All PES games have been good in their own right, each with their own style of play. PES5 was class, but the dribbling really let it down. You know, that horrible shuffle the players make whenever you turn. The shooting was awesome though :)

Fluidity of animations is what lacks in current Pes
bring back that in Pes 2014 and we will see a huge step forward

Anxiously waiting for E3 gameplay trailer, it's a good indication about animation fluidity

Yes, new animation engine should bring more freedom and possibilities for control, which are direly needed, but I think even more important is to considerably improve the AI.

The AI is so lacking and one-dimensional right now in singleplayer that the only way Konami offers any challenge or variance at all is to script things.

I hope that we not only get a new engine for graphics, animation and physics but also a new AI-engine.

I remember the AI was better in PES 2008-09-10. Not amazing, but it was much more convincing than nowadays. What happened since PES 2011? It seems they allocated resources dedicated to the AI to improve other aspects, like the player control and some animations.

With the FOX Engine, PES Productions will have the chance to finally deliver a solid game without compromises. Things will only get better from now.

After watching the teaser 50 times, i'm really hope that to be current gen . Do not get me wrong, it looks great, but not for the Next gen .

from the short trailer you can see that animations are still the same, they have simply been brought over from 2013 and they still look very rigid. also look at how tense the muscles look, they just appear to be very stiff. not to mention the players shirts/shorts which dont move or fold like real fabric, they all look rigid to me. was this the hyped up engine? man it already looks worse than current gen fifa.

hopefully in 5 days when some gameplay footage is released i can finally say we can pass up on pes forever. this year will be konami's last attempt to recover a bit of their former glory and if they fail this year the whole franchise will stop sooner than later knowing fifa is already looking much much better.

 So much nonsense... it's scary. We have seen just a teaser with few seconds of footage and you're already acting ludicrous.

lol, dear god man, you got all this from a black & white 'teaser trailer' - wait for the proper trailer for gods sake

So we can expect the official PES 2014 trailer for E3 next thursday, can't we ? Just 5 days away...

Well shit, no Riazor in PES14 :( gutted Depor got relegated, and Valeron's last ever game... he was a beast in Master League back in the day! :)

Hopefully Konami have licensed the Segunda for PES14, would be awesome :D

But Real Sociedad in CL! Xabi Prieto finally on the big stage, that guy is a legend, he had the quality to go to better teams, but stuck in the second division with La Real. Very great team and fun.

True, forgot to mention that, really happy about Sociedad getting 4th, what a story. Completely agree about Xabi Prieto, a legend indeed :)

I had him & Valeron in my midfield on old PES ML's :D
