Well, i think it's a lot less than in pes 2012
in pes 2012 every opposing player, even D2 players, even at professional, could go through your defence and dribble through your players like Messi does. That was highly unrealistic. In pes 2013 the CPU is fairly predictable, they almost always use long or short through balls to counterattack. When it happens, i just make sure to use hold up play.

Player growth in pes 2013 ml is wrong. Almost every player reaches 80-85 overall, it's better to turn it off and players form will work the same way as it was on, no differences.

Yeah it's on Xbox Live to download for £25. Way too steep for a game that came out in September.

On a different note, I popped the game into my 360 for the first time in absolutely ages yesterday. I got to the 44th minute before popping the game back out and playing Sleeping Dogs instead.

I spent that entire half camped in the COM's final third, before a break away saw the COM hit that constant 50 yard ball into the corner flag to run on to (forgot this is PES2013's only tactic) and it hit a weak shot straight at my keeper. He caught the ball, then inexplicably it slipped out from his hands again while he was just standing there. Next, he fell on top of the loose ball as it dropped underneath him, and as he did so his trailing leg swung round and knocked the ball into his own net with his shin.

PES was turned off immediately.

That wouldnt affect injuries at all, player growth just means developing stats I believe.

Yeah, I was speaking to a mate about it and I think it's April Fools too, even Adam Bhatti tweeted about it and later removed it, I deffo think it was an April Fools joke, or at least I bloody hope so :P

I think it's possible to make PESEdit work with the Steam version, you just need to move the game files to another directory and create a registry entry so the installer knows where to install the patch. The Steam functionality will get lost then of course.

i would not put anything past these idiots konami.
pes2013 is a scripted joke and at times, an insult to peoples intelligence.
whoever tests these games before release, is earning money under false pretences

play a pass to put my forward thro on goal, all of a sudden the catch up bug kicks in and he magically slows down -joke!!!
my defender starts to come across for a loose ball. guess what? up pops the magic invisible wall, that stops him getting the ball joke!!
then there is the good old AI. a ball gets deflected and goes near two of your players, but player switching will not select them, you cannot select them also. so they remain under AI control,what do they do? nothing absolutley nothing, except maybe back away or run away from the ball. again a joke!!
pls tell me i am wrong and its just a figment of my imagination.

and don't get me started on gks 1v1s and gk throw outs!!

Hi not sure if I'm posting in the right place but few things I can't get the hang of........

How do I pull on oppositions shirts?

How do I move towards a pass to receive the ball? Or when you cross a ball how do I get my player to move to get on the end of it?

Finally, how do I intercept the ball?

Hope you can help, I'm playing PES 13 on the xbox.
 
Playing Pes 2012 version 1.00 now and enjoying it much more than Pes 2013. Speed differences, individuality, feel of the game, pretty much everything but shooting is more satisfying than 2013. Damn you Konami. Once in a month or so I try Pes 2013 but its just pure shite everytime.

Tried going online and the lobbies are empty. Sat and waited for 30 minutes for a game before giving up, there was just 3 or 4 private ones going on. PES6 used to have ten UK lobbies at 75%+ capacity even after PES 08 was out!

Pes 2012 is even more frustrating and scripted than pes 2013. I don't know what are you talking about.
 
I am trying my best to play a master league at the moment. God I wish the inter-face was remotely interesting to look at. Jesus it's bad.

On the pitch though I'm having some fun again, although you really do have use your own imagination when it could comes to creating some immersion in the master league.

It could have been so much better with a bit of love and care gone into it! I just wish it at least looked like pes 2010 with it's beautiful and varied pitch textures which added a layer of freshness; as it felt like you were actually playing in a new stadium during your master league.

I also wish player development was good, why did they mess this up. Because at least then it would provide a bit of depth and immersion to see your players get better in certain areas; rather than current redundant over-development mess of players in such period of time mode.
 
Apparently there is going to be a 1.04 patch on the 25th April, they made a fix in ML Online about Goalkeepers contract running out and a team playing with 10 players instead of 11 and "various other improvements to the gameplay experience" or whatever that shit they normally come out with is :)

Also, on the 25th April Konami will be adding the Copa Libetadores 2013 mode to the game, which is pretty cool :D
