PES 2011 Discussion thread

why nobody put the players' attributes as in the release of previous versions of PES? I miss it! Mainly of players from the Libertadores ... is that Konami has made a coherent work on the attributes of South American players? :SMUG::SMUG:
 
Has anyone tried to import more than 64 MP3's to a playlist to see if it's still restricted ? I've heard that it's unlimited ? But I'll believe it when I see it.
 
Just importing a PES 2010 OF.

Gives me an option to keep the lineups in the OF, keep the faces (takes ages...) and kits.

Just having a look at changing the menu music and it's only letting me import 64 songs...

Dags, I haven't read many of your comments in here, but how are you finding PES? Pro's and Cons over FIFA, having played both for a considerable time?

Probably easier to do a search in this thread for posts by me, but to summarise ... PES is MUCH better ;)

PES is the best football game I've played, FIFA still drags over too many of the flaws like skating players, auto-tackling and small pitch. FIFA does aerial balls better where headers can (and do) get missed so it's more random in that aspect, but PES pretty much is better in other departments I reckon.

In my opinion, it's no contest. PES wins outright, FIFA went stale quickly a few months after getting FIFA 10, and 11 hasn't done anything to win me back.

Cons of PES ... too easy to cross the ball (maybe fixed in a patch as it's probably due to a bug that's been found), shooting doesn't feel as weighty as FIFA, maybe too easy to score from headers in general ... can't think of too much else to be honest.
 
I've loaded PES 2010's line-up and kits into 2011 but none of the championship teams made it :(

Seems like someone will have to start from scratch with the Bundesliga and championship teams...

Exactly the same with mine too.

I'm just going to wait for tomorrow, though. If I get the game, or an e-mail tomorrow then great, if not i'll likely cancel it and pick it up Friday.

I'm like 100% sure we'll get the game on thursday, well I always do from Shopto.

FIFA 11 I got on wednesday (first time this has ever happened from shopto) and tbh I didn't want that game anywhere near how badly I wanted PES, but that's the way the world works lol
 
Haven't noticed that Chimps, but when imported line-ups it worked with teams available in 2010, not the new PES and D2 leagues, probably because they're newly added to the edit mode? Still balls though, just like you said.

I'll try and check the stats in a minute.
 
Bugger, because Liverpool were licenced last year, importing kits doesn't bring through their kit and leaves you with the generic one :(

On the plus side, importing kits also imports team names and badges as well :)

That really isnt bad graphics for the spectrum. I had and still have a rubber key spectrum and that would have been impressive as graphics on it.

I went from that to a C64 after being amazed by sound playing through its loading and witnessing the graphics on the game Rambo.

Then after ages of seeing Atari ST graphics on the back of spectrum and c64 games, got one of them. Then an Amiga 1200.

Like a few people have said Emlyn Hughes was quality game and the first where I think you could play 2 players on one team. After that the Kick Off series and sensible soccer, but I think I prefered kick off.

I don't think games have come that far, not when you compare the graphics and indepth game play of todays consoles with games like Hunchback on the spectrum

Im in galway now with the misses,got a text saying my game has been despatched so il get it 2moro,wont be home til thursday so il let everyone know then what can and cant be done in edit mode,chimps i think il have to make bundesliga and championship from scratch again this year,not good!

Some of you complain to damn much... There are five choices for speed. -2,-1,0,1,2.Choose any of this if it fits you best. No one is holding a gun to your head to play it on default 0 pace.. DAMN
 
Just reading through the WENB review. Very good. I'm assuming the Stadium Editor is for PC, only? No chance of importing created/edited stadiums to the consoles?
