PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

Has anyone heard if there is any difference between digital and retail when it comes to adding kits, etc? I remember that PES 2015 on PS3 had different bles versions for Digital and retail. It was a pain, I couldn't get the best option files. I don't know if there has ever been such a thing for the PS4 versions.

Is the fluid formation option still in the game? I haven't seen it in the uploaded videos. I think the 'when in possession' and 'not in possession' are still in the game but without the 3x3 formations.

Thanks!

Well, lately on PES 2016 (on PC) I used a 2-3-3-2 and got 70 % + possession (Master League), I mean... it wasn't 'end to end side'. I hope this will be on PES 2017 :(. I really like positional play in this games.

No Shez everyone wouldnt be happy. I want a non arcady version on my console. Especially when i get people come round to play.

And why only pro clubs mode on pc??

Because if it takes KONAMI 4 years to fix fouls by adding a couple of scripted fouls each half and 3 years to Partially fix the goalkeepers but remove their ability to come off the line then it'd take 100 years to get you pro clubs lol

Have you got evidence for the AI fouls being 'scripted'?

It will definitely be in like it is on the demo. I love it and can't imagine not using it anymore.

I mean guys by the default tactics. Im sure you can tweak the tactics to have amazing games...but by default only some matches are having midfield play. I mean is how it is in reality too and not so boring tacticaly like old PES games i admit...i have mixed feeling towards it and the whole tactical system.

Oh well, I really love the tactical system PES has made. I have been playing FIFA since 13 and went to PES 2015 only by the tactical system, because it made the matches alive: every team kinda played differently. But KONAMI should be careful when the edit the default tactic of each team... Sampaoli uses 3 defenders; I hope not to see a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3.

No this whole midfield battle its only just my fetish. :D
Altough i know Italy eg would go all out defence always in reality too. I was even mad at the beginning that i controlled the play against them w Croatia but after 70 mins of trying and trying and conceding 2 counter goals i had to go for crosses only as their defence is so solid. And even then...Mandzukic vs Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli, De Rossi and these are only the big players...others there swarming their box as well + fucking Buffon. Who even saved and own goal attempt by Bonucci.

It was fun but i had to get used to it that even tho i might control the play and having most of the possession it doesnt might mean that IM IN CHARGE indeed.

PS watch out for the 77 rated Eder, he is lethal with his runs and dribbling and with serving Pellé.....

Played various old PES games this weekend and the DMF issue started in PES 14. It was a bit concerning though that PES 5/6 had the worst positioning. This is why it also felt more end to end and numbers were never truly behind the ball.

So, PES17 seems to have the same poor positioning of 14/15/16. The DMF stays right in front of the back line even in possession. People are talking about lack of a midfield play, well, this is why because the opposing MF has no lane to be concerned about, thus he's not in any position to really do anything. Take the lack of a proper transition from attack to defense and now the DMF sprints back and the MF sprints forward. They will meet only deep into the defensive third as a result.

This does not only happen with the DMF, but every position on the pitch. The same charge by the offense is reacted by a retreat from the defense. There was no meeting "in the middle" in PES 16, and it seems to be the case in 17. I believe it can be fixed though. Anyway, that's one of the reasons there is less midfield play.

nICE :)

But how does that work? We import a classic team over the "same team"?

I mean, I wanted classic Brazil, would I import Classic Brazil over Current Brazil? Through import / export.

You can import it over any team you want. Just change the . Bin numbers.

Also the US PES2017 pre order is already fully downloaded and installed. Roll on 6am Tuesday morning

it means you can copy over ANY team data, could save so much time adding new teams to the fake leagues

can somebody who has the full game please tell me how many fake leagues there are and how many teams in each?

last year there was the

PEU League ,2 PLA leagues and the PAS League

would really help me out cheers

Ok thanks :)

But there's an option to choose the team that we want to import the data to, right? We can also do that instead of chaging the .bin numbers?

I think it's the same as last year, but this year "Other european Teams" has more teams :)
