It looks really great, animation for the footwork is awesome, but I hope that Konami takes a lot of effort to make sure individuality shines to the max.

Currently it seems most players have the same animations, but I hope that nearing final build, built in individuality makes sure that every player has his own animations and ways to run, walk, jog, treat the ball... and that skills regarding ballcontrol vary greatly and realistically.

And of course I hope that AI will be great, it would be a disaster if we get amazing graphics and animations and the AI is still as lame and dumb and needing cheating/scripting to pose a challenge as it currently is.

And I hope that basic stuff like playerswitching, reactions of players to loose balls, realtime stamina... are fixed.

I actually got quite a different feeling, especially with the Santos players, they looked completely different in motion from each other.

Did I not say to u guys u will love it when u see pes move first time, so no need to get upset about the game being sht from few screen shots and slow mo black and white vids?

Well expect something big once u get ur hands on the demo first time, it is difficult but enjoyable, so it needs a little bit of adjusting. But trust me again guys when i say this will be one big game for us to enjoy.

It's probably not too late, more a case of whether Konami can be bothered to do it. They probably think their UI is fine (which it is in fairness) and a rework is low on their list of priorities.

The match UI is only really a graphical overlay so I would imagine the job of redesigning it isn't a massive task.

Ah, you're probably right.

Said it before but I love how clean and sharp the graphics look now. Reminds me of PS2 PES:SMUG:

This is nice and all, but y'all know where this game is gonna shine don't you? Yep, that's right, on the PC :P I bet that in less than one month the PC editing community will have everything figured out and will be able to increase the LOD to ridiculous levels.

Clearly on PC as well.

MGS V for PC  was i late this Konami party ? :OOOH:

So PES has continuous play for throw-in if the ball near to the sideline.. i just manage to see it. lol

Whats with all the fu**ing arrows, rainbows and letters all over the field ???

The ps1/ps2 hud were perfect..

Looks great nonetheless, can't wait for the demo, and for an option to turn that horrendous hud OFF

Absolutely. PES2013 looks pin-sharp when using the LOD Mixer tool. It's really quite impressive. PES2014 will look exceptional. I wouldn't go back to playing PES on consoles again. :))

Of course, there is no reason why Konami couldn't include their own LOD settings as an integral part of the settings.exe. Perhaps they will, although I very much doubt it. Their standard LOD settings are far too conservative given the undemanding nature of PES on GPUs.

Yeah I think this also skews my perspective when looking at FIFA and PES graphics on video's as im not as impressed (especially FIFA which looks very cartoonish) due to running a modded version of PES 2013 which graphically is probably as good as what Ive seen from PES 2014, imagine what the likes of Jenkey will be able to conjure up with this years edition?! :...

Much happier after seeing the new video's posted here. Whoever mocked up the revamped HUD design - I like the 2nd option.

I can't wait to create my own camera angle and see the visuals in all their glory :) Hopefully they've gotten rid of all the keeper belly flops now lol

Who the hell needs "next-gen" when you have the Almighty PC... This game is going to be awesome !

EA/Fifa can go screw themselves with their crappy game and crappy Ignite Engine.

With the new engine, I would love for Konami to overhaul their edit mode and make sharing option files much easier.I would love that the option files would contain several parts for shirts, shorts, logos, socks ... So that everything could be edited separately and as a player you would choose which team you'd wanna edit one by one

Happy it's back but not going to congratulate Konami over this.

Same tbh (we agree on a lot of things it seems ;) ) because something so basic should never have been scripted off the game in the first place.I hope they'll spare us the embarrassment of advertising it as if it was genius idea (just like Microsoft advertised you could let your friends and family members play on your game :CONFUSE:)

Yessss league mode is back! Hope it's a signal to erradicate magic boots.

According to a latin american trusting WE blog, tomorrow konami will announce the demo release date.

About the HUD, for me, less graphics different of the scoreboard and TV logo(and radar), is better and realistic. But why not Konami to give use several options to chose? Way cant be like... 10 HUDS , or more, and with DLC to update them, every league must have own scoreboard , graphic and bars . Why not from Konami to make edit mode for Scoreboards, huds and etc ?And every one to can build own one, to have option for share . Its not that hard do be made , they do that for stadiums . And they shuld have real TV logo, why not with FOX sports + FOX engine will be great .

The ball physics are a massive step forward from PES 2013. The ball on a string effect seems to be gone, and the movement on the ground, in the air, and when coming into contact with a body is improved.

Running animations may need work.

All in all, happy with the improvements. Can't wait for the demo.
