played a few games on 360, not sure what to think yet. Need to keep playing, honestly not seeing too much different, will report back later.
Yeah me too, my 360 version was fluid and responsive to start with so I'm not noticing any difference where that's concerned.
I'm not sure what to think so far. Main points are:
POSITITVES
- I scored a long range goal! That said, I hit a 35-yard shot that looped and lobbed the keeper rather than a proper drive.
- team mate AI feels slightly better, players making better runs.
- the game feels more enjoyable due to being more competitive in midfield. The AI seems to close you down a lot more.
NEGATIVES
- WILL THE AI STOP PASSING THE BALL TO THE NEAR POST!!! It doesn't work and the AI keeps trying to do it.
- shooting feels identical to me so far.
- I can still seemingly score with ease by shooting then tapping R2 immediately after. The ball lifts up a few feet over the on rushing keeper, and worked every time pre-patch. I'll try it some more, but it's a game breaker for me.
- I've already scored a goal where their keeper pretty much ran too far over one side of the goal and left a near open net.
- keepers are still seemingly absolutely woeful at saving downward headers.
- if you initiate a team mate run off the ball, he STILL sprints for roughlyhalf the length of the pitch.
I dunno. It's more enjoyable but there are far too many issues not fixed for me. The game is still far too focused on playing lofted through passes for example.
