You don't think Konami wants the EPL and Bundesliga aswell? :FAIL:

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

That's all there missing. Would be a great addition for them!

It would make the CWC even better.

You are absolutely right. Today EA will announce another exclusive about stadia from other european leagues, as some lead to understand.
Stadium editor is only a well known and well done thing of past. Edit mode has to expand if SH wishes to compete with someone which grabs exclusives like eating cakes.
Many could argue is just cosmetics, but I don't see how you can last long without the rest.
It's sure is getting hard to manage a game where editing has the same importance like playing, but I don't feel will ever change.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I would like all those leagues in PES, there is more than the EPL in football...

I can barely stand watching it at times

European leagues aren't the be all and end all.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

When I said "you can't last long without the rest", i meant "FIFA can't sell a lifetime without a wonderful gameplay. Maybe so is more clear.
I was just talking in general. FIFA buy as many licenses as they can to cover the awful gameplay.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

please stop this nonsense ....even more after PES 2014. have u tried FIFA 15? no. have u tried FIFA 14? i guess not. have u tried PES 2015? no.

maybe im getting old but this girltalk is hurting my eyes. still some customers dont get it that this competition is good for them.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

You right gabe saw a similar comment on fifa thread proclaiming Pes demise after EAs reveal. Not sure why because EA had EPL exclusivity for years I just walked away from it.

People hurl abuse and call me fanboy when I have played both and have a genuine preference for one of them. What i cannot handle is peeps going into the PES thread who clearly have 0 interest and for some reason feel that everyone needs to know and agree with it and if you don't....you must be a deluded fanboy.

Maybe we are getting too old

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Oh god. EPL, BBVA, Serie A and Bundesliga are the most important leagues in football period. Always been, always will. Let's not put our fanboyism in the middle of reality.

Is PES 2015 gonna have at least one of these leagues? Because if they don't and the gameplay is as shitty as last year, the series is fucked.

I have tried FIFA 14 NG and i dont like it.
I dont care much about graphic, but gameplay didnt match my expectations.
Visually it looks OK, but main stuff sucks.
No matter what kind of goal i score, there is no "WOOOOW" or "IN YOUR FACE!" (if you play against friend) effect.
Its just that "MEH..." feeling.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

So Fifa's big surprise is the fully licensed SüperLig. I'm not disappointed.

I haven't had that feeling for pes either since the ps2 days.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Well, i dont play online, only ML and mostly PvP, its there but only if you play against your friends :)

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

So... asking if PES 2015 is gonna have one of those leagues is considered a joke... okay.

Yes it's a joke because we officially know since months that every league you mentioned except Bundesliga will be in.

Not sure if joke or troll

Now, I'm the one not sure if you're joking or trolling...

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I saw FIFA 14 ENGINE from XBOX One and i compared to the FIFA 15 video Goal Decision System, and it's all the same gameplay as FIFA 14 on PC.The only thing was change for PC was the graphics, more clean.

:CONFUSE:

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I'd like to see for once reversed parts. FIFA with editor way, and PES with all world licensed badges on the cover.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Something i'd like to share here with the usual silly FIFA and PES debate.

I have played both and will continue to play both and every football game which is released since 1994. I have extensively played FIFA 14 and PES 2014 and 2013 this year, when i read people's opinions here the overwhelming issue i see here is people seem rather, as i say 'insecure'.

People's awareness is solely based on now, now and now, nobody seems to be good at looking forward and seeing the big picture. PES's rise and fall and imminent resurgence is no accident along with the Rise of FIFA. What i can't understand is why people can't see this?

ISS/PES became the number 1 football game because Seabass's team did their homework and didn't cut corners like other companies did way back on the PS1 Generation, this followed onto the PS2 generation because Seabass's team got the philosophy right. Build the game on stats.

Most if not all the other titles built their games on all manner of gimmicks and their games lacked individuality and variety because they where not prepared to do their homework.

The reason why FIFA came to prominence now is because of money, EA tried all sorts of gimmicks over the years, most if not all of which failed until around FIFA 2005, they started to get hardened PES fanatics in who gave FIFA a better platform to build their game on, trying to emulate PES with new technology and a more stat based philosophy. EA despite their failures always had giant reserves of cash and received a new, groundbreaking next generation engine in 2005! This was and still is standard procedure at EA, Konami on the other hand didn't look into the future and their failure was inevitable due to their fear of change.

EA's success around FIFA 08/09 and especially 10 on this generation unfortunately brought in an issue, they had an engine a generation ahead of its competitor so there has been since FIFA 08 no core changes to build the game on stats. Their intention from FIFA 10 onwards has shown no serious attempt to improve the game using the PES philosophy, instead it's become the 'Call of Duty' of football games, an 'action sim', it simulates a few aspects but fails to balance out the game, it seems to go from one extreme to the other each title. Take for example the tricks on FIFA, on FIFA 08 this was in the philosophy of PES stat based, every player who was over 85 for ball control could do all the advanced tricks, since 09 it's been totally separate to the stats. Then you have the goals you score, for years finesse shots across the keeper where king, then they stopped this for near post piledrivers to become the king. Every year they have added new features which have brought the game 4 steps forwards but these have always brought new flaws which bring the game 3 steps backwards. This is because EA have had gameplay which looks and feels a generation ahead with it's engine despite the action simulation nature of the game itself.

EA have their game in an unassailable position regardless of what PES does, hence why i have put no energy into trying to improve EA's title like i used to, our input means nothing because the game will sell regardless.

The reason I've put so much energy into PES is because it's doing it's homework with the resources it has available, it's accepted it's position in the marked and has worked hard to go back to what made it great and stabilize, it's simply not had the money to advertise and promote it's game against EA, so it's gone into working on the care fundamentals of football. From PES 2010-2013, clearly not all the titles, every year key improvements where made to advance the football philosophy. PES 2013 for me and for many was the 'genesis' of PES, it was everything they could do within the last generation engine they had.

The most interesting me is last years failure with PES 2014 was people has seemed to forget that Konami now have an engine which can stand up to EA's engine, this, just like FIFA taking over from PES 7 years ago means PES's resurgence is inevitable.

It's not about, arguing which is better and who is an idiot for playing what, these things go in cycles and it's about all of us being aware what was good, what's good now and what will be good. People will pick what they like, we are a community and that is the most important thing we all share our experiences, whichever game is better won't change our lives but the discussions here and new awareness discovered can only create good things.

That argument is valid only if Pes 2015 is the following step, the natural evolution of Pes 2014, and not a total reset.

I'm worried about this though, Adam keeps saying Pes 2015 gameplay is totally different compared to Pes 2014...

They need to drastically improve and fix Pes 2014 errors, not reset it.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I used to think the same (even wrote an article about it), but it quickly became clear that Konami's "new engine" is very different from what EA did in 06/07. The game wasn't rebuilt from the ground-up based on the new engine, they adapted the existing game, using the Fox Engine to power the graphics and physics, but the vast majority of gameplay mechanics remained the same.

For me, there's nothing in PES2014 that suggests a comeback. Hope to be proven wrong this year.
