If that's true (which I doubt), it wouldn't be enough to make me buy Fifa 14. I don't buy games for licences.

Very strange thing nowadays this fact of UCL license sharing. This worldwide campaign about acquiring CL around is something very hot. EA plays like godfather..:JAY:

As long as we have a demo to play I wouldn't mind an extra week's wait on the game. I'll be playing GTA V and listening to the new Dream Theater album :P

Back home after this wonderful day with KONAMI France!
I do not usually put my feelings on paper so I'll do my best to be clear and precise!
So in sweltering heat Parisian buddy and I arrived in the French offices of the Japanese firm.

After being greeted by superbly Chems and Nicolas (two super cool guys that I salute the way) we go straight to the heart of the subject standing in front of the big TV, controller in hand, and without doubt one second that we would see. We launch the game directly and there is the slap.
Slapped first by the beautiful view we have on the stage, the latter being perfectly modeled
Then slapped by the quality of the lawn, just sumptuous and more detailed than ever! Yet it is on current-gen (yes I checked, it was a PS3 that showed it all :cogne: ).
When players are finally entering the field, I have only two words in mind: Fox Engine!
The engine makes the stunningly beautiful game, players incredibly well modeled, and the play of light incredibly realistic, unbelievable but true! Fox Engine is beautiful is good, eat it.

It's gorgeous ... and almost perfect! Aliasing a little this and a fairly low framerate at times on the players' entrance. But I think it is unnecessary to point the finger at those blackheads because it is only the E3 version is a little less than 70%, then necessarily to have a definitive opinion on this level it will wait a little!
Speaking of black point, we will discuss things that annoy. That is to say, things that are correct according to me:

- Goalkeepers horribly low duel. It is not impossible to see a guard pass completely through a shot, without even trying to intercept! A note though, they are very good on the shooting distance reasonable.

- A latency this can prevent a player touches the ball quickly or to take first line. And a small slow changes in some simple directions from the players, which can be quite frustrating.

- Defenders sometimes totally lose control of their body and leave generously pass their opponents (they are nice anyway).

- The referee, who is more generous than the defenders mood, sometimes can not let go of cardboard on tackling murderers!

- Passes too much in my hand. Even attendance 4, must be very precise not to send the ball into touch. The pro-manu tell me that it's better, but I think it reduces the accessibility of the game because he does not forget that it is PEGI 3 (I'm the only one who can not read "PEGI 3 "without the big voice who says?) and a kid will not necessarily have the patience of determining each of his passes!

Given the number of CR that you have read before mine, I think it is worth remembering that all the black spots mentioned above are obviously too big to not be fixed in a newer version of the game!

Now let's talk gameplay. Honestly, the first match I was completely lost. Indeed, the game is really different and must be handled for a short time before adjusting to the new PES 2014 gameplay offered. As stated Chems before me, "it's confusing." And because the inertia of the players you will think 10 times before accelerating! To cite a few examples:

- The ball was almost out, I fully accelerated with my defender to recover and once there, I wanted to direct me back to leave, but he drove the ball for a corner, a victim of its own weight!

- If you go ahead at full speed on an attacking player, and you have the misfortune to miss your tackle, you'll be content to watch the back of your opponent's turn as sharply at full speed is now impossible!

On top of all that, a shoulder duel between Neymar and Dante always result in victory for the one who has been able to manage the weight of the player. Realism! Proper management of the acceleration (2x R1) can help to surprise the opponent by throwing a challenge to several meters!
Some skeptics, filled with fears, think that change is too sudden but fear not. Everything has been perfectly designed to increase the level of realism without losing fun.

Finished the upper body remains motionless during speedvault leg, finished the quirks that give intrinsic "robot" PES effect for years now. In a gesture, it is clear that the body of the player is concerned, and the whole is FLUID! When a player is stopped now, he hops, body feint etc ... what he saw, and that's going beau.On in the replay menu every 2 minutes to contemplate the actions we went out and among other things, the beauty of the game
There are now several animations for sliding tackle, I even saw a defender try everything on the knee by bending to retrieve the ball of the heel!

