I think I read somewhere that the newest build has the old camera angle for penalties back in?

Is anyone else having connection problems with the beta? I'm finding games well enough, but every game is on just the one red bar, meaning the connection is terrible. The game as a result seems floaty, slow motion, and I'm sure I'm not seeing the proper game in action.
All my other games work online with no issues at all, like MW2, Battlefield BC 2 etc, so I'm not sure why the PES beta seems to be so bad in terms of lag/online connectivity, especially when other people are saying they're barely getting any lag at all. I'm on 50mb broadband, and never had any problems online before.
Can anyone suggest what the problem could be, or is anyone experiencing similar problems? So far the online experience is down there with previous PES games at the moment

I get mostly yellow bars, but have had a few red.
ok here's my feedback from MLO beta judging after having played around 200 matches ; this is what I think about what should be fixed, I'll stress it in email survey from pesfan/Konami after aug 29th, but here's the list :
- refs are not strict at all in beta, they are not giving reds for blatant fouls from behind when I have 1on1 situation, this is just wrong, especially online where gamers already KNOW they can get away with it
- penalty system is too sensitive and I'd scrap it and go back to old one, that's my wish ; in game situation camera pans to wide/normal long and I think it messes shot direction too - that's what I think because I never scored a penalty (had like 20penalties)
- add (bring back actually) option to edit preset messages ingame (I could have my own messages in PES6)
- my biggest gripe is MLO team improvement - it's way too fast ; after like 1week of playing I have 11man squad full of stars (Messi, Pato, Ronaldo, Sneijder, Maicon etc) and I can afford next great ones. That's because my cash income is too fast OR players are too cheap
Division 3 money :
300k for quick match
900k for competition match (that's like 5mln for qualifier matches, result doesn't matter)
Highest valued players are like 20mln after 1week, where in my opinion they should cost at least 50mln from the start (100mln if you want Messi, Kaka, Rooney, Ronaldo etc) ; grind and money sink stuff should be there just for the sake of people going to high end squads in 1week, 20mln for Messi? what a bargain, I can have him in 1day and that shouldn't be the case
And to add to this, I had lot more fun when I had weaker side and had to find interesting and cheap players and use them against gamers who had the same struggle - those matches happened in first days of beta, now I'm in D3 and here everyone (literally) has allstar squad - it's fun too but it happened too fast ; Konami should adjust it like they did in older PES (4,5/6) where I've been completing my squad for months
- so increase player prices to very high (for star players) or decrease cash income significantly (from competitions)
- and of course, rainbow flick fix (50% chance of failure, plus exclusivity to chosen players) would be welcome
I agree 110% with all that bar the penalties. Check the pens tutorial, once you understand the concept and techniques, it is a perfect system, I cant see how it could be done any better, stat based manual. I had a pens shootout and we both knew the drill, it was awesome, ended 7-6 to me, after he tried to bluff me and I read it. Lucky guess. They look so much better than 2010 yet the principles are exact.
I scored a cracking side bycycle kick with Abriel, his technique is awesome. It was very similar to the Mark Hughes stunner for Wales, only he set himself up. Sorry for the poor quality, it's off the Iphone 4 but the lighting was wrong and I tried to edit it with an app but failed miserably.
Awesome strike though. Its the second goal by the way, and just watched it again, great goal but I aint no Steven fucking Spielberg thats for sure.

Another by Bangoura, I like this as it's off a cheeky couple of tricks from Saada. It was against Tobi as well I think.

Nice scissors kick Jimmy...
cmon jimmy those tricks were gay and unrealistic, in any league in the world that guy would have been hacked down before getting off the second one... and the volley was ridiculous.. im seeing way too many bikes and scissors.... but the game is looking good

yeah penalty shootout is fine (checked some tutorials and it helped), but try to score from penalty in a match - camera is different (wide) and controls are screwed, if you know how to score from that please tell me
I've made it to the knock out stages of a competition twice and on both occasions I've been knocked out due to the AI defenders automatically and needlessly sliding in and giving away cheap penalties. It's a mountain to climb after that, especially when the opponent only cares about winning at all costs.
I pray that this won't be an issue in the final game.
EDIT
This happened to me today.

i love the quick strategy settings, attack and defence using the select button and R2 and triangle, makes a huge difference if you are chasing a game or defending a lead
Are they much different from PES 2010 though?
I scored a very cheap goal last night, some sort of goalkeeper glitch, he saved my penalty at the low center of the goal, then waited patiently on his knees while I ran to pick up the ball, which was about one feet from his hands. Later in the same game I made a long high pass to the box, my attacker rushed to head it but missed, however the keeper seemed to expect the header because he reacted wrong and the pass went right by him and into the goal.
read through this thread to get me through the afternoon at work lmao. One thing that struck me is the number of people likening this new PES to a total revolution, it's not lol. We're back to PES5/6 which is good.
Also the other complaint is passes not reaching each other..falling short..this is good. How often do you see perfectly weighted passes in real matches? How many of those do you seen in a row? Some players do have to drop off to collect short passes. Sometimes I want to drop the ball short so my man can drop off his marker.
anyway to echo others, this is the PES I've wanted. The arcadey speed crap can be countered and we're back to playing tactical football now.
