with - would it help clog any gaps in the middle when using Wing Rotation? Would it give better solidity if you're using Hug The Touchline? Or are you better off keeping the FB wide for both of those tactics, either to help begin the rotation sequence or as a passing option for the otherwise isolated winger?
 
OK some may have known this (or not, as ive found out) but if you import random teams on their own, there is a chance they overwrite a team you have already imported. For example, I found a Rangers bin online, it overwrites one of the Bundesliga teams in the Cristiano option file.
Not sure how to change it, but I assume as the team edited is the same, there is little I can do to stop it happening :(
 
These option files are great but some are all just thrown on a USB
Pesworlds are done league by league which makes them easier to import.
No idea why they are a little slow in releasing everything else as their first one came out day 1?

You can choose to select which teams get overwritten on the last screen before the import starts.

The annoying thing is that PESWorld's are all full quality, which means you run out of image space. I don't know if you can import teams without kits - I guess you just delete the images on the USB? - but right now it means I don't have Serie B or the Bundesliga at all.

I really don't get why PES needs limits like this. It can't be a memory issue - just save it to the hard drive and access extra images whenever you need them FFS. You only need 2 outfield kits + 2 gk kits on the pitch at a time (plus 2 home kits for fans to wear if both sides in away/3rd kits).

You have to tick both boxes when importing teams NOT in the game - and then it asks who you want to overwrite - and you can choose
If you don't it will overwrite the team you just imported.

That's why it would be good if file makers done a batch of teams league by league like PESWorld do.
Its hard sorting out who goes where theres 700 files on the stick all thrown on

In options i have a data pack and it says unimplemented. How to i sort this? If anyone knows can you let me know please?
 
Meant to be decorating, so my balls are on the block when the Mrs gets in. Been faffing around for best part of 3 hours now doing option files :D Just the Spanish 2nd Division to import and im as good as it gets I think (for now)
 
Any tips for scoring on Superstar?

I'm a glutton for punishment for starting ML with the defaults on Superstar but while I play fairly well possession-wise, I'm not scoring. The AI seems to stop everything or shots just miss the target.

Is anyone getting any joy in ML on this difficulty?

An absolute Chore.

Playing on Professional has made the game come to life a little for me, Still repetitive goals and sequences that destroy the immersion :S
 
can someone kindly please tell me how do i keep matt 5 tactics whilst applying the live update? every time its applied the tactics change

i did live update, installed glens of, turned live update off, did the tactical stuff, i'm good!
 
You guys are hilarious. You complain about how PES is so easy on Superstar but when it becomes challenging again on ML, you still complain it's too hard. It's supposed to be challenging, I don't want to be on top of the league all the time, where is the fun in that? At the beginning at was hard to score but as I go on, it becomes a tactical game, sometimes I play all out attack, just to score that goal which gets so intense.

If you're referring to me, I wasn't complaining, I as asking for tips. No need to be quite so dismissive of those who might not be quite so f***ing godlike at something as life-affecting as video games as you.
 
If you're conceding the same goals again and again, it's almost definitely because you're defending the same way again and again. I think I've seen 2, maybe 3 near post passes which have led to a goal for the CPU, and the CPU usually only attempts it if my defender is positioned for a deeper cross.

No need to be so defensive, I meant generally in this forum they complain about everything. But just to answer you, this wasn't directed at you, but to the guy that responded to you saying it was a chore (Shez) which I find funny because he once said it was too easy before trying ML. But then again take it as you like.

Seriously look at all the videos that little jumped up kids are posting on here, OHH THE BEST GAME OF MY LIFE and all the goals are identical, Far post 2-3 metres high and from inside the box. It's like a futsal game...

If they enjoy it it's fine, I don't. So no need to lie about what I said unless you can post a quote.

the same "far post 2-3 metres high and from inside the box" goals are seen a lot because people play with shot assistence OR they tend to press the shot button as long as they have become used to (over the years). noticed that when rewatching my own matches. sure the game isnt flawless, but it depends a lot on the player itself. people need to realize that the bar is not a power meter, its a height meter! i put the ball where i want it (at least try to) on full manual. bottom corner, bottom middle... and so on.
