PES 2013 Discussion Thread

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

Fair point, but what is the idea of playing the game on SUPERSTAR with full assists? It is not any different when you play racing games/simulators you cant have the racing line visible at the hard levels.

people play the game how they want,if they want to play superstar on manual then they can, if they dont, then they can do that also.

i only play manual controls but even with this demo i've had several matches were im just messing around on beginner trying tricks and different passes... i would hate it if i was forced to play assisted because of the difficulty level because thats not how i enjoy the game.

I think you might have misunderstood me. I'm not saying that every level should have a fixed assistance setup, what I mean is he more you increase the game difficulty the less assistance settings should be available.

soo you CAN change your assistance settings to what you want, even on superstar? it just starts you off manual?

then id say whats the point... it would be annoying the computer changing your controls every game.... just let people save their own control settings

although one thing i wouldnt be against is the default mode (when you first start your game) to be all manual

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

Hmmm.. Guess there's no point opening a feedback thread here then.

Oh well.

No, please do, if solely for therapeutic reasons. :))

May I ask, is the feedback passed onto Konami or do they actively read these forums? Evo-web is the best PES site on the net after all.

You're getting dangerously close to suggesting that constructive criticism you don't like to hear is wrong.

It's the implied "we know best" attitude that I find uncomfortable.

The early demo is more like a beta and, as such, it's there to be pulled apart, pushed to breaking point and then constructively criticised. Suggesting that the demo should be passively enjoyed and fully accepted is verging on fanboyism. And I really don't like using the 'f' word.

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

Is there a tutorial video somewhere on here to show you how to put a patch on PC version of PES?

Thanks

Many patches have installers so it's like installing a regular program. Or at least the two I used for PES2012 did.

Very professional and very easy.

experience is that some demos were more enjoyable and not much different than the full game afterwards
so there are both sides, the one sayin lets wait polishing etc. and the other legitimated one sayin thats basically what we will get

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

Yes, or there's a readme where you have to extract some files to your PES install directory, but that's about it.

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

I really can't see the issue with player switching that most people are talking about. I play on semi-assisted and use both the LT and right stick without any issues

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

I'm having so much fun with this demo.

I'm from a FIFA manual background since way back but I've gotta say that I'm having tons of fun leaving the pass assistance on 3 bars but using manual shooting (sure I would love manual throughballs aswell without all this L2 nonsense but that aint gonna happen this year)

I just experience one today.. about cursor change.

i got two team-mate infront of me with one near the sideline.. so i pass to him, cursor change but the ball was blocked by a defender and go towards the 2nd team mate.

However, the ball is still closer to the first one i intended. This where switch issue happens. the second one is auto-run to the incoming ball then the cursor from 1st mate change to 2nd mate. Without me intentionally wanting to use 2nd mate because i still want to use the first one to chase the ball.

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

I'm having fun with the demo, but if the final retail version has every attacking CPU player do a shot feint evert time he is one-on-one with my keeper like it does at the moment, my foot's going through the TV. Literally every single time it gets through on goal, it does the fake shot and rounds my keeper.

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

That is in the game since PES 2011 O_O.

Can't believe they haven't removed that. It's just cheap goal ffs :/.

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

Player switching. On defense if the ball is between your player and the goal that player cannot be selected so you are forced to pick one of the defenders and hope/pray your midfield chooses to come back and support or they will stay where they are and jog. Just imagine what happens when a player gets beat he will be totally removed from the picture. Advantage attack.

the right stick player selection is a joke. You will not notice the horrible player selection if you play a slow passed game all the time and you play a super slow defense (unrealistic if thats what you see all the time).

According to some fans you just don't know how to play the game lol.

I keep complaining the GK charge is to bloody slow and he doesn't get wide enough either. CPU has supreme composure 1v1.

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

You're getting dangerously close to suggesting that constructive criticism you don't like to hear is wrong.

You're not close and instead have tread over the line of making massive negative assumptions...

Constructive criticism is always welcome be it here, WENB, PESFan or any other community for that matter, and it is often what materialises when a demo is released.

Someone applying extensive bug testing-like logic to a demo, while constructive to a degree, is rather pointless at this stage. Yeah, PC demo can be patched but at the end of the day it is a patched demo. Not only is the build incomplete but it is also the case the demo itself is configured for the parameters they have set. Not to say that longer matches won't give some better insight or that it will suddenly get much better in demo 2 or final release. I think everyone knows there is an issue with ease of dominance in possession and is something everybody would like to see curtailed in some way.

@Jamezinnho - We/I never implied that we/I know better.

I guess if it makes some of you feel better to think that WENB block out opinion or that the site owners here surely must despise us like some of you do, then fair enough. Unfortunately, this simply isn't the case on both counts and I personally have no real axe to grind with any user on this site, as I like to use it too.

I think it is naive/childish to suggest/infer/imply that what WENB wants goes against what everybody else wants. It's simply not true and I would hope it goes without question that we all want the same thing relatively speaking.

Anyway, this isn't and should never be about community rivalry and my response was to someone who plucked WENB's name out the air for no good reason, so I have the right to challenge that regardless of me being a staff member of said site or not.

Re: PES 2013 Discussion Thread .......

For me platform for Pes is Playstation no doubt. I feel soul when i play it on Ps.

For me ,since PES 3, PES was always better on PC . Better graphic , better and more polished gameplay ! There is just one game witch one is better on PS or PS2 , because that game was not release for PC, its first Winning Eleven 10 !! It's not PES 6 or Winning eleven 2007 , its Winning Eleven 10 for PS2 only .. great game !

The only good thing about pes on the ps2 was the analogue buttons. There were great for shooting.
