I hope they won't listen noobish feedbacks like "OMG passing is so hard please fix that Konami, OMG thourg balls don't work please fix that Konami,OMG game speed is too slow please fix that Konami" etc.. They need to trust themselves this time..Bye the way it will be my first orginal Pes game in this gen:P

Many people are saying "Konami correct the passes accuracy and precision, because in the game the passes aren't that accurate wich isn't realistic and bla bla bla" . Wich I think it's ridiculous.

Konami Brazilian manager Anibal Vera confirms licences for Liga Argentina, Liga Chilena, Copa Sudamericana and Recopa

A-F-K-MAZING NEWS THIS!! :D

jeepers all this positivity is making me uneasy.

Need to play this game and see if the AI has been fixed up. As nice as it is to have superb lighting and animations if Man city are going to sit deep and pump long throughballs behind my defenders for Aguero and Tevez to outrun my CBs who choose to wait for it to be too late before tracking back- I am going to be disappointed.

Ach, FIFA14 on X1 looked not bad at all to be fair. I guess the "problem" EA has at this E3 is that their new "only possible with ignite/new generation" comments don't hold up that well when compared to what we have been shown of PES2014 current-gen thus far.

I think if you showed the layman both sets of videos available for both games they would struggle to ID that each is for different generations of hardware. I guess that is a fairly good compliment for Konami.

Argentinian League, Chilean League, Copa Sudamericana (like Europa League) and Recopa (like Super Cup) confirmed!!!

The incompetence of Konami at marketing is really worrying. Last year for example, PES 2013 had all La Liga stadiums licensed, but I haven't seen a single TV, Internet or magazine advert mentioning that feature, even here in Spain, so it's possible lots of people didn't know about it and went directly to buy FIFA 13.

The next job offers at Konami should be for Marketing and UI/UX departments.

would be funny if they took out la liga serie a and premier league to acccomodate these new leagues ;)

personally I think it's great news.
I live in Argentina, in South America PES .. synonymous with fun.

I hope you have all leagues, English, Series A, spanish..
bundesliga maybe difficult, except Bayern Munich

more most complete game, much better.

expectations .. mode will work as kitserver, editing, and everything else.

sorry my RIDICULOUS ENGLISH :)

EA Sports should be scared. They should know that majority of players they have are actually Pro Evolution Soccer fans, disappointed in how the game panned out over the recent years.

Actually I think the majority of Fifa fans are people who would not in a million years go over to PES, no matter how much better it was, basically those who stuck with Fifa through the PS2 days. Of those who buy Fifa, how many go to forums to write their concerns, etc, like we do here? I doubt the number would reach 1 percent.

There are still a large chunk of PES-players for EA to lose back to PES, and I think this fall it will happen. I was dissappointed at first there would be no next-gen PES but after seeing glimpses of next-gen Fifa I really don't mind at all. And that Ignite engine thing you said, Info0, made sense, especially since next-gen Madden looks brilliant, but the rest looks underwhelming.

Sad but true. FIFA has always outsold PES even when PES was by far the better football game (pre-2007).

The likes of us on football gaming forums are the minority - we want an intelligent, realistic, well-paced football sim.

Most gamers' expectation of a football game is more aligned to that of idiots like KSI - fast, direct, end-to-end football. Realism is a secondary concern.

In the UK, no Premier League license, no PES. It always been this way. That's why Konami is focusing on another markets like Latin America or Asia.

Hexagonals are back! Now they need to ditch the overall ratings system and go back to judging players on individual stats again!

I'm already on the edge of moving back into the ML thread next year, felt homeless floating outside it this year.

It's mostly like that here in Iceland as well. I hear the arguments already.

Me: Guys, PES is better than Fifa this year. You should try it.

Fifas: F*CK YOU FIFA HAS PERFECT LICENCES AND IS THEREFORE 300 PERCENT BETTER THAN PES WHICH HAS ALWAYS BEEN SHIT

Well, you know, if PES turns out to be the better game.

Its the same here, I'm the only PES player in my local 6th Form, about 100 boys.. I'm the 1%!

The annoying thing is, if you ask them if they've ever played PES they say "no, I don't need to its obviously shit!"

ı don't think so.Yes there are bunch of noobs like you mentioned but most of the football fans want a realistic football game. That's why Fifa is miles away from Pes in the last years(Sales) Just compare Fifa 09-10-11-12 with Pes 09-10-11-12.To be honest Fifa has been more realistic till today..Especially WC 2010 was the most realistic game ı have ever played...On the other side Fifa 13 is the most arcade Fifa game in this gen.(Online)

Hello guys, for latin american fans of pes, the next pes 2014 have the argentinian league, chile league, re cup south america, and south american cup, also will include argentinian and chile commentators, all of this was confirmed for a brazilian guy is an ejecutive of Konami.

It's pretty simple really, casual fans never take the game seriously. I had mates that played PES on beginner, just so, you know, they could win matches.

This is especially true on consoles where people want nothing more than a game they can pick up and play with their favourite team, especially online.

PES ain't that kind of game.

I think completely opposite. In 2008-2012 era when ı was playing Fifa and asking my friends to come and play Fifa because it was a better game, all of them told me that Pes is more simple game and that's why we're playing it.Man, look at Pes 2009-2010 or others.Just select Barca and nobody can stop your Messi.Just use pas, shoot and sprint buttons during all the game...

I will respectfully disagree with this. Realism is very subjective and FIFA lacks realism is many ways, one example is how players don't use their correct foot to play the ball.

First and foremost, FIFA owes its success to its marketing team and the fact that it has traditionally offered a large number of licensed leagues. I'm not disagreeing that FIFA has advanced massively in recent years, but it still attracts the same casual audience in the main.

I'm in the same boat, however I have managed to get a
Couple of them to convert, but the thing that keeps them away is the fact they can't be bothered sitting there trying to find the right option file and then copy 300+ individual files (I know you can copy folders now). They just want a game where they don't have to worry about all that.

That's what it comes down to mostly and Im fine with it. I still prefer PES.

I agree with you Jamezinho, the big majority of FIFA fans are the ones who can't stand seeing Chelsea called London FC, or Liverpool as Merseyside West ..
FIFA offered them much more licensed teams and leagues, also the Manager mode is better than Master League ..
but in gameplay and graphic and players movement, PES is and was always better, even in the disgrace shit PES2008 ..

but, unfortunately, FIFA got more popularity for the licenses ..
for example the facebook page "Troll Football" are always trolling PES and always concider FIFA as their best entertainment in their life ..

Why EA shows only replays ?? FIFA animations never look good on highlights and replay, here with new engine is same story , even in some parts look worst that FIFA current gen...
