PES 2016 News & Discussion Thread

The thing is, when was the last time we had a good ML? PES 2013?

IF PES 2016 was getting an in-depth, good quality ML then Konami would be singing from the rooftops about it.

I never hold much hope when it comes to the PES modes like online and Master League these days, I've been burned far too many times before! :(

Yeah, unfortunately. It was the better mode. I have read about rumors MLO returning. But this was month ago. As Konami is not spreading information, even 10 days before release, I will keep my hope alive until the release, when it might get finally destroyed ;)

For me My Club is broken. If MLO won't return I hope for a good offline mode at least.
 
I got some pre-order bonuses with myclub last year, never even started a game in it. ML all the way. I'll be mad if they hang ML out to dry, hope they at least leave it as it was last year.
 
One of the things that ruined ML for me in PES 2015 was the lack of stadia. Playing a Prem League campaign in the same 3 stadiums all season really spoiled the immersion.

If they think a Master League article will catch the attention when millions of gamers are playing Fifa 16 demo, they are totally wrong.
 
Just played a few games on FIFA16, whilst I think it's an improvement over 15 (not much) it still doesn't do it for me. I don't get that "1 more game" feeling like PES 2016. The game feels weird still.

People complaining about lack of individuality or less in PES 2016, FIFA16 doesn't seem to have any IMO lol. PES 2016 wins for me.

ALSO, people complaining about level of detail from far on PES, FIFA 16 doesn't look that good either. I actually think PES 2016 has better graphics. Does anyone else think the same?

Absolutely agree, at least in the 2016 demo on the PS4.

The meme that I've seen going around Twitter basically says "looks great in stills, but in motion everyone moves like a robot". I don't think that's true any more.

I do think, though, there's a reason why they both look different (FIFA looks cartoony to me), and I've said this before - a generic player on FIFA doesn't look worlds apart from the superstars (which is easier when the faces aren't as photorealistic), whereas on PES, the generic players stick out like a sore thumb, particularly the officials.

But overall, I definitely prefer PES to look at.
 
Man...left the house for a bit, left the FIFA 16 Demo on. I see a screen of the bernabeu with details like year built, capacity etc....THIS USED TO BE IN PES (PS2 days)
 
A lot of the little things EA can't seem to get right. IE, Zlatan was the one taking a free kick from the center circle lol

Ok guys there are no option file specifics yet. You WILL be able to use kits in your game but will have to wait on details #PES2016
 
One thing I hope PES gets right this year is a proper euro cup format... A 24 team format with top 2 from each group advancing plus 4 best 3rd place teams.

None of the EA Sports games have individuality. They are always generic feeling. Same goes for NBA Live vs NBA 2K. Live is generic and 2K has tons of individuality.

In terms of marketing, the second one would make no sense at all. So it's the first option, 100% sure.
