PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Besides the blending, the animation itself might be cut too short. It makes things extra responsive, but notice how it interrupts the foot planting momentum.

You may be right though, and it might feel natural in wide-cam.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

That Ozil animation is the first one ive seen that looks broken in terms of animation.
But the rest look good.
Looking forward to some gamescom footage

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

2 more sleeps and there is no more hiding behind snippets and fancy catch phrases. Can't wait!

This is not true.

I like to repeat last year Pes 2014 cam videos made the game look excellent, look at what we got.

You must play it.

True, but at least we'll have an idea. Right now we don't know a whole lot.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

These snippets are comforting...there's nothing like seeing the game in motion and while short there's a lot to be positive about...a far cry from the rigid animation of the last six years.

You gotta love the naysayers though..the narrow minds just see what they want to see.

Those boys at konami HQ have knuckled down and put the hours in..pes15 looked great back in June..who knows where its at now and all indicators point to a upward slant.

Naturally game play, demos and extended footage will be the real acid test, but I'm already pumped.

Ipswich69 summed it up best...nitpicking!

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

ok:CONF: you made your point

i think PES 2015 doesnt need a guardian. its a product, if last week u eat shit at a restaruant would u get your hopes up this week if they try to lure you in again with a nice place and with good looking food?

after PES 2014 Konami and their fanboys have to swallow the skepticism of the crowd until the retail version and then some people sure will eat their words. and i would be really glad if i would have to eat mine believe me.

ps: i dont know why are you guys so eager to see the game at Gamescom, im curious too... but since we know that even the demo if there will be any even that will not represent the final gameplay as usual. even Adam admitted it in a tweet so...

We know you stopped liking PES. You 've made your point months ago. Why do you keep visiting this thread if you're done with PES?

He is actually right.Skepticism is high even between pes fans, included myself, anderson, jamezinho and many others.
We are here because we still hope in a great Pes.

One of the better posts I've seen around.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I've got a thoery on the Animation snapping on a few of those snippets, being a frame rendering issue ie the hardware sometimes rendering the next frame to quickly...it's Definetly a bug or a rendering issue probably caused by the hardware causing the frame rate to rise and then drop causing a snap or jump in frames much like a skating effect...for me this is ps4 code and a by product of the ps4 rendering quicker then the refresh rate.

Normally a by-product of running code meant for weaker machines on faster more powerful hardware..may just be a optimisation issue and I doubt We would see this in pes15 running on a ps3 or xbox360.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I think many of us are eager to see PES2015 at Gamescom for the simple reason that we've seen so little of the game up until this point, which is unusual compared to previous years.

I'm still remaining skeptical and will not be pre-ordering regardless of what I see from Gamescom and how the demo plays. My expectations are the lowest they have ever been, but I must say, I do have a good feeling about this year. Feels like an awakening for Konami.

wouldn't compare the recent ones to shit, we were just used to much better so,

if it was the same restaurant that served me the best meal as far as i can remember.
the same restaurant that made me start going to restaurants in the first place and hope that there were more meals like the one they served me for so long, then yes, i would think i owe it to myself to keep giving them the benifit of the doubt since no other restaurant or meal ever satisfied me like the one they served me all those years ago.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

i thought games were stupid.
then i came across a game that could replicate the feeling my favorite sport gave me.
the rest is understandable.

since i know that i wanna judge the game by myself and no other opinion can help me achieve that.
i already know i will be buying both.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I genuinely do get the impression Konami are waking up. They now have a studio in the UK. They've hired specialists to sort out transfers and do live stats updates. They seem to be implementing things into the game that will please fans who've been with the series for years, which shows they are listening to an extent.

Their marketing has been shambolic at times but, in general, the low key approach is perhaps a more sensible way to go. Let the game do the talking when it's ready to be shown.

I saw a lot of positive from PES 2014. The base of the game was really good , so after seeing those vines I'm feeling that this year we get se a great game. But let's see how they will performe in GC.
