PES 2016 News & Discussion Thread

One thing the does look good is the ball looks less predictable, maybe because it seems players have a heavier first touch ..looking forward to this

I'd have commented on the defensive AI as well but since they're on low difficulty I can't say much. We need another gameplay video played on Top Player to analyze properly, or at least Professional.

one good thing i noticed in that IGN 16min gameplay is that ref is FINALLY making foul calls.

i mean pes 2015 and 2014 were disaster in that area. finally they seem to fixed that ref issue.

This

Also, there should be way more camera options in replays.

There should be two options of different TV broadcast cameras on relpays, that would be great to record goals.

I'm sure this is easy to implement.

Hell yeah!

Also, it´s about time they bring us back the free replay cam which they have taken from us since PES 2011!

And yeah, very important:
More cam options ingame (also for online) like WE ALREADY HAD IN EARLIER RELEASES!

This can´t be that difficult, can it?

Guys, I'm buzzing.

Forget that IGN video, it was Adam playing one of their guys who doesn't really know PES. Hence the spaces and dragging defenders out of position.

Yeah, most of you probably saw my thoughts on Twitter... It's so good. Fluid. The main word to describe it.Most impressive thing is the way animations, collision system and physicality compliment each other. They come together so well.
Full write-up coming in the next couple of days, but expect tweets, more stuff on Periscope and... Just more!

Doesnt sound very promising. Already looks like PS4 is the main platform.any other gets stripped down version it seems. I was only joking aboutthe exclusive deal with Sony back then and now... oh my...

That being said, some of the traditional animations need work. Several goals went in both for and against where you’d expect the keeper to make the save, many of which you’d be confident would have been kept out in 2015. Likewise, the R2 shot still remains overpowered.

Be wise and just wait for the demo. Forget everything else.

Sigh...how many times have you written this, yet you are one of the first to over analyze every snippet of news about PES.

I if was KONAMI, i wouldn't release anything at all before Gamescon...this thread is a real circus, every year it's the same...

I specifically remember that last year the E3 build was not good at all, even the biggest fan boys were very pessimistic...

And Gabe, an advice (and this is really well meant, you are a genuinely nice guy), just don't make yourself unhappy and wait till the demo...all the over analysis is totally useless (you are not the only one though).

And before anybody asks, i haven't even bothered to look at the (so-called?) gameplay footage and i really don't care how early or late the build is...

I'm sorry, rant over...

#teamignorance

Excuse me?

I'm ignorant because I choose to wait for the demo and try it myself for a game I'm going to pay for instead of relying on silly images and videos and other people's opinions?

Wow.

:) i just like to overact.

altough indeed this assisted shooting-keeping balance is my main gripe. mostly because 2015 with even all the other flaws in it could have been so much fun for me. im still sad that i couldnt enjoy it with you all.
so for 2016 nothing else matters atm for me, and with the content we get - since i havent really played 2015 - i would be happy with even the same gameplay right now as last year:D

my bar is set that low

Do you guys believe that? Why no reply on this?
If Adam was playing another human, then you should see those triangle-markers above players of BOTH sides, not only above the Brazil-players. So this is against the CPU and most probably on a very low level.

We need injurys to fully enjoy a full ML season. Haven't seen one yet. One. Since release.

Well that was my question a few pages ago. Thx for your answer.

I played 2014 ML quite much and it was joyable with the PESGalaxy Patch to some limit, but there were no injuries as well.
Played about 3 or 4 seasons and nada, nothing, nichts, niente!

That was the same issue in PES 2015??

Damn, another ridiculous thing to hope for!

Yeah noticed this and got really excited about it. Along with the physicality that they mentioned and hinted in these videos

Can't wait to play this!

Who wrote that? R2 shot is hilariously underpowered, not over. Keepers? Very good. Better than 2015. #PES2016
