PES 2011 Video Thread

If there were a goal to sum up PES this is it!
Your never oing to score that again

For me, that Roberto Carlos Freekick sums up PES better than anything else I have seen. Phenomenal.

Another cracking strike Kouroux, your turning into a human highlight reel. :)

And Zee, WOW !! :WOOT:

Here is me thinking I'm a dead-ball specialist. The technique on those freekicks is nothing short of stunning. That one from about 40 yards out is crazy, and the dip your getting on this is brutal. You have a slightly different way of taking them than me, you seem to be putting more height and power on them, then apply ridiculous dip immediately, brilliant. Very, very impressive. I'll be making sure I dont dive in reckless against you, anywhere within 40 yards.

What I would love to see is more goals with some clever intricate passing followed by a nice finish. We have alot of amazing strikes, it would be nice to see peoples footballing brain in action.

I've got my heart set on scoring a certain type of goal, I've come close a couple of times, but it's proving very difficult. I'm not sure if it's possible, but I have been trying for over a week now, and hopefully I can get one and capture it on film. I dont want to say what type of goal it is, in case someone else thinks about it, and beats me to it. :CONFUSE:

Thanks jimmy I hope they haven't changed the refs too much though.
The triangle button is the key to getting that dip but it's not possible with any player. D'Allesandro is the shit when it comes to set pieces. Also I am yet to score one from wide and curled in at the far post. I came close with him lastnight and Xavi on another occasion.

I intend to post a teamwork compilation but when the full game is released.

Not mine but...

R2 (R1 on my configuration) is indeed a key button. When you have a player who's got special dribbling cards, it can be a joy to control him

when is this game coming out in australia? eb is telling me the 14th but jb hi fi are advertising the 8th, any aussies know? cheers

This goal screams Berbatov to me, outside of the foot toe-poke, effortless class.

Bazinga! Classic Berbatov. In the same vein, here are a couple more Berbatov videos.

My first ever goal on PES 2011 PC full version and it had to be Berba!Calm and collected as always.

Next one. Nice control and touches by Nani and sends in a cross for a typical Berbatov scissors kick. Too bad it comes off the post. This match was one of the best I've ever played on PES 2011,possibly on any PES at all. Shall post the highlights later.

Great goals by Berbatov, he looks a joy to play with. That flick for the first goal from Shank is all natural, Ribery did the same for me. He didnt score. :(

Speaking of not scoring, I still havent managed to get that goal I have been trying, but I have just come the closet yet. :WOOT:

This obsession to score one comes from a game I played last week. I was breaking on the counter and looked at the radar and spotted the keeper well of his line. I dont know what made me try it, instinct I guess, but I tried a shot on goal using the manual high pass and nearly full power. This type of attempt on goal in real life uses the same technique. You dont get your head down and smash it with your laces like a shot, you basically strike the ball as if your drilling a long pass, like Beckham, or in my case, Pele.

The first shot I attempted made me think that its possible, then again PES always gives you that feeling. I tried using the Copa Teams as I'm sure D'Alessandro has the passing speed and power to pull it off, but more importantly the Chivas keeper isnt as good as Bayern's or Barcelona's. You also need to check the radar and make sure the keeper is on edge of his 'D', and I feel the best chance is on the counter. I have recorded a few near misses including the very first attempt.

I'm interested to see if anyone else can pull it off, it will be a special goal and very well deserved if it's done.

Damn you almost pulled it off with that last attempt. I'll start trying it :D .

Cheers :)

I've only just noticed the run into the right channel by another of my players as well, I think it's my centre-back!

It adds so much to the quality of the strike when the keeper is rooted like that, brilliant. I will never get sick of watching those. :)

Is it possible to score goals a la Tony Yeboah against Liverpool all those years ago? I mean the technique and pose to strike that volley in off the bar? I've yet to see a volley in any game as good as that.

Absolutely. Anything is possible because the shooting is completely based on real life technique. It's all about body posture, timing, and how you catch the ball. Have you seen the Roberto Carlos goal on page 9 ? :WOOT:
