Has anyone tried to use manual shooting for crosses ? It's MUCH better than using manual cross, in manual cross the ball is too floaty for my taste.

You guys should try it, a very good tip. Or maybe it's not something "new" ere...

there should be way more injuries in the game, i haven't seen one in both demos.. there should be at least one injury every other game

Played a few more on demo 2 it is far more polished than demo 1 in respect of manual passing. Still lacks the pace of assisted but that is sort of excepted.

I noticed a bunch of new animations one was Pepe putting his hands behind his back as he blocked a shot and one with sergio biscuits lifting his leg to intercept a chipped pass.

One thing that does bother me though is the ai's tendency to fall for a shot feint 90% of the time. Hope this isnthe case as its a bit of a pisstake.

I am on a mission to beat madrid atm as they are pretty lethal. I noticed the slower build usually reaps the better results if you try and attack them with pace you get caught out especially when possession is turned over.

Loving it to bits but this fucking 5 mins makes me want to scream. Seriously wtf happened to PC demo 2

Seen on average two yellow-label injuries to the AI in every match I play on demo 1. And I've collectively suffered around 5 to my players in around 50 matches played altogether. Similar to PES2012 to be honest.

I tackle hard when there's nothing to play for, hence the CPU pain

About the lack of demo 2 on PC, I seem to remember a similar thing happening last year. Might have something to do with Konami being less than ecstatic about the amount of hacking on the first demo.

People will mod/hack the hell out of the final game too. I don't really see the reason to hold back a PC demo because of that. Part of the reason PES has such a cult status is because of the work of the modding community over the years.

has no one else noticed theyve seemingly taken away mental stats? positioning, work rate etc. wtf??? theyre promoting individuality but are missing huge parts of how players behave on the pitch.

Matty - perhaps the way they've coded the team AI now means they have some trade offs. Just speculation on my part though. I downloaded the PES 2011 demo last night and the difference in AI is staggering. The opposition would chase me in packs of 3. It was like watching under 8's play on a Sunday morning.

Put on Demo 2 for PES 2013 and it's much much better in terms of team's overall shape and 1 v 1 battles around the pitch. Hard to say from 5 min games how accurately team's styles are represented though.

Hopefully a new engine means they can push things a lot further.

Looks like they are gonna change and overhaul everything for next gen. Makes me wonder how much they couldnt do with the current engine. The thought of this is exciting yet slightly worrying.
