PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

You answered my point here really. I've played 100's of people on FIFA 14 and tried a variety of different sliders. Sliders is not the answer, sliders If you factor in the percentage system FIFA runs on simply changes the base gameplay for one style to another, giving the illusion to you of more freedom, it's just changing the game from one rigid structure to another. This explains why people in slider threads always change the gameplay constantly week in week out, this is not the way forward, the way forward is a good balance which allows all types of tactics and footballing styles and cultures to exist but this takes a long time and hard work, why i spoke of my feelings on FIFA is because i see that PES has tried to do this which FIFA isn't interested in this aspect and why.

What sliders should do is change the styles of football through the ages, so Football before the tackling laws of 2007 and era's with more heavier balls to represent pas eras of football (1970's) (1980-1992) (1993-2005). Sliders should be made to create more extreme strange styles of football, the base should be realism.

No matter which slider settings you use, many people such as myself comment on when goals are scored the keepers are preloaded to hesitate and miss the shot from certain angles, then you have the scripted 25-35 yard shots from 45 degrees, no matter the player, if you catch the sweetspot right it's a goal, whether it's Messi or Mertersacker who i did score from 35 yards with.

The worst part is again it doesn't matter if it's manual or assisted, I been playing manual since FIFA 08, the best manual for FIFA was 10 and the world cup game and it's got worse since the pro passing came in, again another percentage based system which doesn't work properly.

All games are scripted, all football games are scripted, it needs this because the CPU needs to follow a command for the game to work.

My apologies for the negative talk on FIFA here in this thread, as you see i try to keep my FIFA talk to a minimum. You don't have to worry about me spoiling your enjoyment, you like the game and nothing i say will change that, don't get uncomfortable because someone says something different to you, we all see the game in different ways and want different things.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Adam's at it again.

Don't get the jumping on 'hype'. Seriously, just wait until you play it and choose for yourself. It's really not that hard. Be happy.

Responsive gameplay and playing the game like real life? PES is for you. Spamming lobbed thru-pass & no individuality? Not in PES, sorry.

There's just two types of gamer, one who wants instant fun, the other wants fun that's rewarding. Neither is wrong.

Referring to FIFA ain't part of his job, eh?

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Nothing wrong with those tweets.

Yes it is. They are lies.

Spamming lobbed thru-pass? Not in PES, sorry

They are in basically any random online match you find.

Responsive gameplay and playing the game like real life? PES is for you

Saying this after PES 2014 and prior to the next Gamescom is pretty ridiculous and no-one are able to take you as a serious person. Show your product and then you can praise him if you like. 'Till just get your mouth shut.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I am so old, I can recall three summers ago in 2011 when I was bored at work I would go on long walks and read these forums for info on PES 2012. Now I barely have time to check as work is super busy and I have no time to play anyways. I hope this version is as amazing as we have all hoped since the PS2 days, but for the life of me I dont know when I will have time to play! I think it comes down to what is important in life, on one hand providing for your family is important but then if you dont have time to enjoy them or the other pleasures in life, whats the point? I am hoping this is the best PES ever so the game makes that decision for me! LOL

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Sorry, but Adam's latest tweets sound very a amateur to me.

I mean... i thought he was supposed to be some kind of intermediator btween fans and Konami. Sure marketing/prasing the game is part of his job, but his latest tweets sounded like they were coming from a typical fanboy like those you see on youtube, and he's not in position to make such comments, it is simply unprofessional.

You don't need to depreciate the other game to convience others how good yours is. Fifa has it's merits and deserves some respect for that.

As much as I tend to love PES, I have been seeing more efforts from EA to offer a good product than Konami. Thats my opinion.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Well, Adam works for a company that is trying to sell a product so that it can pay its employees and keep the business moving forwards. With that in mind, he has every right (and responsibility) to be enthusiastic and talk about their new game in a positive light, which includes a wee bit of friendly gamesmanship with the competition.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Can we see less of some of the the meaningless pulling Adam to pieces type shitty negative troll posts in this thread, those that have done it.
I do not know what he has done in life to deserve it.
Just be patient and wait for gamescom or demo and make Your own minds up.

Warnings or worse await next joker up with this bile.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Hehe when he says nothing they are scared or embarrassed - when they do say something they must shut the fuck up.

The internet era...

One thing is to tell news, what the game will have, etc. (like real life gloves on the game). Other is to hype the game with things that have plaque the previous games, make them payable only for a short period of time. What information did you gain from those tweets? Nothing. If I said to you that those were from PES 2014 era? They could be. It's the same type of unmeaning full hype. And we all saw the results with PES 2014. Batthi lost all the credibility as an intermediary after that. He may regained, but until I saw something, I thing he better just be quiet and only state facts.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Never understand why people get so worked up about adam.

Whats wrong with you guys, you play the game, he doesn't play for you. Its ridiclous we get this energy where people feel so insecure about others approval over what game they play. Adam is never in a million years going to say anything bad about pes when his job is to hype it.

If you don't like him ignore him and stop wasting time hating him. Its as if people expect him to cook them breakfast every morning.

Hes just a guy that delivers news. Times are hard and people have to pay bills.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Before him, we had Jon Murphy who did a much better job. "Next year we will focus on x.", "The new features are this and that". Adam Batthi said things that simply weren't true. Hype a first year with a new engine game, with a understaffed team, to the extreme, telling people that the "King is back" and other BS, when it was clear that he didn't have any input in the game, and barely had any meaningful insight. His behaviour just let people to expect an end of cycle game, instead of a new one.

This year he's tune downed, Konami probably gave him an earful. But now he seems to slowly regain his old habits. And I fear that once again he will say things that aren't in the game, raising people expectation too much, that in the long run will drove more and more people out of the game. His job is too tell news, to say what the team have in mind this year. Not to compare games, and make subjective views. He's not a blogger anymore. He’s the head of a PR team. He's basically the voice of Konami in regard to PES.

Just look at difference in behaviour to him and Masuda (the guy that actually lead the team).

The point is nobody gives a shit what PR people say about pes. Judge the game yourself, not on things which didnt happen.

Give the guy a break. Stop taking what he says so seriously, stop taking this game so seriously.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Klash matr you wasting your time. Bunch of loonies. We could have had him as a konami rep here at Evo-web but alas haters will keep him away.

I don't always agree with them but the behaviour ia uncalled for.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Can anyone here tweet him my suggestion (if the system allows it)? I'm clearly blocked on his side.

Animation blending didn't change one bit...

He said they are still working on it and they have more animations so will take time to blend them all in

well said.
Trusting the opinion of a PR. Man is just stupid. We should all be much wiser then that after all these years.
I’d trust an opinion from a plain gamer like myself instead but the whole point of the PR.man is to hype his companies’ product up.
What do some of you expect?
In the end the best judge is you.
