PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

Adam was asked by someone on twitter if its possible to fix the grass/pitch colours and he said it wont be possible to patch

When you decide that there is no time until next week for PES, and then a day later find yourself staring at the download screen:

Most important questions about the final version of the game for me are 1. Has shooting been toned down/been made less accurate and more varied from the demo to the final game? 2. Same question with passing.

The shooting is probably the number 1 issue keeping me from buying this game - knowing that with most players, regardless of attributes, will be able to shoot on target and at least force a save. I'm hoping this has been toned down for the final version, would love to hear some thoughts on that!

Loads of variety here, misses galore... same with passes, the amount of times the AI has overhit their man is nice to see. They also mix it up, quick short stuff, some real direct balls. Its good fun, thats all I can say really, its alot of fun.

On the demo I can stand with the ball on my own half without the opposition trying to dispossess Me, hesitating back and forth like a retard. Is this present in the full game?

Thanks for the info - it doesn't surprise me.

I am reading that as ... "Konami won't or can't be bothered to do it" as opposed to "It is physically impossible for it to be done"

I'm sure leading developers like Rockstar and Naughty Dog would be able to alter the colour/intensity of some textures in their game with a patch.

Stuff like this has been done in other games, if anyone plays Black Ops 3, you may remember a patch that came out a few months back that totally altered the lighting and saturation of the map 'Hunted' the one set in the resort/spa.

So it can and has been done in other games, I'm just taking it as Konami either can't be bothered to find a solution or aren't skilled enough as developers to work out a solution.

Like I said in my earlier post - I was never holding my breath for a patch for it, hoping but never expecting is the best way to be with Konami.

Got my refund from pesuniverse for the USB. No forum activity, very little info coming out of Twitter and certainly not ready for release! I got a generic " we have full time jobs" reply but they have no idea how to keep people informed. The site forum has no moderation and is pretty much dead!

How did you get refund??

Seen this on twitter from glenn@pesworld...

Officially done with PES! Enjoy the game guys my hearts been literally ripped in two and will no longer be associated with the game.

Wonder if it's option file related

Ominous comment to make and doesn't look good for those who have purchased. I wonder if someone has been on their case about charging for an option file?

I simply replied to my order confirmation, requesting a refund. It was paid very quickly! Having thought about the lack of website support and the fact that it has no confirmed release date, has me wondering.

Don't get me wrong, the guys are super talented to make the kits, but they cannot have thought this through properly, given supply and demand. They should have asked for donations to run the site upon purchase and ran the site properly.

Looks a bit of a mess to me IMO.

I just sent them an email too for a refund. Thanks for letting us know about this.
