No way lads. As I said before, this was just a way to stick more ads into the game. It'a a business deal, and Konami will be forced to stick to it.

The stats are shot power, shot accuracy, explosive power, speed & curve.

Any news on the actual release date for this game in the UK. Some retailers are quoting as early as the 21st of September while some are stating early October.

I'm confused.

Oh, sheer brilliance - 5 bars from boot stat translating into straight +5 stat boost. Now add red or orange form arrow effect and ... fuck me Molly

blockbuster say 21.09.12 and everywhere else says 05.10.12

Id go for the later. Blockbuster probably just want you to pre-order it, take your money and then say its been delayed until 05.10.12. Just a hunch!

The trailer runs in real time on a PC with "specs comparable to PS3" is what Konami said.

it's odd, on official pes site, it links you to blockbuster or zavvi and both have different dates :CONFUSE:

So "Schnelligkeit" means speed then? So this stupid pair of Nike Mercurials is giving the player +5 on speed?? :SHOCK:

This is a deal breaker for me right there.
I might wait until after the game is released for further confirmation on options to possibly avoid this bizarre new feature. If there isn't any way to do so, I might skip this version or the franchise altogether.

That ML boot thing is absolutely ridiculous... Mind-bogglingly stupid idea.

My entire game experience is now dependent upon one of the modders here being able to remove this.

There is one way to avoid this: don't assign boots to players. They will still grow with normal training. But then you will have players wearing fake black boots

as for release date

Adam confirmed the game has gone gold and I asked him when he usually gets his review code and he said usually a month before release

release date looks like 20/21st of September

If enough people keep complaining I feel Konami will patch this boot debacle with and on/off option (if it's not already in the final game). Highly recommend flooding Jon Murphy's inbox with tweets and bombarding official Konami channels of communication with complaints.

I don't think you can ignore it by not using it, cause the CPU will use these
magic-stuff-features.

It's a gamebreaker for anyone interested in ML or MLO. Maybe on PC the modders can get rid of this ML and introduce a ML-campaign from an older version of PES instead.

But didn't he get the review code only last Thursday, 30th August? Which would put release date in last week of September/first week October.

You don't need to try out the effect of it. It's a +5 point boost! If you get a good youngster in ML, it usually takes 2 seasons to increase that much. But thanks to the geniuses at KONAMI, just assign the boot to Burchet and Voila! Speed 95.

And there is still this Personal training, dribbling posts, super injury recovery, sprint training which can be assigned to any slot in player (there are 4 available, 3 which can be anything and 1 solely for boots).

So you can actually do +9 to All stats +boots which can give up to +14 in some areas...

Good grief!

And believe me getting GP not through playing the game but by editor will be common ;) (of course no-one will ever say he cheated. All is pure and such <lol>).

What's more this stuff will probably make way to MLO.

If it isn't taken care of this year, I can agree with Adam that KONAMI will be pushing next PESes in Fantasy direction in ML. Captain Tsubasa ML style anyone?! :D

The 2nd PC demo won't be coming is my worst fear now (after all KONAMI did take notice of WENB forums and some people got stern yelling from KONAMI for breaking embargo) ;(.

I don't think so, becaus KONAMI probably lost many customers.
