Did anyone ever directly say kits get dirty? I may have missed that but all I've seen is Konami saying some vague comment about weather affecting the game or something...

As for the nets, further proof that Konami's designers are a bunch of lunatics. They spend hundreds of hours modelling this and that to be authentic and then decide to model the nets like they'd be in a game from 10-15 years ago.

And why the lack of info on ML? I don't like their comments that it has been simplified, there's nothing to do in ML as it is!

No, but it's 2013 and if a football game can't model nets convincingly then questions have to be asked.

Agreed. Not to mention how much people have moaned about the nets issue and still they are not up to par.

The game looks like it will make a lasting impression on many people because it just looks great. Can't wait to try it.

PES 2014 will introduce 3rd kits - either in-game or via DLC. Weather will affect matches and kits will get muddy: http://bit.ly/17Nk8IU

Adam retweeted the first post btw.

The return of the steel cages! :APPLAUD:

Did you ever play old gen Fifa? Those nets are what you call steel cages.

Am I the only one who couldn't care less about the net physics?

Modern day net physics are perfectly adequate for me. The ball hits the net, the net bulges; what more do you people want?? Net physics in the PS2 era were rubbish - the nets looked and acted like steel cages. Now, they're fine.

What is it with forums and their obsession with nets??

There isn't any fancy combinations when performing those flicks, tricks, or bursts; i think people are over complicating things. The right sticks controls weight shifts, step overs, feints and the left stick controls the movement of the ball; it is that simple. In pes 2013, we already know we can speed burst using r1 and left analogue stick; all they added was the feint with the right stick. We also know that clicking r3 on the first touch will result in taking the ball up in the air; using the left stick just takes the *air* ball to another direction. They merely simplified and improved the controls of Pes 2013, resulting in a more flexible and intuitive first touch, feint and burst dynamics.

Doesn't just tapping the shoot button result in a low shot in previous pes? I've never really dragged the stick back for a low shot before during the ps2 days when i first started playing Pes.

People care.
I just want realistic physic with goalnet. It looks like plastic cage for God sake. I want to have feel that i score goal for real, and not like i shooting on this:

Every aspect of game need to be real. I dont care about boots or faces, you dont care about nets.People have opinions, you shoud accept that.
And stop ironic comments about nets.

About the advanced through pass number, what was so different from the usual thing done in previous games ?

Those nets looks shit like in Fifa.

It seems to me that you guys are always exclusively giving focus on the bad aspect of the game, come on...

Overall, that video was pretty good to me. I really like it. Animations are indeed on a whole new level, evrything flows very nice and smooth on that video.

I didn't even look at the net...

Some people love net movements. Probably the same people that can get lost in the beauty of flowing water.

Someone asked Adam if Havok technology would be used for net physics as well. He replied with "No, why would it. what a waste of that tech would be." Goes to show its not a priority.

The net physics are okay for me. Based on the last 5 years, I'm concerned about the gameplay quality, which we know nothing about really. Incredible net physics + shit gameplay = bad joojoo.

All he had to say was "no, it won't be used for nets" rather than belittling the question in his usual style.
