PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

It's not a lie.
Peter Moore play PES 2015 and compared to FIFA 15!
Prepare Gaviscon for your belly.

You're making no sense... :CONFUSE:

What's the problem of EA already being working on FIFA16 and 17?

(I'm almost sure that Konami already has a small team working on PES16 too)

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

KONAMI Wins this year it's confirmed.

Peter Moore today... EA Sports loose againt konami and it's ready for FIFA 16 and is planned right now making FIFA 17 as well, this is not a joke, is 100% real!

The pitch is ours!

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Even the part where he says he has a good feeling?

Personally i don't feel this is KONAMI awakening.

Dunno about "KONAMI awakening", but although, like James said, I hit absolute bottom with PES in terms of expectations, I also have an unexplainable good feeling about the final product. Might not be the game it should or could be, but still a very good one.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

i think PES 2015 doesnt need a guardian. its a product, if last week u eat shit at a restaruant would u get your hopes up this week if they try to lure you in again with a nice place and with good looking food?

after PES 2014 Konami and their fanboys have to swallow the skepticism of the crowd until the retail version and then some people sure will eat their words. and i would be really glad if i would have to eat mine believe me.

ps: i dont know why are you guys so eager to see the game at Gamescom, im curious too... but since we know that even the demo if there will be any even that will not represent the final gameplay as usual. even Adam admitted it in a tweet so...
Because they used to serve the best food in town with best value for your money. Like having quality food for all you can eat.

We're still waiting for that to make a comeback!

It's btw the only restaurant where you get real foo(t)d. Otherwise you have to cook for yourself. (Go outside with a ball)

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Throwing something controversal in this thread :).

This is an article about an e-sport online magazine.

http://esport.kicker.de/esport/news/609401/artikel_so-einen-bock-darf-sich-konami-nicht-nochmal-leisten.html

That guy Patrick Maier ((German champion of PES 2013, World champion in PES League) had the chance to play PES 2015 a little bit, but didn´t have much time as he had to leave early.

His first impression: Game is more responsive, more fluid and onpoint compared to PES 2014.

What he said though is, that you can see that it is based on PES 2014 which is a No Go for him as he didn´t like it at all.

But:
this guy is a tournament pro gamer, probably through ball spammer or whatever ingame bugs these guys use to win.
The main thing for them is, that the ball gets into the net, no matter how.

So if one of those guys don´t like the game, I think we might have a real good game this year :BOP:

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

2 more sleeps and there is no more hiding behind snippets and fancy catch phrases. Can't wait!
Little more than one day to go.
I'm really confident this time... Hope they don't let us down again.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

By the way (being used to what EA did with FIFA 07-11, I have to ask this)... Is there any news about the PC version (if any)? Will it be the same as PS4/XB1 or the same as 360/PS3?

I know that on Amazon is already possible to preorder a PC version of the game so I'm positive that a PC version is going to be released (even if I heard nothing about that and sites like GameStop let only preorder PS3/PS4 and 360/XB1 versions), but I really hope they make this clear tomorrow as I'd like to be well informed before committing to a game or to the other.

Haven't seen any news but just going by history PC always was the same as latest gen.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

is this even a real question after my last comment?:))

Yes it is a real question.
You are not objective because you seem so negative.

I gave up on PES after PES 2013. After that i scarcely visited this thread, until PES 2014. Although that was unfinished product (and in this aspect a disgrace), i actually liked it better than 2012 and 2013.

For me 2014 is a foundation to build upon...

I'm a litl bit tired of the people who only come in this thread to be very, very negative, often with an air of superiority (if you like 2014 you are clueless).

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I wonder with which version konami comes at Gamescom.
It't almost a tradition that on the press-floor a newer version will be showed and on the public floor is some old version with all sorts of problems.
Let's hope Konami has bettered its life this time. That would be a good sign!

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

The key regardless of the code on either floor is to make sure this game is not released until all the bugs are sorted.

I'd happily wait until December as long as the snap to grid issues along with keeper bugs and more are sorted so konami will not have to create large bloated dlc and patches to further damage playabillity like last year.

I think that good feeling is more about the fact you have set expectations so low you really can't be disappointed this year.

Personally nothing showed by them made me think this is a positive year for PES,not yet. I really have to play it to say something.

Well, with the exception of PES6 (which opened the same route that FIFA 14 followed some years later: old-gen standard release on PC and next-gen late release for next-gen).
Still, if they had wanted to follow the same route, they would have done it with PES 2014 (and it didn't happen) so I take the PC=NG thing for good, let's hope! :))

and i shouldnt be after these years? and that doesnt mean im not looking forward to the game, because after 7 years this time it looks they actually doing something, well at least about the presentation. i cant make any comment about the gamepay until october-november and i never did make, only i could rely on are the past years, especially the last year since is the same engine but at least not exactly the same team working on it.
i just dont want to get my hopes up when it comes to my one of the few childhood franchises wich is still alive today since i burned my hands to many times. everybody can laugh but this is more than a game to me as i have so many memories with it with my brother and with my friends.

No Bundesliga in Pro Evolution soccer until 2018. The DFL (German Football League) signs a new exclusive licensing contract with EA Sports.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I see your point, gabe. As a deluded PES fan (for me it was more than a game too) that had to move to FIFA, I see it perfectly.

But Gerd is somehow right: PES 2014 had a lot of potential under the hood and I'm happy it served as a "base" to build upon.
If they managed to build right, and in the meantime fix the bugs that made PES 2014 nearly unplayable at release date (by the record, many were already fixed during the season), I'm pretty sure we will see a very good game.
Now whether it will be on par with FIFA is arguable at the very least, but the potential is there. It's just that we deluded fans fail to recognise it because we have fear, we don't want yet another let down but still we fear it will happen again.

AND PLEASE KONAMI, RELEASE A BLOODY DEMO THIS TIME, FFS.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I'm watching and watching this topic since the start. Now, it's time to give my own input on the matter.

I don't care about licences at all, those, as many of you already said, can be fixed with patches. Hell, i even don't care about graphics tbh, i only care about the gameplay that was lost for so many years.

I want my ISS Pro Evo series gameplay back.. that's all i want. I'm sick of being dissapointed and lied to each year. I want this shitload of scripting to vanish, i want to feel free when i play, i want the old feeling of PES.

I know.. i'm a dreamer.. This year's PES15 would be what PES14 should've been in the first place. It's like how Windows 7 was as what Vista supposed to be. Considering both PES14 and Vista were unfinished products.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

if unable to obtain bundesliga and premier english, I could at least get the english and german clubs.

or are the exclusive?

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

EA confirmed the PC version will be identical to PS4 and XB1

Wasn´t the question about PES?
Or did you mean KONAMI actually?

I also believe the potential is there.
With the latest patch on PES 2014 the game is very joyable, mostly human vs human on the same PC/console.

Even that
a) there is no permanent PES feeling like in old days, but it shows up a few times and
b) the amount of fouls (ball is away from player by pass or shot, but gets tackled and ref interrupts the game) have been set too much with the latest patch.

Also, playing it with the latest PESgalaxy patch (Nesa gameplay and klashman tactics included and much more) it´s much more fun than playing the original version.
I recommend everyone, playing on PC, trying the PESgalaxy patch.

The engine is right, KONAMI needs to work on it though and get rid of all the crap.
I´m pretty sure they can get it done.
