Yup Full Manual is a must to appreciate the potential of this iteration. Gotta report any issues though as we're getting closer to a very very good version.
 
Regarding PESMASTER stats, pratically every Euro/World Classics and also "Legends" of myclub have 60 in Body Control...
They introduce new stats but not fixing it for some players.
Every year is the same with their database... Always some fixes needed, like players in pes 2015/16 with 80 in Finishing/Curve/Ball Winning.

I don't really care about legends players since i don't play Myclub, but i'm gonna check about some new players if that's the case.

Has the passing been toned down so can you can see the speed variation between players
 
Watching these videos, it just seems like there is so much space for the forwards to receive the ball. Am I crazy?

well, i see assisted passing and it's killing med field play... end to end i see.
today i watched the liverpool game, and there was more med field play than anything else, short passes trying to break down defense.
i don't see many videos of people playing PES doing that, manual passing with a closer camera angle is the way to bring more med field play into your game.

I haven't even bothered watching any of the full release videos as it's all just laser passing, and shooting from 30 yards out. Impatiently waiting to get my hands on it.
 
After more games the games grown on me but there are some flaws in the game

One of my main gripes was the stumble animation in most tackles , I knocked the speed up to +1 and whilst they are still there they seemed less noticeable and although a little fast it certainly was more enjoyable

Fouls , I'm not going to mention these again..some people say they get loads every game ..in one game yesterday the AI seem to go a bit daft and I got 4 within a half on a 7 minute game ..then only one in the next 6 games combined ..sometimes it feels like the AI fouls because it's randomly programmed to rather than because how the games playing out on the pitch.

Midfield play seems none existent , most of my games are attack and defend , end to end..nothing to do with speed level

Shots and certainly over powered and I don't see individuality..certainly volleys and half volleys ..there must be 3 or 4 every game smashed from 30-40 yard nearly always on target ..usually after a corner ..keeper normally saves them but still over powered

Playing top player, zero assists

Regarding pass assist it can't be anymore assisted than it was on the demo already.

I so wish they would just get rid of the 4 levels. They have no problem getting rid of things people actually enjoy why not take out the rubbish.

Edit: how and why the fuck does hitman get to play the full game first:FAIL:

Whoever has the full game - can you please fire up a cup match or something against Superstar AI and see if you can just pass along the back 4 without any pressure from the AI?
I know you wouldn't play like that but just the fact you can score and hold a lead so cheaply really irks me. Things like that shouldn't still be in the game over a decade on. I could do that on PES 5 and 6.

I am on Xbox 360 and that is absolutely true, at least now on -1 speed , the pace is spot on. I don't know why they make easier passes again, I play on manual and passing was really manual in the Demo, now I feel that passes are not so manual, especially long balls.
Also I don't like that most of the players are too agile while on the ball, and they can change directions too fast with the ball closer to the foot, which is a bit fifa-ish thing..
But at least, the game is a lot better than 2016 and there aren't any gamebreaker moments..for now.

guys I don't know why you over analyse everything. just enjoy the game. adam said that the demo is the same version as retail. if you remember, during gamescom he played against german guy who used borussia dortmund and said it's the final code. so enjoy the game and score beautiful goals...

Well you couldn't do it on PES 2016. They fixed it because people were winning myclub comps by doing this if you go higher than professional level the AI will actively try and score.

Zero assist is not full manual in the demo or in retail ..that is why there is a manual override button..weather you argue stats or some AI help there is definitely some form of help with zero assisted
 
People, just switch to manual passing (which isn't FULLY manual, L2+X is anyways) and set your settings to "similar settings" for Online Divisions (if it works the same as last year) and we are gonna have a blast online :D

Also; could someone who has the full game see if some of the brazilian teams (Fluminense for example) still have fake players? Cheers!
