PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

they can do that in the end? there are brand logos and stuff there or u pay for register?
The true brits already explained on his YouTube channel. There are 3 options
First is free but u have to manually apply kits for each team. Second u have to pay a one time payment to get an option file via email which is much more easier. Also every update u will automatically receive the latest option file via email. Third option is getting a USB stick

now these guys are charging for option files, that's disgusting

wauw, always hoped it would never come to this. the PES/WE community never asked anything for kits and option files in the past.
hard world we are living in. makes the game much more expensive now if you want everything without doing the hard work yourself.
but it is hard work so if you personally can't or don't have the resources or don't have the time its an easy solution if you have the money

but its false advertising if they are unable to add in every kit due to konami's png limits

They should just leave a link for donations IMO, many will donate to support their work. Look at the PC patch makers, every single one is free.

ive worked on pes games for more than 10 years and id never ask for money from anyone as im just sharing my own personal file ive made for myself

No he was tackled went off for treatment and didn't return. I am not sure about this second time business you referring to.
He was tackled, went off for treatment, returned, was tackled a second time, went off a second time, and didn't return.

The concept of protecting the ball needs to be driven home a bit more. I see a lot of players (and CPU) just run right into tackles. IRL, players have an actual priority to maintain control of the ball first, and it's not just through passing or dribbling.

Matt I think I remember you saying that CDM issue while on the attacking fullbacks options was fixed, but they still seem broken to me?

It's definitely not legal to do this. You cannot sell material to people that includes copyrighted and licensed stuff.

The worse thing is that they might ruin it for everybody else. The actual license holders might start clamping down on everybody, even the free stuff, if they see people making money from it.

To some extent you are right. It is illegal to copy stuff that has a copyright and so it should be. the main issue though is organisations like Nike, Adidas etc will not pursue at this level. If the option file starts to make $100,000 then maybe, but at this level I highly doubt it.

A good example is the 100's of stalls at comic con selling marvel/DC material without permission from the copyright owners. It's just not worth the legal recompence, especially when you throw in social justice.

Personally, I have no issue paying for something I cannot do myself, these guys put a lot of effort in to making it a more enjoyable experience. for those that do not want to pay can download each one individually. You pay your money, you make your choice.

But it's not Nike and Adidas who will pursue it. The company I worry about is EA. They've done it before.

I don't begrudge paying the guys either, it's a lot of work. But legally, it could kick up a storm for everybody else.

Yeah, my biggest fear about this it's that it could lead to situations where Konami cannot have an in-game editor because users can recreate licensed stuff and make money from it.

Any mod/patch which includes copyrighted material should be free to download. Period. Without any other options.

But its no different to the last 20 years, accept there is now a site charging. The crime will be in the profit, which I highly doubt will be enough for anyone to pursue. As for EA, nothing has changed from having all the license's and Konami allowing an edit facility to replicate it. Not having the stadiums will be a big part (IMO) why we do not see a proper stadium creator.

if they sell 10,000 downloads theyll make 100 grand, it's easily a possibility

I wouldn't be surprised. I think the fb attack instruction throws it all off. I do think the DMF have a dependency on how many forwards the backline is facing. Of course the easy adjustment is to change the dmf to amf or cmf.

Tired of demo now....its good and all just hate playing without commentary.. Cant wait for full game pre ordered at take alot for 750 rand here in south africa....got a question for ZEE....im using a mifi router from telkom for my telkom gaming and the speeds seem to have dropped.is a wired connection better than wifi..r u using a wired connection and what speed is ur line and who is ur ip and the price of ur package all in all ..thanks

with the new 1024x1024 sized kits png it's possible to edit 165 teams with 3 kit pngs , a manager png, emblem and stadium png (total 990 png slots)

Ive counted 152 club teams from England, Spain, Italy, Germany and Portugal need a full set of smaller 1024x1024 kit pngs so KONAMI HAVE LEFT US SHORT AGAIN FOR THE NATIONAL TEAMS

I can live without manager images to be fair.

1000 kits it says on the site. Think we are okay there.

I just need the full game!! I am going demoless now and will plough time in to the full game to learn it properly.
I love it, so far it is bringing me similar fun that I had in those nostalgic, Pes 5 days!!

Took the disk from one of my friends and played some PES 2016 again.

Imo mostly all of the things I disliked in this game, haven't been noticable or have been fixed in the 2017 demo.
After two years of absence i most likely am coming back to PES this year.

Can't wait to play an ML again.

I didn't add in the international kits

Hmmmm...bit balls that.

Are you including the 2nd divisions? Can't see me being arsed with all second division clubs if I concentrate on ML. Still a bit pish if it proves to be short again though.

Saw a lot of similarities to last year's game which scared me. I literally turned it off right away :D I'm glad you enjoy it though.
