Just read about the master league Lmao almost as bad as releasing a new game engine at the end of a console cycle only to have to start from scratch in 2 years time

No insider news, no first hand news, nada. Null. Void.

KONAMI will be able to do anything behind people back. This would also be suicidal for KONAMI in the long run. Losing hardcore fanbase... Jaysus -.-

Kitan Media tweeted that Adam is just taking a break and he will be back.

Actually his last action was nice in my opinion, standing up and letting us know about this worrying ML stuff. Also great to see how the industry works, it shows how much we should give on opinions of supported 'community sites' in the future.

If he's been bollocked to the point of being removed from his Konami position the it shows Konami don't give a flying fuck about PES communities. As a company they are clueless.

According to Gamestop it will release on 25 Sep for the U.S. Makes sense as games come out here on a Tuesday. My guess is EU release will be on or about 28 Sep.

well id say 80% of people that buy PES and Fifa wouldnt even know these boards exist,so it wont bother knoami to be honest

They should really work to release it a few weeks before FIFA, to try and tempt a few impatient people to give it a go. Else regardless of what PES can offer FIFA will eat it into their sales, no question about that.

I for one don't visit WENB, I can get all my news via Evo-Web as people will link all relevant information in threads like this anyway.

I don't get peoples obsession with talking about that site either, it's very strange. I'm not criticising WENB by the way, I'm just don't care.

i was a try hard with this game :P, with yair jenkey etc.
not bought it, wasnt worth it

as others stated it felt directly wrong to me too, first kick off, tried it but this game is a shame to pes series

08 engine mess
09 playable(2v2)
10 great direction bad execution
11 playable(offline online bal, some 2v2)
(just to give u some round-up)
in the end 012 is the only NG title i havent bought, 08 was a mistake off course

I'd say the games have been slightly getting better every year. 2008 was awful, 2009 was dire, 2010 was not too bad. 2011 was pretty good. 2012 could have been brilliant. 2013 Demo loving it atm.

sallam to you all, as always i`m more of a reader in this community, but from time to time i allow myself to comment.

First of all i`d like to make a statement, pes 2013 demo 2 on the xbox is a relief, the first demo made me worry it would be too similar to pes 2012. I felt that pes 12 was a downer in all aspects, i decided to go with the arabic version of fifa 12, guys if you want know what it means to be sucked in to a football match, you`ll have to try fifa 12 arabic commentary, the sound effects aside, its commentary is marvelous.

its a point i try to enlighten every year when possible, football is also the ambience. Pes 13 seems to me that it is better on that front.

What to speak about the fluidness, the freedom in play, the RT (curv button) wow!, this stuff makes me want to play pes 13 more then fifa 13.
It really does make me think of pes 5 and 6.

I`m not going to write a whole section and discuss every aspect of a footballgame. I`m one of those guys who since the beginning played master league because of its difficulty. I would make a Top team league, with all the top teams from over the world, and the second div would be a selection of teams that ar right behind the top teams. I would make this on order to make it even harder to survive, (because i would start of with the standerd ml team), I know there are others who do the same, for me this is what resembles Pro evolution soccer since the beginnen. (the ones who played the early versions of pro evo/iss know what i`m talking about.

if you think the boot shizzle is ruining your game try my set up, you will like pes even more.

You missed out on a very decent game then mate. I disliked it at the beginning but after the 2nd patch the shooting and defensive AI was fixed and it changed completely.

Not perfect - but not near as bad as you made it out to be also rather wrong when you played so little of it.

Gave 2008 a chance but had given up by christmas. Just had a strange unconnected feeling that wasn't like PES at all. The online servers were absolutely horrendous as well. 2009 was equally as terrible.

2010 was a big step in the right direction but felt like half a game. Massive improvement in some aspects but extremely limited in others.

PES 2011 expanded well on that, and IMO, is the best in the series so far. Unparalelled individuality, lovely variation in dribbling styles, cloggers, playmakers, poachers, targetmen, the works. Reasonably balanced MLO, with no differences in playing field from assistance passing. But again, slightly limited and forced you into a specific playing style. Lack of movement was hugely frustrating.

PES 2012 rectified that last aspect significantly, but then regressed in others. Removed attributes, cards, dribbling styles, passing differences. Introduced passing assistance that introduced realistic accuracey, at the expense of online balance and player individuality. MLO also butchered. More fluid and massive improvements in player intelligence and computer AI.

PES 2013, from what I've played, is a nice blend of the last two. Potentially the strongest in the series, although I still have some complaints. All comes down to the how all the modes are handled, offline ML looks butchered so far (for me at least), so fingers crossed MLO is at least saved from invasive advertising campaign.

That was funny addition to the game. You weren't forced to use them.

(never ever played with pillows and such in PES in my entire PES career LOL).

The problem with boots is not about boots alone. It's more about boosts you get from them combined with some personal training cards. That's what worried most hardcore fans. I know I am repeating myself here, but many people here don't see to grasp this at all.

As to shooting themselves in both feet I agree here. Unfortunately, last weeks for KONAMI has been terrible. Now they let their personal frustration take control and get rid of one of most prominent community members (you may not even like the guy), no 2nd PC demo, no 10 min halves (or even 5 mins!), no team list, no stadium list, no real ML/MLO news, no release date, etc.

Crazy attitude.
