I hope the "emotion" part doesn't mean the players look like they are making faces all the time. Some of the expressions glimpsed in this trailer look a bit Frankenstein.

Im excited, I tried FIFA again yesterday first time in ages and today PES 2013 feels far more like 'football', Is it just me that thinks PES 2013 is actually a good game? I can't wait for this years version as I finally sense this could be the year :...

No, you're not alone. PES2013 is a very solid football game that, for me, was badly let down by a couple of poor decisions, one being no league mode. I would have invested much more time in the game had Konami not fucked up so badly.

I must say though, Jenkey's patch has really given PES2013 a new lease of life.
 
These types of trailers very rarely tell us anything, I wouldn't try to gather much from it at this point.

Until we see gameplay footage then everything we know is just going to be based on Konami's/Adam's word (biased + unreliable), gaming media/journalists (rarely scrutinise or play the game to the lengths a lot of us would and are possibly biased) or CG trailers.

Even then, how the game feels to play in terms of how well it responds to your inputs and recreates what you have in your mind's eye is still going to be unknown until the demo.

Have some patience guys :D.

maybe they will make it like nba 2k closest crowd would be in 3d and the rest still 2d.
 
same hype as last year same bullshit, not the bit excited of what is coming up, prove me wrong konami, doubt that will happen.
 
That teaser is a nice glimpse of the past.

Can't take much from it though. But good marketing so far.

Mate i am PES fan, now i don't play any football game because i don't like PES 2013...

My opinion is that the FIFA 13 is much better than the PES 2013...

PES 2013 hasn't basic things of football, like realistic ball physics and good passing and shooting animations...FIFA 13 has more animations and realistic animations...

The only thing that i prefer in PES 2013 are the running animations...

KONAMI did many mistakes the last years...

For me this year is the first year of good PES after PES 6...The last 4 years were practice and training for KONAMI with pure and bad engine...

This year PES will be much better than FIFA...

PES 2011 was brand new engine and it wasn't groundbreaking. Anybody else remember those alpha-testers promotional write-ups,months before release on this forum about how perfect that game was about to be :)
 
Nope 2011 wasnt a new engine it was a remodified expanision of the dribbling and passing systems, Pes 2008 was also a modified version of the ps2 engine. This is the first time since PES 3 that there is an all new engine.
