PES 2011 Video Thread

I cannot prove it now as I didn't record it, but a couple of nights ago I sent Huddlestone towards a loose ball cleared from a corner I'd sent in. He took one touch around stomach-height, sending it slightly to the right of centre, let it bounce and I managed to half-volley it in off the bar at considerable speed. Around 20 yards out. It's definitely possible to go Yeboah. :D

That is more a description of the goal Yeboah scored against Wimbledon in a week or so after his goal against Liverpool. Both great strikes, but the Liverpool volley was extra special.

Both scored with his "weaker" right foot, too.

I bet you made a little sex wee :O

Ahem, on another note.

I frigging hate what they have done with the replay system!! Why on earth did they decide to change it? it's so hard to get decent camera angles now for goal replays :'(

I don't understand what people mean by this? I don't recall noticing what we are missing ? I know we now have a 360 degrees camera that wasn't there before. I love that one to be honest.

I can't raise the height of the camera, or for the ones that I can raise the height, I can't zoom out far enough, it's a bit wank to be honest, the old replay system was better (in terms of operation), I'm not complaining about the actual replays themselves.

What I would love to see is more goals with some clever intricate passing followed by a nice finish. We have alot of amazing strikes, it would be nice to see peoples footballing brain in action.

I've got my heart set on scoring a certain type of goal, I've come close a couple of times, but it's proving very difficult. I'm not sure if it's possible, but I have been trying for over a week now, and hopefully I can get one and capture it on film. I dont want to say what type of goal it is, in case someone else thinks about it, and beats me to it. :CONFUSE:

definitely not the smartest pass but at least, it was able to break barca's defense :BOP:

^ I can't view the Youtube vid at work, but can see the preview image, but are Barca deploying a straight back 5 with a defensive midfield unit, there?

it was still being uploaded I think.....

TBH I don't know, but I think it was 4 backs and some midfield falling back to cover their penalty :))

This goal is (so far) my favorite among the ones I've scored. It's just a missile haha.I also liked how he takes a look before shooting, a small detail which makes the goal more realistic

I wanted to show you this not for the goal itself but for the first time control. The pass was powerful so it makes the control even better

Awesome. You just dont stop those.

As for the highlighted part, I mentioned this earlier in this thread and asked people to keep a look out for it.

Here is one you might like, a cheeky dink from Xavi showcasing his sublime technique. He spots the keeper off his line, takes the ball right to draw the keeper a little further whilst also setting up the perfect angle for the type of technique required. Something else I've noticed since PES 2010 is the accuracy you seem to get if you strike just after your player has a look up. It happens again on this if you look carefully. He shoots a glance to see the keepers distance just before he strikes, perfect replication. It's as if the glance has a bearing on the shots accuracy. Crazy, this may well be pure coincidence, but the amount of times I have checked replays of goals and spotted this 'final glance' is seriously high. Keep and eye out for it. It's weird :CONFUSE:

I honestly don't think there is a link between the 2 but if there is, props to you for noticing that Jimmy.

Yeah probably just some strange coincidence, but now your aware of it, you will surprised how many times it happens, and more so with the more spectacular goals.

Uhm, but you didn't have to beat any player actually, the goal is brilliant, great strike, but dribbling wise, you just used the space left in Bayern's midfield...

Haha yeah that's what I noticed as well. The defenders kept backing off. Doesn't usually happen though. got lucky i guess :D

Yeh, go tell Ronaldo about it, he hasn't been able to shine with my Real Madrid yet, it feels like he's trapped there, he had more space to move in the demo I think.

Anyway, I wanted to record a video with FRAPS once, a full match in PES6, and the file was HUGE, can anyone explain me how do you manage to get decent sizes without losing quality to upload on YouTube?

You gotta use video editors to compress the vids. Not sure which is the best one but I use VirtualDub. AviDemux works well also I think. Maybe someone else can suggest more alternatives?