Engine collision it is very clean. It is clear that the ankles are attached by a foot drags for example, and falls are always justified by the body parts that have been in contact! Players are finally "solid" and dig more into the ground, it is the spikes that will.

The ball physics is really baffling and exudes realism! Concerning the True Ball Tech, you really feel that the ball is a separate entity and the players fight for its preservation. Several times I've seen players try to get the ball to the ground three times after a ball in height, or downright type knee to control!

Something new discovery Chems By manually controlling the goalkeeper can decide when and how he will try to stop the ball! Let me explain: in the manner of FIFA, the player can now choose to have a normal tap or dip a shot. This shows that even the system goalkeeper has been revised, and for 11vs11 online must be someone who takes the road!

Now for the technical part gestures. The possibilities are far from being limited ... a stick to swing the weight in one direction, and the second to stick to the desired direction. You can do that at 360 °, so the finished gestures pre-made! Everything that comes out of your imagination and believe me, you'll even scared to see the range of tricks now feasible. The kick feint can now also be used for technical skills of world-class: I saw Robben make a feint strike while sliding a little ball to put it in a reasonable position and then strike! We can even, on a control, the ball brushing the outside of the foot and pass over us lob the opponent we had in the back and leave it in the wind. Yes, the tricks can now output as first-line and even more than that, in the technical gesture can decide to pass: a legend says you can make a roulette Marseille and finish in one pass! Needless to say, the trimmings of a leg Neymar will be more destructive than Manuel Neuer as the inertia plays an important role even in the rush! Everything is still very modest, the most tricks are harder to get out.

The player ID is always well marked: A Robben in action is quite recognizable. Wait to see what it will level line ball to Messi or atypical parades some lighthouses keepers.

I was afraid of the visual aid of the free-kick but ultimately, it is not so abused because it can move quickly enough or where the guard you want while the opponent is. But it remains that the thing itself is ugly and adds a side too arcade for my taste to the game!

In conclusion, I'm scared to see how much we could all take our foot if a primitive version of the game! Fox Engine wins his bet with skill and provides us with a visual quality beyond anything we've seen yet! KONAMI has managed to ensure that the game has a more sedate pace, but it becomes downright annoying in so far. In addition, I do not feel like playing a game, I played soccer. And my words are justified as the game is realistic.
I must admit that I tried to see everything with hindsight, but when something beyond our expectations, it is hard not to be excited! I will soon have the opportunity to try a more successful version of the game and I'm sure we will have a revolution.
Believe me, the license has a great future ahead of it and you can really trust Kei Masuda and what we concocted from his home in the land of the rising sun.

I've probably forgotten a lot of things, so do not hesitate to ask questions!

Are these the stadiums in PES 2014? (more to be added via DLC)
http://pesnews.net/pes-2014-lista-d...cer-2014.f6e5eb3110ef6afe455cf50a8e055f22.htm

Does the Demo come in August? There is no date though.

Pathetic selection of English stadiums there - only three stadiums that actually exist. I wish Konami could get the Premiership licence instead of La Liga! Still, lots of stadiums in general, so I don't think it'll be long before someone takes care of the Premiership side of things. :)

Edit: The game sounds great going by that write up; the only thing I'm concerned about is the keepers. Everything else sounds amazing.

Ι think it will be on 13 August and E3's code...

For me it's not bad beacause the PES has a lot of fans and it is a sport game...

So i don't care about the code of demo..

Why are you guys assuming the Demo is going to come out on a Tuesday with so much confidence?
Have PES lastest year's demos come out on Tuesdays?

"The Master League additionally will offer managers the possibility to lead the national squad or other clubs" - Kei Masuda.

Again another review that points to the keeper flaws in the E3 code.

Seriously if this is present in the gamescom code then we have bad keepers again which will stop me from buying.

tired of matches being ruined by keepers on pes.

Now people will say im being pessimistic, im not i just want good keepers.

Looks a bit like some of them are trying to do a 'Team Bayern' huddle, while the others are thinking 'wtf are they doing?'

The bottom image is a rendered pic.
If you take a screenshot of the HD gameplay videos that are out there you'll see it's not THAT amazing. There are a few differences between the rendered image and the one from the actual game.
