PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

.. moving shirts when players jump up, showing some belly, is a pretty cool thing.. will add to the realism. Pity hair doesn't move (also confirmed by Glen).. now that would be something..

ive been checking out Glenpesw's twitter, and wow.. a lot of promising comments. Seems the big issues of 2016 with silly refs, ai being predictable and shooting low, have all been addressed..
Awesome news about the vibration function, awesome net improvement, increase animations including "moving shirts" ;)...

just hope to god they have fixed, or at least slightly fixed, the running animations where the players are ridiculously hunched and the knees hit the stomach every stride...hope they remove the tron running.. .and hope to god the low passing of pes2014 is back where there is a realistic bobble and long low passing is well above the ground... From looking at the new screens that posted last week, the hunch in the player physics is still there...

+1

Been playing pes15 (ps4) most of the day, and I have to say the player physics and how they actually look in game, are far superior to pes16 (ps4), particularly in motion. They players are more upright when moving in pes15.. more natural looking. Pes14 does this even better. Anyways, fingers crossed there has been some improvement in pes17. I hear there are big improvements in animations, but im guessing this means the number of animations and overall smoothness, not how the players actually look when running/turning etc.

Guys, is there any kit patches for PC (for PES2016) without having to wade through frigging Ad-Fly crap etc.

Just want the english kits sorting. So frustrating!

I've got a feeling PC gamers are going to miss out on many new features, if/when PES 2017 turns out to be another Last-Gen port.

That was "downgraded" since pes 2014 for the sake of controlls response.

I also 100% believe in the theory that, because of the lack of proper animations for specific quick actions, some animations are not "complete" to not give bad response.

Has any tester mentioned something about foot planting? The sliding or 'ice skating' of players in 2016 was too much, you could notice it from gameplay cam. Is foot planting improved?

Same here... Why can't they just tell us now that it is a Last-gen-port for us PC-players? Then I wouldn't have to suffer any more...

Don´t keep push it because is not worth it guys. :)
Let's concentrate on this PES and make it better with a patch.

When impressions about gameplay sound too good to be true, I choose to not believe. lol

Seeing is believing, but playtesters have saidd some really nice additions that we dont need to see to know they are there indeed. I am really liking some of those details they are putting to make the game more authentic like kits physics, different goal/netshapes, refs using spray, tvcam for replays etc. All these stuff sound very cool.

For those who worry about speed and acc

@thethund3r There is both Top Speed and Acceleration - and these definitely do make a difference. This year it is very noticeable.

and another tweet to confirm about cpu shooting variety

@PESFan_Pirate I mean how are the cpu shots mate? :) In 2016 cpu aimed only for the bottom corners. Is it the same this year? Cheers.

@szkoki no varied shots when I played cpu, some low some top corner

This tweet seems confuse.

No varied shots but cpu shoots to low and top corner ? Unless this is not varied enough for him.

What about cpu shooting wide or over the top ?

I hope cpu accuracy is not too hign on harder dificulties.

sorry. my question is missing. updated now. but yeah still kinda confusing :D but he confirms aswell tho that low and high shots are in. and other community members confirmed aswell that the cpu varies its attacks and shots

Everything seems really positive..have there been any play testers who disliked 16 who are having the same positive experience

thats all im asking for too more varied cpu goals add with that better gks and refs and i will be happy with 2017

Thanks gabe!

Edit: I would quote the other post.

Indeed. But I think it was the same case as last year.

Someone just posted on wenb a preview from a guy who have been reviewing PES since PES 3, and he seems to be a guy who are very aware of all pes 2016 issues.

He said the Pes 2017 is more like a Pes 2016 2.0 with better goalkeepers, nothing so promising like those tweets are inducing.
