I can confirm this...seems strange to me. Typically Konami.
The squad rosters are also a mess. Hope this will be rectified by DLC.

I played a very long session with the full game yesterday and i really liked it. Scoring is really a big thrill. The 3 last years FIFA was clearly the better game, but somehow it left me a litle indifferent...i was never immersed.

Yesterday i started a Coppa Libertadores with Newell's Old Boys and everytime i scored i felt over the moon...i once again had the feeling that i had in PES4 and PES5 (and to a lesser degree in PES6).

Of course this was the first evening. To really judge the game i should write a a review after New Year...

But the first signs are good. This game is a chess game. It takes a lot of patience to attack and scoring looks like a huge achievement.

Oh and the commentary is not bad.

There also seems more individuality than last year. Last year i had the feeling that there was less difference between the players, which left me indifferent towards the players...in the Newell's team i already have discovered a couple of gems (but at this moment i can't remember their names...).
 
Is it possible to add commentary team names in edit mode? How does that work?
Oh and I can disable auto tacklin in DEMO is this in the full game?
 
Yesterday i've tested my copy (i have the UK version on xbox360). About online: in the guide/booklet is explained that when going online you see a circle which can have three colours: red (bad connection), yellow (medium connection) and green (good connection).
I have tested several matches (also with a friend who also lives in Holland and has a 90/10mb connection same as i have) and there is a continious form of lag. It isn't as bad as in pes6 or 2008, there are no freezes, you can play, but it isn't as smooth as in pes2010 (which i played on the ps3, with no lag against friends with a good connection).

The strange thing is this: when we open a match, the circle of which i spoke above, isn't filled with a colour, it's black/empty, but above the circle there is a square with three stripes, and only the first stripe is continious red flickering. I cannot see the quality of the connection of my friend, but he reported me the same square with one red flickering stripe.. This square cannot be found in the guide/booklet.

Overall: online is not good (yet).
 
BAL frustrated me last night, I was asked to play as a AMF and basically be creative which I did.The fucking coach is still disappointed and it seems like the better I play and the more he gets disappointed.
What am I supposed to do to satisfy that cunt ?

Play as a Striker, score. 7 all day everyday.
That's the only way you can please him.
If you plan to play as a midfielder though, assists are vital, as is regained possession. Try to not lose the ball, start counterattacks, shoot a lot.

I wanted to play as a Regista but due to the low grades I kept getting I gave up and rolled a striker.
I play a lot worse, but I score at least once for game so everyone is happy, I guess Inzaghi has been a good example to follow.
 
I tested my copy PES 2011 and i can say full PS3 ver is much better than demo. The game is much solid. More varied of animations are there and game is more fluid. I played 3 games online and in this moment is not very good. I really like this game. The game have oldschool feeling:BOP: When I will patch this game with kits,stadiums and chants this game will look AMAZING! Definitely PES IS BACK!
 
I played the game yesterday, and I can say for sure that this game has the magic but may be not all the magic. Still, good enough for me. If they keep building on this, I can say we're headed for something great.

Does anybody know if there will be English language in the Winning Eleven version?

It'd be a shame if online wasn't playable, but I won't be upset. PES has always been a hermit's paradise for me.

Lag I can't cope with online. Heck, I experienced MW2 for 11 months, I'm sick of the stuff. I rage.
 
I have no concerns over online, I'm sure it will be fine. It pretty much always is for me anyway. I'm just glad the only lag we may experience on the odd occasions will be slight slowdown rather than that horrible button lag from PES 2010.

This time tomorrow I will be sat at home getting stuck into my MLO. Whoop whoop !! I have tonight all sorted as well to pass the time. Home from work, changed, round to my girlfriends for an Indian, a nice bottle of Red and a movie ( just got Get me to the Greek), some sexy time as she won't see me for two days, then home and bed ready for PES Thursday. Priceless. :)
 
can someone please give their experiences with the online (lag or no lag) matches...?
 
Nice to see the WENB lads have created an option file that will be ready for the PS3 on Thursday night at 7pm.

• Full kits for EPL teams and unlicensed teams in La Liga & Serie A.
• Major unlicensed national teams now have full kits.
• Team emblems added to unlicensed teams
• League and Cup emblems/logos have been added.
• Formation and squad numbers have been updated
• Many transfers have been made
• Player accessories (boots/kit styles) have been updated
• Fake names from unlicensed nations have been corrected.
• Classic Argentina, Brazil and Netherlands' names have been corrected (Haven't had to unlock more)
• 8 stadium added (Craven Cottage, Reebok, Anfield, St James Park, Stamford Bridge, Upton Park, White Hart Lane and Estadio Mestalla), all of which have their own unique advertising-boards

We plan to release this on Thursday night (07/10/10).

As the title says this OF is only compatiable with the UK version of the game.

With Spurs being licensed this year, does that mean that we are restricted on what we can edit with them and Manchester United? I'm assuming we can still edit stats and appearances? Or are those locked with licensed teams?
 
Doh, wasn't expecting the WENB OF this soon, might scrap my current ML then :LOL:

Scutch, I think we can edit the players of Spurs just the same. It's just the kit, badge and team name that we can't change if I remember rightly.

Hmmm not totally sure on that but I think so. I guess they wouldn't have created WHL if it couldn't be used anyway :LOL:

You have everything, a licenced team, White Hart Lane, and I have plenty of Spurs chants if you need them. You really couldnt ask for anymore. :)

I'm waiting for the Championship OF before I start an offline ML. You really need these teams in place for realistic promotion and relegation for the EPL, as well as the F.A. Cup.

I can see me playing some Joga Bonito as well with the Classic Brazilians. :WOOT:

Exactly what I was thinking, but I'd been reading comments from folk saying created stadiums couldn't be assigned to teams. Which would be mental.

Perhaps a bit of a stupid question, but how are you finding PES11 at the moment? You on PC or console?
 
Someone know about difference between wireless connection and weird? It's true that weird is better? Some guy wrote that he changed wirelles connetion to weird and he didn't notice any lags in PES 2011. It can be true?
