PES 2015 Discussion thread. PC

Can someone enlighten me here? It plays almost the same as last year, no major changes to the gameplay at all.. eg its shit.

And still in 2015 after so many years KONAMI still doesn't use different movement speeds? You still have only 2 movement speeds, normal movement and dash movement, is this a joke? lol
 
Found another graphical difference between PC and PS4 versions, I'm running PS4 Demo and PC full version side by side here, matches both in Konami Stadium to spot differences, and aside from the pitch texture, I have noticed all the pitchside "staff" (cameramen, ball boys, stewardst etc) are all perfectly still and "cardboard cut-out ish" on the PC version, but are all animated as per PES2011 to PES2014 on the PS4 version.

Makes quite a difference to the spectacle even though the gameplay is the same.

Well done Konami, making sure plenty buy the PS4/XB1 versions to get these "nextgen" extras, whilst PC owners (luckily I get the best of both worlds) are stuck with a purposely depreciated game that hasn't even got a 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution option, this really angers me although there will be a fix again this year I'm sure like there was for PES 2014.
 
...and you can bet the held back (hmmmmm) PC demo is due to them having to "remove" animated ground staff and a better pitch that might have been initially put into the PC demo, they are probably right this minute rushing to create a demo that matches the full game. Ok, they would have known this 2 months ago but nothing would surprise me anymore.
 
for all people experiencing stuttering and having a good PC I have a tip

"try to give the game HIGH priority from task manager" after having started it.
Last Year it worked for my PES 2014 and considering it is the same game (graphic-wise) maybe it can work
 
My first 6-8 games ran very smooth, even one online game. I played myClub, exibition, training skills and Champions League. No issues with stuttering.
Then all of a sudden when I played my first game in Copa Libertadores it started to stutter, and now even in the menus. I didn't restart the game, I didn't changed anything, just started another game mode. There is terrible tearing, and the stuttering seems worse the more things I try to change.

Now nothing works, vsync on/off/adaptive, fps limit etc etc.
And no, changing priority does nothing.
 
OK guys, it is not just cutscenes gone !

Again supercancel is almost nothing, you can't cancel anything when you controll the ball.

The Little Lop with shot + R1 is gone too

Online you can't chose the stadioms

Online you can't edint camera

Online you can't save replays
 
I've been following this thread today at work knowing that I had the new PES waiting for me when I got home. The amount of negativity in here had me questioning whether I'd even bother launching it. I've just had a game against the computer and I'm not sure where you're all coming from.

I've been playing PES on PC since 2009 I think. Before that I played on consoles. Doesn't matter. When I started playing this one it just looks like PES. It doesn't look amazing but I certainly can't see this giant step back from 2014 that you're all talking about. It looks decent enough when zoomed in and every PES so far has had stupid LOD. Someone will sort that for us.

My experience has been that it runs at a solid, smooth 60fps at all times and don't really see any issue with smoothness or responsiveness. Animations generally look nice with a few exceptions. The keeper throw looks a bit silly, for example.

The problem, in my opinion, is that everyone on these boards gets so sucked in to the hype for this game that nothing can live up to expectations. Go back and look at every iteration of the game. The king is back every year, basically.

I haven't played online yet and that is the only bit I actually care about. I was a bit upset to see that MLO is gone and this UT clone has taken over. But I'll give it a shot. At the end of the day I paid 20 quid for it and it may or may not keep me entertained for many months to come.

Sorry for the rant. I was passively following the thread all day.

I agree. So far it's a very good game and people need to reserve judgement until they bed in. Yes, the graphics are not next gen but the gameplay is where its at. If people start banging on about nets I'm gonna leave this forum!
 
Well I've spent whole day playing it, even though for now I am shockingly bad at it :D

I kinda agree that people maybe had too big expectations. But then again, maybe it depends on a person.

Graphics are shite, but hey, I was playing PES 6 for last eight years so it was never really an issue for me :LMAO:

Gameplay, not perfect really, but simply okay, and okay PES will always beat any other games for me. The point is, when I play the game, even tho I just legit got murdered today :D and I'm struggling enormously at Superstar, I just want to learn it and I believe in it.

Personally I have no technical problems, works fine, 60fps in 1920x1080 resolution on high settings. I really don't need much more than that graphics wise.

EDIT: As for the PES 2014 feel, dunno what you guys mean. I was playing AJ Auxerre in ML for a while (and got rekt :D), and maybe with low-level teams (which I love the most) game feels a bit clunky, but I tried some top-tier teams later on and there were no problem at all.

Come on!

IMHO what makes the difference this year is AI (If I would have to bring just one thing on a table). About fu***** time, CPU just plays as it always should have played. Period.
 
Been playing CL and have to say I'm loving it. Love the way you get punished if you don't keep the ball. I admit there's a slight lag when using vsync (which i have to) but it's so much more responsive than 2014.
Nets are wonderful btw - like I give a shizzle!

Oh and player Id is top notch! But the menus defy logic!

The page is still there. And judging by the time published on the page, it's been there for 13 hours, proudly announcing that the pc demo is now available, yet there's no link to it, and I can see no sign of it on Steam either.

They really do come across as a bunch of useless cocks.

In a nutshell. Missing ton of animations aswell with slight delay in response, graphics at times are step back from last year. If you were thinking of getting it on pc, better things to waste money on, shame.
 
This is so stupid... Why they said Demo PC is available when it's not??? Some cliffhanger-like viral commercial strategy or whatelse? Waiting for the Demo. I even don't know if my machine can run the game fine.

Some question: the engine is GPU/CPU based? The game is "heavier" than PES2014? I found the crowd disabler mod that in the past improved a lot my game experience with PES, is it working properly with PES2015?

I dunno, i mean today I've played it and the Ai which i liked is starting to annoy me already, on superstar with certain setups it's like they are cheating. The AI with certain teams pass the ball around with lazer precision accuracy at a lighting fast pace and you can't do much or anything to get the ball off them.

Its cheating because no matter the player stats the CPU seem to pass all with the same lazer precision accuracy, this again happens usual when the AI has a counter attack setup on like Real Madrid, they score really cheesy goals with your defence at times just watching the AI score.

I done lots of kits for this year so i'll just leave the game for now. defending on the game kinda pissing me off at the moment. Still only the secound day.

On a serious (really serious? ;) ) note: they look a bit stiff from what I saw in the videos, but I can't say I tried them personally as I am still waiting for the demo. :P

All the AI do the same thing but better players are merely quicker and more accurate.
There is no midfield in defence
