PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

I wanna see shots that dip, curve, accelerates up in the air when "sliced". It seems like there's only three kind of shots. The finesse shot, the normal shot, and the knuckle ball. Defo more variation in pes 6. So if they wanna get back to basics they need to add way more variety to it. For god sake, a game from 2005 can't bring more variety than a game that is gonna be released in 2014. It's absurd. And no, I haven't played the game yet, but from judging the vids, it's quite clear.

definitely one of the best years i spent on pes 5 and 6, we lost the feeling...shame, we can't judge yet, but the looks say this.
that guy modded the hell out of pes 6 indeed, i like his adboards and turfs...and definitely much much better nets....

I think you guys need to calm down, i can explain the different quality of the gameplay videos. I've played Pes at Gemescom by myself and there was just one big modern full hd television available. This video shows it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hi_Ghv8yXA&feature=youtu.be
The other screens were very little, oldschool and not even full hd i guess. I noticed a big difference between these screens. I've played on a screen that surely was 5 years old and only had hd ready (720p). The graphics weren't nearly as good as the graphics on the big screen.

That sums it up pretty well. Shooting is scripted, and that scripting is very limited.

nope, its not that clear.
you are forgetting that its just a demo.
that is the only thing that is quite clear and still you are expecting to see everything the game has to offer.

don't worry guys.. the initial demo will be OK. Then Konami will release a series of patches..each one worse than the next. By next year March, there will be a PES 2016 thread already created.

WENB is usually the place where valid concerns get shot down and people expressing them called "FIFA lovers", not the other way around.

I know this because I was one of them for almost 4 years.
 
Anderson sorry mate. I understand your disdain about being banned there, hell I was banned there or my account was deactivated for whatever.

I get people lost faith in Konami but if that's the case skip it, get fifa or take up fly fishing but what you are doing now here its not cool and kinda sad.

For fear of sounding like a fanboy (though I am sure I crossed that line 8 years ago) it pains coming to this place for any titbits of PES info, healthy debate or good old banter.

Still, things like shooting are completely valid concerns, not discussing them is denying their existence. Not everyone is constantly looking for things to complain about, just those with the potential to be game-breaking. Lack of shooting variety is deffo one of them.
 
Nothing wrong with discussing them but people talk as if its concluded that there is limited amount of shots. We saw side footers, curlers, little dinks, longer lobs and a few others.

I haven't seen a penalty though. Does that mean they do not exist? Bit silly to rationalise in this manner

The playstation access guys played the game on regular.I think we should wait for a demo. Remember that pes 14 looked very good on screen we all know how that turned out

I'm on board with this. I really want others to get the point here. Still, I can understand a little why everyone is so skeptical about even little details given the past 5 years of Konami's shenanigans.
 
Wow after reading the last few pages.

All that I will say is that it is impossible to make any definitive judgement on any game just from videos, particularly a sports game as there are too many variables.

Wait till 17th September, play the demo and then pass judgement.

And thats not all, I can see they brought back the trowing feature from the n64's ISSs where you can change the player in real ingame time and the player just drops the ball so someone can come and pick it up.

its simple but hard for me to explain it :D
