PES 2011 Master League Online beta Feedback thread

Can someone tell me how I enter a Cup? I try to enter pre the time and it says entries are closed, I attempt after and it says the same? Eh?

But seriously, not sure, I had the same message for the first few days. I can only imagine they have filled the quota maybe ? It wouldnt surprise, due to the fact they have been no comps over the weekend, and the prize money whores will be all over it.

I checked the rankings last night by the way, I'm guessing it's you on the leaderboards ?
 
Hey Jimmy, Lodeiro really is a great buy at ~1.3m. I really love that "V-feint" you can perform with R1, really great for a quick change of direction.

I had Lodeiro, and he is one of my favourite players from PES 2010, but I must admit he was a little hit and miss for me. I ended up selling him and buying Ben Saada for £1.8, he has been sensational. I then played a game against someone who had Lodeiro in the team, and Lodeiro ran the show and gave me fits. Sods law that.

I sold Baptista and moved Bangoura from LMF to CF, and he scored a hat-trick, he really is a cracking player. I also bought Digao as well for £1.3 million, a Brazilian CB, he is a monster at 194cm. I bought him in my ML in PES 2010 and he was sensational.

I'm all out of funds now, I picked up a DMF for £1.1 million and LMF ( cant remember his name ) both of them dont have great stats, but do a great job, and more importantly, they both have the Passer Player Card. I like as many players as I can in my team with this card, makes a huge difference.
 
making another video ,played a few games trying to score using the rainbow flick ,see what you all think

i played zee in a friendly game, managed to go whole length of the pitch with my keeper (romero) doing them and nearly scoring,i counted 12 in a row

I got something new to hate - just bought Messi for testing purposes and game became easy-mode instantly, he really feels unstoppable in MLO games, especially vs cheap defenders :COOL:

I can literally walk past anyone, if I try to dribble with R2 then I know my marker is going to be raped. What else - Leo is a beast and he was intended to be like that (Seabass said he needs to look superhuman because he is like that in real football, so he made him and Cristiano unplayable)

He's got his own running animation, controlling Messi and controlling say Gyan is night and day, he's got different sharper turns and is simply godly :OOOH:

I really HOPE good defenders and double teaming can make him stop creating brilliance :) + maybe those defensive moves can help, we'll see I guess

So yeah, it's like I like it but I hate it, too easy is not so great :JAY:

Rainbow shit is really annoyig.. Trick system has to be toned down big time. At least the tricks you cannot see in a real game.

However the replays and night lighting is simply amazing..
It really looks like like a real football game most times :)

Except the fucking nets of course.

Any ideas how to force KONAMI to change them..

I somehow doubt though taht Konami have left it in the same dreadful state it was in the beta even in the gamescom code.

It's pretty much standard for Konami to test these tricks out and give them a thrashing really to make sure it's balanced and make sure they aren't overpowered by testing them to the max!

Many huge, huge bugs in the beta which is to be expected, maybe were all overreacting but no harm in sending Konami those bids just to make 100% sure!

thats the reason im posting this,but i think we missed the boat with konami releasing the game in 4 weeks theres no time to fix this,jon murphy said in his email to all of us he wanted us to test the online aspect of the game not the actual gameplay.

I'm sure it's been fixed already, the goalkeepers coding was just as bad as this it seems! That was fixed! You would think as soon as Konami got the trick system working they would've tested it out to the extreme in a view to balance it out.

Then again even if it is left in! You would have to give you opponent so much space for it to be effective anyway.

yeah i will do,il be emailing the link with my report. the bad thing is most players can do these rainbow flicks in the game,the player i got most joy with was stanlislas from west ham out on the wing,other people will be saying there was collusion between me and my opponents but all of them had no idea was was going on,i dont even consider myself any good at this beta code as my record is W10L15D9 ,im still stuck in division 5:COAT:
 
Good God that's bad. It's amazing how this wasn't clamped down on before it was implemented into any build, let alone one that was due to go public.

Bloody rainbow is the bane of football gaming.

Today I found the guy with Cristiano, Rooney, Kaka and the rest of the family. I managed to not let him any goal LOL...

I have signed two new players: Sculli for the left wing and Lisandro Lopez for CF. Firstmatch was a total trash with a Sculli's hat trick and the first Lisandro's goal.

I am currently in 3rd division with a pretty decent record...
 
oMg :D That video with Rainbow's glitches was deleted from WENB forum and all commends about it too !
I know they want to see only nice things about PES in their forum to avoid angry Konami, but this is too much.
Not solve problems by doing that there not exist !

Great work with the video Gerd, I hope they look at it.

As for it being some sort of game-breaker, no chance. It's a stupid inclusion in the game, and completely against the grain, and simulated philosophy. But to be honest, if this is Konami's 'bad idea' this year, then I'm happy. Every year there is something, without fail, that we all think, WTF ? Why ? If this is the only thing we can really moan about then I'll take that over rubbbish refs, constant auto-tackles etc etc.

The bottom line is I have never seen anybody do this in over 100 games and 30 hours of play. I dont see football minded people using it, and I certainly wont be. It's there, I wish it wasnt, but with all the great things happening this year, in the bigger picture, it's nothing. Finally we have a true 'Evolution', and I'm just very happy about that.

I managed to get into a competition last night the D4 Cup. I played 3 games, won 1, drew 2. I thought I was through to the second round as I was lying 15th in the table, but then the final results came in and I dropped to 17th on GD and went out. Heartbreaking. I did earn £1.8 million though and bought a 73 rated keeper, 198cm tall Van Loo. I played 5 games with him after that conceding 1 goal. What a difference he has made compared to that blind bellend Lothar I've been using. Man this game is so facking addictive. Granted it's raw, but underneath show's huge potential.

yeah I think we can stop with rainbow drama, it's pretty useful trick but I just played a rainbow flicking guy and I blocked his circus pretty much every time - just hold your ground and wait for interception - if you expect some trickery then the ball is already yours

not a gamebreaker, not a chance

PS. but Messi is a monster and that's a fact :COOL:

He would give Freddy Krueger nightmares that little fucker. A couple of man-markers, some retreat jockeying, and if that doesnt work, a nasty 'train-wreck' challenge to shatter the bones in his ankle. :)
