If this is true,:WORSHIP:. I don´t want a "perfect any bug game" this is imposible, but playable

I'm guessing this means shooting can become more accurate by slowing down and taking your time? Still doesn't mention whether keepers will have the facility to be beaten from long range or not.

I thought there was no catch up.

Well, if they don't screw it up (as I am afraid they will) this could be a biggie... Fingers crossed..

C'mon guys lets be optimistic it sounds like a lot of problems are being addressed, we've all agreed that it could be a great game under all the problems,. let's give it a chance I'm as disappointed as the rest of you with the game as it is.

We won't know until we until we play it, let's wait and see. There could be more improvements as we progress.

Got the infraction for calling Adam an "idiot" which was viewed as "disrespect". I think that level of sustained incompetence deserves some backlash to be honest.

I see my post which mentioned FIFA got deleted too, despite making actual points (not just "FIFA is shit") and two people agreeing with me.

I wouldn't even mind if I got banned from posting for a week, but I can't even view the forums without changing IP address and the ban on my account never expires.

I might have gone too far as well and we are giving the mods on evo-web a hard time, but compared to other forums they do allow us to say much more. I salute them, But I agree with your point.

Why there's no Iceland, Estonia or any other small nation in the game? Is it because they are tiny countries with no big sales or is it because there's no more room in the game?
 
Having not extensively played PES 2014, I can't say whether the list of changes stated will transform the game enough to make it a worthwhile purchase. From what I have played of the game, I'd say the shooting needs a hell of a lot of work doing to it.

I'll wait to see what the likes of Jimmy, Supertalk etc. have to say about it after a couple of weeks.

You know when a defender is running a bit behind the attacker, sometimes he was suddenly sucked up into the attacker in a push each other animation, lol, i don't know the term for it.

Or sometimes, the defender has suddenly extra speed.

The lists of fix is great though. Hopefully well-implemented.
 
Hope the player responses are fixed related to passes and loose balls - a bit more awareness all round would certainly help
 
Had a session last night again - Top player. I scored 4 goals using exactly the same tactic..cut in from the flanks between the CB and SB and manual shoot into the far corner. Its so unlike PES to have this happen.
Also the attacking player balance with the ball is overpowered.I was able to shove off sergio Ramos using Napolis Pandev with ease.

I wonder if this Kei fella knows wtF he is doing and I hope konami get it right for 2015. At this point I am worried that the much lauded UK office is useless - I remember them posting pics of the team playing PES2014 while the rest of us where waiting for the demo. Surely they must have picked up these issues that we found in a matter of days or were they also underthe impression that this would be fixed?

I have never been so worried about the PES franchise before not even 2008, which for the record, Seabass came out and apologised for close after release.
 
PES 2014 and everything related to it, is a PR nightmare.
The Bhatti guy gets lots of stick, but i feel for him in this one. How do you treat something like this?
 
Played 2013 last night for the first time in a while, this game is incredible compared to 2014, it really is football. The passing and shooting are spot on and it very much highlights how wrong these things are in 2014. It also felt amazing to be playing a responsive game, im not sure I can go back to 2014 after my 2013 session.

I am far from being optimistic that the patch will come close to fixing the game, there is just too much wrong with it. If they could of ported 2013 to the fox engine I think we could of had a very special game. Instead they have to F about with crappy features like HEART and ignore what they have been doing right since the beginning. 2014 reminds me of FIFA 07, it has some fancy tech and it looks like a football game but it plays nothing like one, its hollow and simplistic. Maybe next year....

These are my exact sentiments. 110%.

I feel like I'm playing how I percieve FIFA to be, of was, from what I remember.

Played 2 games. Player awareness off the ball is still almost non-existent, and now we have even fewer faces. Players with original faces have some weird cut off on their heads, bug probably
