PES 2016 News & Discussion Thread

The difficulty is on Regular at best, nothing to see in terms of A.I., but animations and gameplay improvements are present. I am delighted!:APPLAUD:

I don´t like that cheering feature at all. Totally unnecessary imo.
Looks like a polonaise in carneval.

Gotta say though,

I have a lot better feeling now than with the Trailer.

It looks quite much like PES 2015.
Some new animations that I really like (liked a lot of them in PES 2015 already), game looks smooth.
Ball physics seem to be a bit better.
Turf looks nice on replays, grass coming up when shooting.
The rain looks good too and seem to have affect BUT on replays specially players still look fart-dry.
If only the kits and faces where shiny or wet or something, but finally they made a big step with rain.

Bhatti said they reworked the ML what I appreciate a lot.
Just wish there are injuries for some long term so that I´m forced to replace an injured player (has that been improved in PES 2015 btw? Anyone that played ML knows that?).
And cutscenes please like in former years!

Now IF.....IF the PC version won´t be such stripped down loveless stuff like last year I´ll get my hands on this one.


Btw, GK´s look shit and the game is a little too fast but I´m sure the difficulty was too light and the game speed can be set anyway.

The game looks faster, because it is obviously more responsive due to quantity of new animations and improvements. I like it!
 
pros
1. many new animations makes the game more realistic
2. hey 3 fouls from the cpu in a half of a 5minute match
3. grass from close view still looks amazing, yet its a crappy video
4. at 7:18 Neuer saves a controlled shot with a new animaton

contras
1. really that duck like animation from the other players before celebration is a bit silly
2. looking at the crowd i thought wow the brazil crowd looks cool, then the camera showed the germans and they ware..i dunno on rampage on something, like when they won the WC
3. player gliding between animations is still in, not enough transition
4. gks react bit slow again but maybe its down to the slower difficulty i hope
5. ballphysics looks like from last year but can not judge the gameplay from a video
 
Still very robotic with weird running and turning animations. Another wasted year for Konami i think...
 
I see the same crap as always. The same problems, funny 16 directions dribble etc. Looks like PES2014v2.0

I must say I expected worse from that IGN video. Dare I say that is very early build and we will see some improvement albeit not significant.

Really shouldn't expect more than a polished PES 2015 tho peeps

Watching a bit of that demo im left completely underwhelmed. Obviously I need to play it but it looks full of the same problems.

Theres a bit where Neymar is looking to his right and dribbling forward and pulls off a shot. Really silly.
 
Seems to me they have taken the FIFA approach. Add new gimmicky stuff to the game but dont bother fixing the fundamentals of the gameplay. Not worth the full price of a new game.

Not impressed.

This is clearly pure PES 2015.
From the upgrades they said they did i saw NOTHING!
-3X animations? Pfff...10 animations added (complaining when a foul is not given, and celebrations)
-Ball physics? PFFF ... exacty the linear ball trajectory from PES 2015
-Human motion? PFFF....players are gliding through animation, snapping to the ball.
-Collisions? PFFF...exact the same bottle-colliding thing.

They said that they changed many thing, just to trigger the placebo effect to some people.

This is not even Pes 2015.5. Its exactly PES 2015.
 
Sorry guys.. i'm not trolling or something but..even aside from the fact that the new celebration look very STUPID , the animations and transitions looks even worst the 2015.. i can't see this 3x .

That's my biggest takeaway from this video to be honest (not saying that the game will be bad, none of us know without playing it, but it's time for a demo now as far as I'm concerned).

Looks very similar to last year with a few small improvements,

Positive aspects are Konami are happy to show off the game at a very early stage.

Negatives are well, the improvements aren't really moving the game to another level.

Overall looks good actually, it's what i expected an it's very similar to 2015, looks very, very solid for such an early build, usually at this stage everything is hidden behind scenes. Will be interesting to see how it evolves when the full game hits.
