PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

Think he misunderstood the question about cpu low shots i really want to know if there is more variation is how cpu scores played over 5 seasons in ML and id say 90% went bottom corner so tedious

@PESFan_Pirate how about cpu shooting variety? is it still aiming for the bottom corners? #PiratePESDay

@szkoki not always you can vary it but keepers are saving a lot of the lower shots Lloris in particular gets low very quickly"

I think he misunderstood the question. He talks about the human player shot variation, not the CPU.
Still needs to be clarified :(

Reading on twitter im sure someone at the Windsor event said they are about to play vs AI

"Through balls over the top don't seem to be so OP with defenders reading it most of the time and managing to intercept #PESday"

where have i heard that before, where have i heard that before?!
how many years through balls havent been addressed?! i clearly remember last year beeing said they were not even an issue!! someone had that audacity ya!

you know all these feedbacks we shouldnt take seriously as they are based on a few hours of gameplay...flaws come out after days, weeks of playing. but its hell of a fun tho :)

Yes net physics have been worked on

Phew!

I asked this

@glen_pesworld when you play against AI do all their shots go low in the bottom corner as per PES16?

got this back....

nope it's more varied, they'll try many different ways to score including more crossing of the ball

Goalkeepers are SO MUCH BETTER!! More responsive, a bunch of new animations, not unbeatable but they do what they're supposed to do.

"Physics changes and 4 different hanging settings to choose from in #PES2017"

What mean hanging settings ?

Re. #PES2017 net physics. @Adam_Bhatti has confirmed to us that they HAVE been completely reworked with 4 hanging settings to choose from.

So far the impressions are all positive regarding the glaring faults on PES 2016. I hope we don't hear how awesome the pes day version was compared to the Demo or final. Love that L1 + triangle has been fixed.

I love when your player calls for a through ball and as soon as you pass it he runs the other way.
I could get to a lot more balls if i didn't have to run on rails.
This is what i feel needs fixing for 2017.

Oh, that's nice. Cool to have more variety, even in nets design.

Dotted line is no more, but now there are arrows. The free kick system is basically the same as it was in pes 2016.

that's a shame, it takes out the immersion for me having a guide.

It is good reading the positives but after last year I'm not biting until it has been released and I have had a proper play test of the full game. I will only buy one game this year either FIFA or PES and I'm interested that FIFA may be using the frostbite engine

Many positive points so far.
I´m curious...a bit...but not hyped...which is a good thing I think.

Cause it is and always was as gabe said:
The flaws turn out after weeks of playing.

Can´t remember anyone mentioning the cpu low shot crap when the demo of PES 2016 came out for example, or am I wrong?

Can't remember anyone mentioning any faults last year, not that I can remember.

ive been checking out Glenpesw's twitter, and wow.. a lot of promising comments. Seems the big issues of 2016 with silly refs, ai being predictable and shooting low, have all been addressed..
Awesome news about the vibration function, awesome net improvement, increase animations including "moving shirts" ;)...

just hope to god they have fixed, or at least slightly fixed, the running animations where the players are ridiculously hunched and the knees hit the stomach every stride...hope they remove the tron running.. .and hope to god the low passing of pes2014 is back where there is a realistic bobble and long low passing is well above the ground... From looking at the new screens that posted last week, the hunch in the player physics is still there...
