PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

I just got my new PS4 slim and my pes17 copy 2 days ago, i have had it for so little time that i've only managed to complete the skills training and started the AFC CL (which i believe is the only competition with all the licenses).

I chose to be F.C. Tokyo and they are no world beaters for sure.
  • First game of the group stage and got demolished 4-0 by Guangzhou Evergrande (SP?), no complaints there. They were a lot better than me.
  • 2nd game i came from a 0-2 deficit to level the game against Melbourne Victory. I could have won since i had the momentum on my side but oh well, missed a couple of chances.
  • 3 & 4th game i played against a (weaker) Dubai side wich boosted my team's morale. Won 2 -0 & 1-0
  • 5th game against the chinese giants and i managed to get 3 points from scoring a penalty. great great game
  • 6th game (already qualified) we smashed Melbourne who were clearly pissed off & mentally destroyed. I was 4-0 by half time and they had a few yellows and a red by then. Finished 5-1
so we're into knockout stage and will face Lianing Whowin or something like that.
Mind this is in Top Player.

this game is all umpredicteble.
I like the shooting variations, the curve in the passing, the foul variations, the far-from lenient referee, the AI.

this is a beautiful game, the bes pes imo.

PS. after playing the entire group stage in a single go, i went to play an exhibition game:
Dortmund (CPU) vs Liverpool at signal Iduna.
:SHOCK::WOOT::...:RSCARF::EASY::DANCE::BLUSH:;)):DD:D:WORSHIP::SMUG::BOP:
No amount of emojis will recreate the feeling of the match atmosphere and the pace.

It was spectacular, the skilled players are (rightfully) worlds away from what i was using/facing at the AFC CL a couple of minutes ago. It's a whole new universe for me.
They beat me 2-1 but i couldn't be happier. My roomate even came to my room to see what was i all excited about and even enjoyed just watching the match .

Can't wait to start a ML with a D2 team (one with cool/editable kits)!

what a time to be single

This is so true. I can relate to this.
I have always played on the highest difficulty but with PES17 i just realized there is no rush, it rewards you for taking different approaches. I'm really in love with this game.

:BYE:
In signal iduna????

Something weird is happening and im not sure if its because ive a mix of OFs or not. But 3 teams constantly get changed, even if i dont edit them, by giving them a group of free agents to replace their existing players.... it was Monchengladbach, Hertha and Rostov... i re imported them fine, its moved on to Rangers, Hearts and Fenerbahce.

Even had a spell with Proffesional, which is a fantastic level if your team is a bit weaker, still gives a tough challenge
It's so cool that you get more fouls and freekicks drawn than FIFA 16,got surprised since I played both yesterday
Not comparing,just a reflection

Has anyone tried a master league yet or particularly one in France? I started one with Lyon and I am 8 games in and every single one has been at night
in eresivisie 90% of the games are in day time also dynamic weather strikes very often. they say that match times were fixed which in my case is true. ligue 1 games were mostly played per night as i know ;)

Yeah, I checked after posting and am the games are at late Kick offs. That's my time playing with French teams done then

Probably play the Dutch league or championship instead.

We normally agree on the games look regards a lot, but I think we have finally found a point of disagreement here.

While not perfect I am actually not finding night time matches a hindrance to my enjoyment that they once were. In fact I am enjoying playing each stadium at night... at the moment. Maybe they will start to piss me off eventually.

Now, if they only got the daytime lighting, the colour balance right. Weird thing is, I actually like how the kits and everything else reacts to the daytime light, but the big obvious dominant object on screen is the one thing that is problem. The bloody turf :(

Does anyone have experience of the offline 2-player gameplay? I've not seen much mention of it. If the single-player is so good I'm guessing the multi-player is decent too.

my Bayern team (faces) is in this file:

http://www.mediafire.com/download/8jxtjg4hj5jfehy/Bayern.bin

for some reason the team hasn't kit ... import the file on a generic team and copy these Bayern players to your Bayern by "base copy"

Ive been not playing ML lately. Im pretty bored about vs COM matchs and I will share my frustrations later.

But tonight I played 5 online matchs befor going to bed (right now) amd wow, matchs were all LAG FREE. What happened ? The last time I tried playing online was a nightmare, but tonight it was almost like I was playing offline, no joke.

And Holy God, my perfomance has a night and day difference playing with almost zero lag. I played 5 matchs on manual against assisted players and I won 4 of them, almost 100% win.

This game man, ohh man konami sure have nailed it this year, cant get enough of it and I haven't even started ML yet. So I decided to take Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup after applying all of the the national team kits and to see how the game plays with lower teams.

Got to the final against Burkina Faso and wow what a final of a game!!! :APPLAUD:
It was 2-1 for me after half time and the ai started pressing really hard in the last 15 mins looking for the that equalizer.
Butt clinching stuff as they were getting closer and closer, come to the 90th +5 min injury time and they send their keeper up for the last hoora and you wouldn't believe it but they ended up scoring an unbelievable overhead volley to equalize in the dying seconds of the game, my jaw was on the floor and i couldn't farkn believe it :CURSE:.

I could have won it also in the last kick of the game from a freekick but ended up hitting the wood work. After a stale mate in the the extra time, I took it out in the end on pens 4-3.

AI amazing goal in the 90+5min injury time...

Here are the full game highlights of the African Cup final...

Long range screamer of a goal in the semis against Cameroon...

Cursor switching is god awful, at least via Play Share. Almost makes it unplayable at times.
