I think there is no Speed Merchant card anymore. Robben's runs looked normal to me (except player ID animations). Finally if you ask me.

I was just about to say that Robben looks just like himself in that gameplay, the git.

On last one you can clearly see that Celtic has 4 wins in a row in SCOTTISH LEAGUE. Also you can see that Anperotti (obviously not licensed version of Ancelotti) says that PSG will fight for win in UEFA CL

Something overlooked but very important is sound.

It sounds to me as if they have finally learnt not to have every touch of the ball make a sound but I still worry about the quality of SFX, esp. the crowd. The chants are always horrible and the cheers when goals are scored really go through me - it's actually used at the end of the trailer unfortunately.

I'm liking the animations, I hope the SFX live up to them.

I'm not ready to say the King is back without knowing whether the infuriating control mechanism has been done away with either - things like the wrong players running towards the ball, on-rails movement, lack of control etc.

The look of the game is promising. That's all that can be said atm imo. People have said the King is back before from just looking at gameplay videos. I don't want to get my hopes up too high and be disapointed when I actually play

In your opinion what do u think will happen to become a legend mode will they change it or lave it the same?

Yep, been hearing that for the last 6 years around this timeframe and look how that's worked out:))

Probably a good idea to keep a level head and maintain a restrained feeling of optimism until you have actually played the game;)

I don't know, Konami is unpredictable. My hunch is they'll introduce something new to the mode, but it's just a hunch.

I don't care about BAL mode anyway. Only enjoy football games playing with another human. Playing with AI get me bored quickly (be it PES or FIFA).
That's why something like community mode is my favorite mode.

Pace of the game and CPU play was great in the gamespot demo. I also hate the graphical team formation display, it is beyond time to change that.

Hope to hear about major improvements in FL/ML. There are better be third kits/mix match kits and snow! :)

Just built a new Z87 rig and can't wait for this on the PC!

Hmmm not completely. One of Robben's biggest trademarks is the tight shirt. PES 2013 used to have it, I can't understand why would Konami take that out, but it seems they haven't implemented it yet, which is kind of strange to me since they are showing all these Bayern Munich videos and Robben is not using his tight techfit jersey.


P.S: I NEED to see Messi in action!!! I hope they've improved his PlayerID because it wasn't recreated so good on PES 2013.
 
Almost everyone who have play the game talk about button press delay, and on Masuda videos, he lose easy the ball after bad dribbling and reaction .That can make online mode complete mess.......................i really don't like that.. Looks like dejavu :X and my big nightmare...
PES 2010... grrrrr .....even the name make me sick..

As i said a lot of pages ago, you are a man worth to be trusted :D
I am really excited, every news so far got me more and more happy. Now, after the news that the league mode is back, i need only 2 more good news and i am sold. The custom league mode so that i can choose to play for example a league of 10 teams, and and possibility to coach national teams in master league :)
 
Until I see some of CPU AI I'm not getting excited. Beautiful graphics, atmosphere and fancy faces mean nothing if you can't get a teammate to stop hiding behind an opponent, or a full back 'deliberately' playing strikers onside through the middle.
 
The whole "gameplay looks great" is nice to see but it could have been in every pes for the last 5 years if konami had of been bothered, you can make the AI play anyway you want by just using a pes editor for 10 mins, the gameplay stats have always been too high so the AI players have mostly been superhuman, add the scripting to the mix and you can see where it all went wrong gameplay wise. Looking at the new videos id say someone sat down and actually tried to balance the game out and slow it down while also added
Error by dropping the passing and dribbling stats. Pity it took a whole generation of pes before they realised this, weve been doing it for years on all the stuff ive worked on

My prediction is already coming true :SMUG: It will be similar to FIFA 08 button delay because they want the smooth transitions between animations. FIFA started to cheat with the transitions in 09 and forward to make it more responsive. PES will probably go through the same path.

button delay with smooth animations or
quick transitions with no feeling of inertia or weight?

It's extremely difficult to reach a balance between these two.

You may well prove to be right about PES 2014. At least the transitions between animations look good in the videos.
