When I had Dead Rising 2 on order with Shopto - It didn't tick over to processed and then posted until sometime after 6pm. I had checked just before 6 and it was still on a pre order. But I still received it the next morning.

I know exactly what you mean - I went from -1 (sometimes -2) on the PS3 demo to 0 now.

Hopefully 0 will be similar on the PC as I feel that has a bit more response to it, without being unrealistically fast.

Soo true and its not just the games that are incredible now, something as basic as the PS3 and 360 UI are taken for granted, I remember when you used to turn your system on and get presented with this

And even worse does anyone remember the Spectrum and the colours and noise it used to make when loading the tapes :LMAO:

Cracking article Jimmy, great read - just off to get a coffee and I'll finish it while the boss is in a meeting ha ha ha.
I remember having a 128k 'plus' spectrum that wouldn't load up about half of all released games despite being the latest model - can you imagine that now (nevermind the load times)!!! I certainly don't miss 'R Type Loading Error' after 20 minutes listening to that data screech.
Just a quick question for anyone as I'm a 360 newbie (always been Playstation in the past), are there any reliable sources for option files - there seems to be a complete lack of them online compared to the PS3?
I'll be wanting to get stuck straight into an ML when the game finally arrives but I want to wait until there's a good OL doing the rounds

That 'R Tape Loading Error' was a nightmare, what was even worse was when it happened after a few minutes. Usually when the 'picture screen' was loading, and for some reason it would screw up, and your graphics on the screen would be flashing in all the wrong colours. Then the dreaded 'R Tape Loading Error'. :(

Edit - PESfan and Pesgaming usually have members that produce decent Xbox360 OF's. ;)
 
Yeah Emlyn Hughes. Ive still got an old mag somehwere with the review in from 1988. The first game were you could actually backheel and ball physics were kind of present. oh you could jump for headers, volley and slide tackle differently depending on your position.

Probably got a lot to be credited for, for the games we have now.

So true,i went from 0 to start with on the we2011 demo as this felt fine and 1+ felt to quick,now ive mastered the game,0 speed feels slow and the players sluggish and unresponsive and the timing seems off when 1+ is now perfect.The game in 1+ is ultra responsive and the players react perfectly to loose balls my button commands and are making runs all over the pitch,i even notice the tactics more and the cleverness of the opposition ai on top player as well as my own teams tactics and there off the ball movement which is more akin to fifa in this speed setting.

Reminds me a little bit of perfect striker 3 on the ps2 in which you had ten game speeds,the game didnt get faster or slower it was more the turn speeds,players reactions and there general movement off the ball.Ive noticed this in the we demo the ball doesnt become quicker on 1+,only the players and there reaction to the ball and play,theres less sensitivity in the power bar to as i have to hit the ball harder and power the bar up more to get more power.For me it just feels how it should in 1+.

Its there to a degree on the xbox360 but much more visible on the ps3 because of the slight drop in graphical fidelity and is a way of masking the drop in texture quality and lack of anti-aliasing.

Thing is,i have a sony bravia 32inch lcd and if your more then five feet away you cant notice the difference between the two consoles,its only when your much closer to the screen.Theres also a bit more frame rate dipping on the ps3 then on the xbox360 on replays and when the match finishes or at half-time but i dont know whether this has been ironed out in the final version.

The lightings better on the ps3 though and of course you have a gamepad thats made for pes which imo is better suited for football games as i find the sticks to stiff on the xbox360 for pes as i like a little bit more play in there movement.

Its horses for courses everyones different its just what you prefer,both have there pros and cons ie ease and flexibility of installing custom soundtracks and option files,although the xbox360 has become much better in this regard.

Yeah i remember :TTTH: Random fact- i once read in an old playstation magazine that a still screen from Metal gear solid would have taken about 5 years to load on screen :SHOCK: so it just goes to show how lightning quick consoles & pc's are nowadays.

When you look at the graphics that the Spectrum produced is easy to see why.

One of the first games I ever played on the Spectrum, I am pretty sure I thought it was amazing.

