PES 2014 Discussion Thread

The main key to play PES 2014 is.. lob through ball.. and have a very dangerous attack.

Because of a bit messed up defensive line, their awareness, and GK on 1vs1.

I realize it when I win 8-4 againts crystal palace in my ML with swansea.

Which stadiums have you chosen Chimps? Some stadiums seem to speed up the gameplay. I've never had a problem with flickering or slowdown but does 1080i really make a difference? Most people have said it runs better on 720p.

The Konami and Stadium of light stadiums seem decent in the master league. The stad de paris seems to be create unresponsive and stuttering game play.

The San Siro seems too faster than others.

I am playing in the french league and by default I think all french teams are set to the konami stadium.
 
Can anyone confirm if the "heart" works? Scored winning goal in additional time but can not see any change in the game plan menu after I scored the goal. Playing with AS Roma and only Totti and Balzareti are constant yellow while the other players are blue all the time.
Shots on goal are really bad this year. It is impossible to score from distance, which means that I play the same way all the time to score a goal. It is not typical PES and it has never been.

Don't even bother, HEART is not working.

It was suppose to work while in game per a player performance and also after the game per the same thing.

I have just finished my ML with Madrid with all players on Blue, I started with them on Yellow/Red for like 5 matches, then all went blue forever although I won the league and went in CL finals.

You've had it with this year's edition, i can understand that...

But maybe now you should stop searching evidence everywhere on the net to prove your point.

You have made your point here, IMO you should mail this to Konami if you really want to make a difference or try to change something. Here it is completely useless and boring....

Agreed. Recommend the next time he breaks something in a petulant and childish rage he doesn't post a picture of it on the internet. It's indicative of much deeper personal issues. In fact, I advise he seek help for such behaviour now, before he gets older an it gets you into trouble , as it exhibits poor judgement and is not compatible with a healthy lifestyle for himself and others.

Impossible to score from distance? Exactly what do you mean by distance? I've scored dozens of goals from outside the area from the 18-25 yard range on the 360 version, professional difficulty, normal shooting. Some into the top corner, some along the ground and a few chips. In terms of 25 yards +, maybe 2 or 3 with the knuckle ball but in real life, how many goals (other than free kicks) do you see from 30 yards + in an average season from your favorite team in real life across almost 40 games?

Don't get these people who say the CPU never fouls. The CPU has given away more free kicks, yellow cards and pk's than I have in over 150 games. It must be the style of play some people adopt.

This game has its faults but it seems like some people are just on a bloody witch hunt with this game.

Haha, what the hell, dude? That's way over the line, in my opinion. Suggesting someone having deep personal issues and that they seek help for it because of something like that? I agree that the same critique over and over again re-hashed gets boring, I've contributed my fair share, but to suggest that someone may have personal problems for something they post on the internet is downright insulting.

Oh, well, let's not turn this into that kind of discussion. Just wanted to give my point of view.

Well, it's a serious issue. Anger disorder, more properly known as Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED) is a psychological condition characterized by sporadic episodes of aggression, violence, and destructive behavior. I'm concerned for his and others well being.

Anyway, like you said, let's get back to enjoying PES 2014. Full manual is where it's at for me:))
 
I agree that anger disorder i serious. Look at Honome, you don't want to turn into that mayne. Seek help before Honome disorder arrives, men.
 
Agree that breaking a game disc in a rage is a sign of deeper lying issues. 'Look what the game made me do' doesn't really wash, sounds a bit Chris Brown to me.

That said, Devil May Cry did make me throw a tangerine out of the window when I was at Uni. So if you value your life, probably don't make eye contact with me in the street.

Several years ago I had just got home from work and heard a loud knock on the door. I opened it and it was a police woman.

I was a little shocked at first, then she asked me if I had seen anyone around out the back of the house. I told her I hadn't and then she delivered one of the most ridiculous lines I have ever heard "we are investigating an incident where an old couple in your street had a lemon thrown through their front window and it hit the man on the head while he was eating his tea"
 
I still don't know how he broke the disc?! Like he Uri Gellerd it? How did he make it change shape when he broke it.

I once bit a controller very hard.....Then threw it across the room...:CRY:
 
I would take it easy on the guy who broke the game's CD, it might be an "age" thing!! My son is 14 and I always hear him going crazy playing games like call of duty or grand theft auto ( i guess he shouldn't be playing that one).
 
Can't break mine I was daft enough to buy the digital download
The game is well and truly broken anyway without smashing it

I don't spend years saving for a disc, I can buy as much as I want.

That stupidity at it best, what tells you my age or mental health by breaking a disc? When something is useless, you are free to break it. You are the one who needs help by not seeing what wrong with PES 2014.

I see you that you can also Google. You should maybe seek help yourself for praising a broken game.

I broke that disc as a review for Konami, telling them it was a piece of ...

You all now made it personal, if you were embarrassed by the broken disc, you should have just walk away from commenting on it. No wonder one game is breaking sales records every year and the other one is going down every year and you'll tell me you are smarter than those 15 millions people who are queueing for it.

Feel free to kick me out, 'cause that all PES knows these days, showing people the door. Well there is a great open door around the corner.
 
I'm sure I would never ever break any disc, no matter how bad the game is, it's a bit sad for me. I 'd rather give it away to any kid without anything to play. Or trade it at any store.

The most effective protest against Konami is simple. Don't buy the game. That's it.
 
You post that pic in the forum, if you dont want people to criticizes your actions then you should think first before posting that picture...

People are not only praising the game, i saw Ipswich69 and gerd criticizing the game several times. But they also praising the core the game and the possibility that the game have, and thats ok in my book.

I laughed at FIFA. Well, I can say I want their Goalkeepers. Mostly and how AI can keep ball at times (tho would have to bump AI to World Class to really see it).

KONAMI please, fix your game as I did enjoy it tad more, but some of broken mechanics ruined the fun for me :(.

That seems unnecessary. I think just about everyone has had their say, as you have, and we can all move on from this very slight detour.
