DirectX 9.0c compatible video card. 512MB Pixel Shader 3.0 (NVIDIA GeForce 7900 or AMD ATI Radeon HD2600 or better) #PES2014

NOTE: This is for the preview build. Looks like I'll be set using RadeonPro/A simple OC. Btw, ANYONE know whether PES is more GPU or CPU dependant? I believe it was more GPU dependant, right?

We'll be releasing 4 more tutorial videos before gamescom 2013, with exclusive insights to the new heart system, attacking, defending and the all new manual Goal Keeper controls! Catch the latest gamescom 2013 news in our Konami Europe Facebook page!

Lookin good, men.

Edit: Cage nets will break some people's hearts though. Hang in there fellas.

Anyone know what advanced shooting is? Is it just normal shooting but that they have changed so that if you hold back it means low? No more pressing :triangle: after :square:?

How can the nets (steel cable netting apparently) possibly be THAT bad? And if they plan on fixing them before the game comes out, why release a promo video showing nets that are that bad? Either way, Konami marketing is simply pathetic, yeesh.

Yeah, that must be what it is. No idea how that would be advanced though! Quite like that way of doing it though. Takes some getting used to, I expect.

The passing is interesting. The circle on the ground is in game, I think. Intrigued. Need this demo.

Im pretty sure the advance shot is similar to the advance through ball, allowing the user to actually curve the shots, play low shots, etc. I wonder why Konami or Fifa never thought about this earlier; i mean the square buttons always directs the shot towards goal right? Which means pulling the shot back when pressing square should create a low shot. There is always that delay where we just wait for it to happen when we press shoot, pass or long pass. The controls seem so much more simplified and intuitive; so much better than the old control scheme. This is definitely a step in the right direction; i've always thought the control scheme needs to be improved to introduce new depth in the gameplay; it just provides a better foundation to add new things. It really looks like we got a good game in our hands this year; i can't wait for the demo.

I think its just part of the video. No need to worry...

I'm not sure who scores in the top GIF but it sure is making me hungry with those watermelons he is carrying after he scores lol

The video looks promising and it's good that there'll be more coming. I just wish Bhatti would give us more info on ML and edit mode. I would like to know about the new player attributes are, particularly the new GK stats. Maybe next wee......

Games looks good. Although you need to have 37 fingers to do the burst!

Im a big fan of nets - the nets in previous versions have been appalling but I like the look of these. I just wish different grounds had different net tension. But they wont.

This was actually already an option in PES5. If you shot and pressed any backward direction on the d-pad you would hit the ball with different trajectories, I used it all the time. But that was a long time ago, and I will not be using it in PES 2014 (manual shooting all the way) -- scoring a goal whilst aiming in the complete wrong direction is not for me in this day and age.

Something that I don't understand (and might be hopeful of) from the video is whenever you just press the left stick your player does these ridiculous flicks. Now, if this always happens, then that is simply retarded, however, it is quite possible that that only happens when you press the left stick with force, so possibly if you move the left stick with more gentler movements then the player would dribble gently to match it. That would be awesome for depth of movement.

It's not. It's in-game.

There are now 5 Pass Assistant options along with 3 individual options for shooting and through balls (basic, advanced, manual). That was the advanced option.

He's probably on about the visual assistance though. Not the question whether or not the options will be in game.

Am I the only one who couldn't care less about the net physics?

i dont´care about nets too, although i do care about some minor details like where are the dirt kits? where is the rain and how it affects the pitch, but like i sayed these are minor issues.

Pretty sure he said dirty kits occur when it rains only. Not fully certain, though.

Can't you see the r3 button held for those flicks? Or am I the only one?