Edit: Just went and looked up the specs of the Spectrum I had, it had a 3.5mhz processor, 128KB RAM, 32KB ROM and 3 channel audio :))

Hi all
I'm playing a PC version using a logitech cordless rumblepad 2 joypad
The problem is I can't make a short pass because everytime I press the X button too short it does nothing and if I press it a little bit longer it's give me a long pass (more then half).
Is anyone have this oversensitivity problem?
Any solution? and is this just a logitech rumblepad problem or all the controllers?

I don't have any problem in terms of sensitivity tbh.I don't wanna say it's your equipment though.

Anyone know jog bug/Green zone will be fixed through patch ?

It kinda ruin my master league (bought the game mainly for this). After 3-4 matches, I don't feel the need to buy good acceleration winger, long passer in the future of my team.

From my previous post +/- for the bug, it becomes too evident when playing wides, it becomes double minus (--) from me... I want to get Silva to play as my LWF.. now the plan is f up.

I did that with Xavi yesterday! Wish I could tell you how to though. It was totally by accident :LOL: Shall post a video later. Though it didnt really work, it was still a jump off my seat moment. :D

The tackling has not been downgraded, you still need the right timing to win over the ball. What has merely changed is that the players don't stumble so much like in the demo when wrongly tackled, they adjust and keep possession of the ball, therefore no need for the referree to whistle... which is imho better, in the demo the game was interrupted too often for slight tackles that in reality don't always justify a foul to be whistled.

More animations for the goalkeeper, better advantage-understanding for the referree and the jog-bug and greenzone-bug fixes are needed for the game to become perfect.

But as of now I'm very happy with the full game.

Playing on 360 are you using the RB for sprint or have you changed the controls around?

I'm curious because I tried the demo on both the 360 and PS3 and found the 360 demo to run a little smoother, however the RB didn't "feel" right as a sprint button. I haven't decided which system to get it for (probably both eventually!) and this may be a factor.
 
I also did it with Zlatan in the demo. Well I did the flick then ballsed it up.

I'm also pretty sure the skill move Berbatov did a couple of years ago vs West Ham on the byline to set up a tap in for Ronaldo is in. I'm certain I've done it a couple of times with the skill move.

I changed it to RT (I think that's what it's called, the analogue shouldertrigger that gets used in racing games for speeding), I always did it that way in every football-game I played since I got the first xbox. To me it feels natural.

Came home with my copy and decided to play one quick match: my beloved Palermo against Roma...Palermo isn't licensed (i think it's the only unlicensed Italian team)...

I know this is a shit post as a first reaction, but that was my first reaction.

Second disappointment: can't import Option File from PES 2010 (i think) because then i had the French version and now the UK...so i can begin to edit everything...

Well it can only get better now i guess..

I have seen a few nice animations and skills from the Japan players to stop the ball going out of play, they all have relatively low technique so I would imagine players like Berbatov in the game can do moves such as that.
 
Time to give up on shopto - my order still says pre order and it's nearly 6. I doubt they'll be processing and posting them through the evening.

Playing with Japan was really a joy in the demo. Almost beat Spain with them but they tired out in the end haha. Haven't played with them enough in the full game.

Anyway I made a post yesterday complaining about the full game and saying how it was too fast and unresponsive. But now it seems to play great! I really dont know if it was in my mind but I could swear it really felt really fast-paced and now suddenly it seems just nice, even slower than the demo. This is really weird. Not sure if I did some tweak to my PC inadvertently that made it play better, but I really hope it stays that way. Kept stopping and saving replays from a United-Arsenal game that I played yesterday because it just felt so good, the best match I've played with 2011, and possibly with any other game.

Absolutely. All that clever stuff is natural, movement relative and completely technique based. It's a PES trait. There is nothing better than seeing a world class player pull off one of these 'flair' moves when your least expecting it. I've seen some great flicks from the likes of Iniesta and Ibra in the odd occasions I have played with Barcelona, totally off the cuff moments of genius. Individuality at it's best.

You hero,i loved this dart game back in the day and even remember getting a nine dart finish,what with that and daley thompsons decathlon and green beret.Anyone remember segas outrun on the speccy where you had to play the soundtrack on your tape player..

Those were the days!!!!!!!!!!!

Im in the same boat and cant access the order to as there obviously processing,its showing as a hidden pre-order but when i try to view theres nothing there.
