PES 2015 Discussion thread. PC

Unfortunately putschi I should have added that these screenshots are from replays, which do indeed look better than normal gameplay.

It seems that in replay mode the game applies a much better level of LOD compared to normal gameplay. I would love to have normal mode looking that detailed indeed, if anyone finds a way to do that I'll be a very happy man!
 
Can someone tell how the heck we can take off this Letter Box shit?
I hope someone will give this extra options from PES 2014 Version to PES 2015.

I try to change the resolution in my computer, but is insane doing that, i can broke my card if i do that everytime i wanna play pes 2015.
I really hate so much the Letter Box.

The perfect resolution for fullscreen i use on PES 2014 is 1280X960 4:3 With 16:9 On, No Letter Box option Add.
 
Ok I see, Can you post two screenshots of the normal game, with and without it? That would be nice, so I can finally see how it really looks.
 
I'm pretty sure that the input lag is caused by vertical sync. I disabled it for pes exe in nvidia control panel and now the game is much more responsive. However now it is also stuttering...

I'm 100% sure its the same as the PS4 version in gameplay, only difference is performance isn't optimized so it may not play as smoothly unless you play around with Nvidea or ATI settings.

I've played about 15 games now and the gameplay looks and plays the exact same way as the PS4 videos i've watched and i've seen maybe 100 Ps4 PES 2015 matches.

There is no difference at all.

would you (or anyone else) mind sharing Nvidia settings?
 
I used to be a FIFA PC player, but I've tested fully modded PES14 and I feel like PES15 is the same in terms of fluidity and response.

Is it because I have input lag ? How can I know that ? My game runs 60fps solid shit and i got no micro sttuters
 
Graphics overall are not that bad but there are some obvious things that need to be fixed. For example player models on menu look bad and the crowd looks very pixelated in close ups. Grass looks ok in replays when the camera is close but becomes very ugly when the camera moves further.
 
Alright, I played a couple of games on PC - one single match and a Become a Legend one. During the single match I didn't notice anything different from last year in the gameplay or graphics - slow game, no intro scenes, not even in BAL mode.

The interesting thing happened when I started my first game in BAL mode (I choose Liga Adelante and I was signed by Racing Santander). The gameplay... WOW! Probably the best AI I've seen in a long time! Intelligent passes and lobs, lots of shots from any available position (in previous years the AI used to drag the ball all around the pitch instead of taking a shot, now this is history). The score at half-time was 1-0, but could have been 4-3, there were so many scoring opportunities! The most important thing is that right now I want to play more and more of this game, something I haven't felt since PES 6.

As for the graphics, yes they seem poorish even at HIGH picture quality and the details get blurred viewed by the match camera. Anyway I believe the modding community can take care of this issue, the great news is that the gameplay is there!

P.S. - I got the game from a tracker to try it first and I'm going to buy it when it's available. Try the game first!

In PES 2011 and PES 2013 especially the shooting was fantastic, since the movement was so dynamic this is what varied the shots, body position, weight, technique. Now the animations all move in one-piece so it's too easy and consistent to get your balance right all the time. There was a lot more responsivness in those games compared to this year.

I think i will move away from basic shooting since it easy, just don't press the direction while shooting, just press shot in certain positions and it's automatic goal, it will be manual shooting i think for me once i get used to the game more.

I still really like the game despite its flaws. Overll it's really good. What it does well is fantastic.



Well said, at least the gameplay is very good this year, but i feel rather annoyed that Konami have blatantly sabotaged the PC version to make the PS4 version look better, what really annoys me the most if the PS4 version still looks like a PS3 game anyway. They just glossed the textures over.

The shooting is that bad? Its lacking so much in context? :( that doesn't sound good...it sounds like they are moving towards Fifa's direction, arcadey shooting...sigh I really need to play the demo.

But what did you like about it?

I did play the Fifa 15 PC Demo and I didn't like it. Sure the shooting animations look great but it lacks a certain depth. That said, I don't know how much different is the shooting in the release version.

Plus the AI's passing leave much to be desired.

I am reading lots of +ve reviews on Steam's user opinions. A lot of people say the real PES is back.

Should I pull the trigger....
 
Konami created a Masterpiece. Thanks to Konami decision to make same graphics as Pes 2014 my old laptop runs this game so smooth. Finally i can now switch from Pes 2013 to this BEAST! King is back:WORSHIP::WORSHIP::WORSHIP:
 
Think the most sensible thing - as painful as it is - will be to wait 2 months and see what the Mod community can manage.

Til then, there's GTAV, Dragons Age:Inquisition and other games to keep us PC'ers busy :)
 
Ah all this steam nonsense! I got the dvd sent to my Dad's place from amazon in the UK (cheaper as I live in France :)) )and in the past I've used the dvd key (regedit) with Reloaded nocd to play MLO. Now I have no idea what to do! Anyone have a clue?
 
Graphics are really poor in comparison to what you'd expect from games these days, so that's a shame. But with that said, it's a superb game and the gameplay takes me back to the good old days.
 
I Feel utterly ripped off, this isn't the same game as the demo I've been playing on my PS4, wish i'd waited for the demo now.
