I know it's just a teaser, there's not much to talk about from this video, but unlike the Fifa 14 video, this one is 100% in-engine, the "fox engine" written on the ball is there for a reason, they want us to know what we can expect this time from PES powered by Fox Engine, even tho it's too hard tell anything based on that video alone.

I found the physics contact pretty interesting, I think this is could be one of the huge improvements with Fox ENgine.

We're not far from Konami presentation at E3. Is it confirmed that Konami will show their stuff on 06/06 ?

It's look too good for current gen and too bad for next gen. I prefer first one .

P.S. what is " NICHION,Inc " something about the music or what ?

Nice trailer, nicely edited, nice use of classical music, so PES 2014 will be about emotions and the trailer raised good emotions.

But of course I'm cautious regarding the animation shown therein as I don't want to get my hopes up too high, considering the trailers of last years also promised way more than could eventually be delivered, remember the Ronaldo-trailer, or the Messi-trailer for PES 2011?

I googled it for you: "NICHION,Inc is one of Japan's largest and most successful music publishing company."

i give a colour little bit. and you can see adboards will be animating. :)

The crowds are VERY low poly, so I doubt that would be cutscene. Why would you have a cut scene with super low poly 3d crowd? Look at the video and just loop that section.

The pitch at 0:03 is extremely detailed. I'm not sure if this is ingame.
The cloth textures also seem to be extremely detailed (0:05 and 0:17).
Animated adboards at 0:19, maybe crowd choreographies?
"Get Stuck In! Come on!" and "Football is the beautiful game" banners at 0:03...
The crowd motion at 0:08 looks too uniform.

Did you see Fox Engine's tech presentation? Cloth textures are one of their main selling points.

Decent trailer but can't really take much from it. I'm looking forward to seeing more at E3 so it has done its job in that regard.

By the way, is the EEE thing a reference to E3 or is that part of the marketing strap-line for the game this year?

It's all about how the game plays really, isn't it, considering that's were Konami have fallen short in the last few years. Can't glean anything in regards to that from the trailer.

It's definitely ingame. And good animations. But it's just a little teaser. The real first taste of pes 2014 will be next week at Pre-E3 and E3 trailers

Definitely. The difference here is that previous PES trailers this generation have almost immediately highlighted the wooden animations and lack of fluidity whereas PES2014 looks to be a step forward in both areas.

That's provided this trailer is based on gameplay, of course, which we are told it is.

That fucking video, despite not revealing much, shits on a lot of stuff they have produced over the years lol

The more I think about it and the more (maybe stupidly) think it's all in game, at the very least the footballers' parts. The new engine is such a big deal, why would they bother with rendered stuff ?

i'm very satisfied with this trailer.

cannot wait for e3 and more news, pics and clips.

maybe it's too early to tell, but if everything goes right, then fifa might already be dead on PC.

The dribbling during 0:20-0:25, that's the closest thing to ingame footage in the trailer. Doesn't look like a new engine, the player model looks about the same as PES13's, unless that's just an animations demonstration.
