Aww stop saying thing like this. If it all happened backwards i bet that you will say the same thing "demo 1 better blah blah blah"
All this senseless moaning is because konami releases 2 demo. Shut up and enjoy the game or just play demo 1, or simply than that don't buy the game.

the scripting is there. i read ur post on wenb btw... and its true that on ps3 the gk ai controls the scores ... iremember the best thing about ps2 pro evo was that when you conceded you knew it was your fault

it is not typical at all. especially not in video games.

this is not a pop up ad or a product placement, it's REMOVING game modes and altering your main modes fudamentals to work around this advertisement scheme. quite pathetic really

how could you compare it to demo2?

This demo1 better than demo2. Didn't the same groans and moans occur last year. It's felt like Ground Hog day in here over the past few days.

Sounds similar to the reason why GRID 2 will have no cockpit view. Just as well I don't play Codemasters games due to their sub-par handling model, but if I was to buy F1 2012, the only thing that would interest me is the one-off season mode. Sucks donkey balls that they took it away.

This is part of the reason I moved over to the PC. The RFactor 2 devs, for instance, are very much involved with the community on their own forums. They keep users in the loop and you can always get a quick answer to a question. Community feedback and interaction, when done right, is a wonderful thing. Unfortunately many devs - like Konami - don't listen to us.

I was guilty of criticising the shooting in demo 2 and then the more I played the more I enjoyed it, it felt like a better template to score clinical side foot finish's across the keeper which are my favourite. I hope I enjoy the final game as the other alternative FIFA 13, that demo I just didn't enjoy much.

Played the hole day and gameplay (PS3) is very good. It is slower, witch is a very good thing. Passing at zero is fantastic, really a joy. Playing against the AI is much, much better as it was in PES 2012. A lot less cheating if you like to call it cheating. Now you can win some easy games (3-0, 4-0) if you are dominating and not every game has to be a drama.

Overall it's addicting and you won't stop. And it's so deep you can do anything you like. And it is a grower again.

Let's see what the next days bring but for now, first day, it's pure fun.

yeah.. but if your playing multiplayer offline... the other person is going to be able to see your arrow... so I don't see it as a big deal online. however, maybe they will add it in a patch where you can hide it.

its just im pretty sure when this arrow thing first came out there was info saying your oppenent wouldnt see it online. i've played 100+ games on the demo with the arrow on because i thought it would be hidden lol, just seems like common sense to me to hide it

- any team filters when creating match lobby?
- is it still Barcelona vs Barcelona 24/7?

hmm maybe its the left trigger for trapping.. i switch my controller around so lt is switching man, lb is manual modifier, rb is sprint... rt is special controls?

So what im saying is, if your guy is sprinting towards a ball or a ball is comming fast at him, i find if im holding trap button it is a nice smooth trap, if not it is a really bad first touch, just like in the fifa demo.Usually this happens with defenders...

Mannual crossing sucks a bit. Best way to cros is to tril towards the goal a bit so you are more accurate and can have a proper curve. The closer you are the toeh 18 yard box the better the quality. The closer you are to the goal line the crapier it is.

anyone finding the thorugh balls a bit leathel?

tearing up the teams a bit easy, although bare in mind i've not changed settings so it's set to regular and 3 bar so maybe that could be the reason

I wasnt talking about trapping the ball mate, I did think what I wrote wasnt clear enough. I am talking about when dribbling the player will run with the ball, take a few even touches and then one will be heavy.

Well what is your players Technique rating? If its not 80+ then that is how konami does it

AI Cheats are too much. IN BAL i have a 96,94 Top Speed Acceleration who finds it very very hard to out run 75,72 Defenders. Konami please explain this. Not only is he slow on the ball chasing down opponents is also slow.

do a time test in training mode. how fast walcott runs the pitch length with and without the ball, how fast terry runs with and without the ball

To be fair...taking all the fluff stuff out of the argument and just looking at the gsmeplay, I think this is a masterpiece.

I have just had the best 2 games of Proevo I have ever had in the PS3 era.
I love the shooting, scored a fantastic first time R2 shot into the far corner with athletico Madrid. not possible before. the attacking A.I is fantastic in my opinion. when you want a fullback to overlap he does plus diagnol runs from fowards AND late surges from deep lying midfielders.
Even better the fake shot is back and is as good as in the PES5 days.

shooting im loving, I gave the keeper the eyes by opening the fowards body out for a far post shot then cutting the shot into the near post. from my brian to the screen in an instant. class.

there has been too many decent FIFA's in a row now to let Konami get away with such sloppy presentation and mode fuck ups...its a shame because actual gameplay is the best this Gen.. and you can quote me on that

Omg Bal AI is horrible i literally fell asleep waiting for AI to pass to me i am playing upfront.

It was so bad nearly every game was finishing 0-0 changing difficulty made no difference. :(

no no controllers you just watch 2 scripted teams play out a totally scripted match.
for the first time ever i will not buy this tomorrow seabass and co have had my pants down too many times lately so they can shove it. especially regarding the league mode. wtf for the first time ever you have a full leagues stadia yet you cant play a league. stupid stupid stupid.
come the first dlc i expect there will be a few used copies in the shops.
thats if many copies have been sold in the first place at this rate there wont be many. got an extra £40 burning a hole in my pocket this month now yippee!!! some more beer to drink i think

I'll give it more time sir. The damage restrictions, the buffoon AI drivers and the yearly bugs have soured my early impressions along with the GP season exclusion but I guess we'll see what the modders can do on the PC version too.

Wow. I can't believe it. I played it for 5 straight hours with a mate. This game is lovely. Yesterday I played some games with cpu and I didn't like it much. The AI wastes lots of chances and shoots straight into the keeper, and you can easily cut their passes. They use dribbling and long passes too much. Playing with a human is a complete different story. Player ID is easily noticeable and crucial. (e.g. if you play Carick as you DM you are not gonna win lots of midfield battles, Phil Jones is much better there. Or your RB/LB should be fast if your opponent has fast wingers). Another great thing is that you have a great freedom in the way you wanna play the game. Meanwhile, you should know what to expect from each player. That's the thing that make the game brilliant for me.
The biggest problem (which is not a game breaker) are the keepers and the way parry the ball. (as _anderson detailed) Also, there are some inconsistencies in player switching and positioning.
IMO if you wanna enjoy this game you should play it with a mate or online.
