That's a good read Klashman.I said it before, it depends on the time length and tactics.
So in one case Its a case of balancing 10-15 minutes so there is a reasonable enough resistance from the CPU.
In another case is you deciding how much realism do a REALLY want and should I have longer matches?
So its about us identifying what are Koanmi doning wrong and also if I'm asking too much from the settings I'm playing on.
Tactics again is essential. Two games on PES 2013 yesterday:
Colombia (me) vs Chile
West Ham vs Arsenal (me)
Both 30 minutes on Top Player (superstar is insane on 30 minutes)
The first game being the final of the Copa America, Chile I gave them their Aggressive 3-5-2 tactic with a very high line, lots of interchanging of positions and a times 7 players attacking the box. I needed to sit back, defend deep with a 4-5-1 and counter specifically with James Rodriguez, while Elkin Soto on the other flank was more of a workhorse who helped out.
I won 2-1, it was very hard, Chile are so hard to handle with this setup, so much interchange, they all do short passes between eachover and attack with such fluidity. Hard to hold down who to mark and where the danger comes from. I had a player sent off but defended deep and managed to hold on, the defining thing about this watch was Chile's intensity and how many 50/50 challenges where involved in the game, the midfield battle was so intense.
I'll upload more tactics soon for all teams in South America
Second was my Master League with Arsenal, The lineup I chose had lacked creativity without Carzola and Wilshere on purples, Only Rosicky alone at AM with Arteta behind him who is defensive minded with my stats. West Ham defended deep and essentially kicked and rushed to Vaz Te the lone man up to with Joe Cole supporting. It was hard to break them down, I played around with my tactics throughout, ended in a 2-2 draw with a last time equalizer from Chamberlin. Exciting very Premier league like game!
Two completely different matches, this is the best thing about PES in the last few years, its like playing a different videogame every match with how tactics work.
In the last week I've started playing a Copa Libertadores with 20 min matches. It's been great and I've had some real good games, with ebb and flow and plenty of time for tactical changes. I'm not so impatient for PES2014 now!
I'm looking forward to seeing your South American formations and tactics. Your tactics thread is the best bar none on here (hope I'm not being too much of an arse licker).
