Has anyone started in MLO yet? I will need to setup some tactics and formations that work for me. Would be good to chit chat about that and good signings soon too.

Day off and I wake up at 4.30am with a headache. Would whack PES on if it didnt wake up the house! So ill update my Iphone with new software instead.

On PES.........

There is so much depth to PES its unreal. You are not going to get everything in 1 or 2 games. Tatics really matter.

Ive been playing demos for a month and when switching to a 10 minute game you really notice the difference!

Ill post more after a few games today cos I dont think you can know it all after a few games.

One thing I will say is I love how big the pitches are. When playing Fifa demo I can never find any space on the pitch. In PES there is tons of space. Also the movement of your teamates is fantastic.

Been reading lots of positivity regarding the gameplay all over the net. I'm not quite sure what's with this thread being the most negative? I'm reading some total opposite reactions on here. I'm only talking gameplay though. Also shooting seems no where near floaty as the negative ones on here are making it sound like.

I had two thunderbolts with Lampard and Lakuku but when I was 2-1 down and pushing forward in last 5 mins the ball fell to Terry who hit a floaty shot over the bar. For me thats realistic. Terry isnt known for 25 yarders in the top corner is he?

I think that the first demo was fantastic but the full game is very disappointing regarding the gameplay. Can't find a single reason for changing the gameplay of the demo like the 1000s animations of passing,shooting,dribbling that makes every team and every single player a unique one (for example Schweinsteiger couldn't dribble like Lahm in the demo but now he can ) , the game now looks just like PES 2012 , in addition to some shitty bugs like scoring easily from very long range shots , actually my brother scored a goal from the midfield circle with Tymoschuck ! And I scored one with Arbeloa just after the circle ! and both goals were against CPU in Superstar mode !! This is just as stupid as FIFA 2007 long shots thing , wish they bring the demo gameplay back in the very next update because what they have done since the first demo till the game release is BULLS**T

I guess my major annoyance is that it visually looks like PES11 and PES12.

A lot of people are saying they are enjoying it but it looks so much last last 2 titles that they are ready to look at something new.

Roll on the new engine.........

I first bought PES in 2011 when I made the switch from FIFA and really enjoyed the stories here. Tips on how to do things. Was full of people willing to share info etc. Since PES 2012 came out, it's basically whinging non-stop!

Gameplay wise, honestly i think its the best pes ever, and its been said by a player like me that at the beginning didnt even want to buy it. Shoots are just perfect, not floaty at all. Same apply for CPU cheating. I Tried to play a KONAMI CUP to simulate qualification for an european championship, and with Italy for the first time i menaged not only to qualify, but to even win my qualifying group. If you want to win in this game, you have to work a lot with tactics, and you must decide wisely which players to put on the starting eleven (at the beginning i was lazy and let the CPU decide for me and results were poor). I really cant see any strange goal coming from CPU, defense is just spot on. All i hope from KONAMI is to add a offline community mode and then i am more than happy.

So let me repeat myself: Gameplay wise this game is FANTASTIC. Probably people are just angry that everything else is fucked up, like missing leagues, boots gate (that i dont care at all since boots always gave those stats improvement and in a game the last thing i notice when i score a fantastic goal, is the boots of my striker) and the very outdate database.

Well, f me! Been looking forward to this day since demo 1 and it's finally here. Had everything planned out, was going to go all around town after work to find the cheapest one, and then have a lovely weekend of PES, UFC and Super Sunday.

Wake up this morning, sick as all hell! Called in sick to work. So I don't know if this is a blessing in disguise that I have all day off, or if it just adds to my woes considering how I'm feeling. Never the less, I can't be stopped in my quest so high temperature or not, I shall hit the stores when they open.

- read on evo-web every shot is parried in the box
- keepers are weak
- shots are floaty

Ask a local guy that has a naughty version and he confirms the above is utter bollocks :LOL:

Also love how 99% of people who joined today complain the most.

Shots are NOT floaty. It was my biigest gripe about PES12 and if shots were floaty in PES13 id be trading it. But I wont be. It has real potential.

Keepers are hit and miss. I had Cech who pulled off some great saves but then came sliding out and completley missed it and A Madrid had a tap in.

Yes I joined today because I don't signup in a forum unless I want to download some content that can't be viewed wihout registering or I want to discuss something .
By the way , I am an old PES fan and stopped playing FIFA since 2008 if you think that there is some conspiracy or something , no , not at all , I'm telling you that the first demo is the best ever gameplay in football gaming history , now the full game is very bad , don't know why they changed the fantastic gameplay of the demo making it look very like 2012 game , and you can download the replays in my previous post to watch the very long range goals that I and my brother managed to score

This place is like a roller coaster, one week, its all positive. Next, its negative, and now its starting to get positive again. I'm thinking if i should buy pes now or mid October when the dlc comes out, and all this opinions are making me change my mind every once in a while.

I like gameplay of PES2013 very much - it's definetly better than 2012.
Shooting for me is also quite good, it's nice to control the shots totally now. I have not realized 1 single random shot in more than 20 matches right now, which is a good thing. most times the keepers are also ok, especially the good ones... ;)
especially cpu keepers are not that bad, but the cpu scores a lot and my keepers look a little bit dull in some scenes...

something which annoys me - it seems that scoring from outside of the box is very easy with superstars. online my opponents scored a lot of goals (flat knuckle shots by ronaldo or rockets by rooney, ibrahimovic etc.) 25m+ away of the goal.

the biggest issue of all is the lack of game modes. this is really ridiculous. if konami is not fixing this, this will really be a shame and shows what kind of amateures they are regarding setting up everything besides gameplay.
for presentation, game modes etc. fifa plays in CL while konami struggles in relegation between league 1 and league 2...

The league mode is a bad fuckup honestly I don't get it.

Also what ever happened to the international challenge. That was one of the greatest modes Konami had in the game and it just dissappeared.

Who ever said the shooting was like pes 2012 needs to be shot in the face utter bollocks. Goalies are still a problem though but that doesn't bother me that much. Played about 10 games so far v CPU and enjoying it. Loving the pace of the game and passing on 0 assistance is amazing. Need to play more to get a better opinion of the game but encouraging so far

What version do you play? Console or pc?

I think there is something wrong with he pc version. Every positive review has been from console.
