The soundtrack to this game is impressive, in the most part. There is a really shit south american song that goes on for 11 minutes, and it feels like forever, you'll know the one I mean, lol.

Hi there

I'm not being patronising but you should put it this way -> "wired"

Wired internet is of course better than Wireless. Wireless can have a LOT of interference, and the speeds fluctuate on Wireless.

I'm loving it Scutch, I'm on PS3 and only have the demo's until tomorrow, but it's everything I could have ever hoped PES would be. Put it this way, if you truly want to 'feel' like your playing with Spurs, then you wont be able to get any closer than this.

That would be due to me :DOH:

When selecting the stadium, you don't press a button to actually select it, you just exit the screen. A very odd way of doing it and it confused me, which isn't hard to be fair :(

Motion Blur is heavily reliant on the graphics chipset / card / GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).

For best performance it should be handled by the hardware, but you can do it with coding, therefore using the CPU (Console's Brain).

It's likely the XBox360's GPU is not as powerful / optimized for motion blur and thus they tried to solve the problem of still having the effect via code.

The texture quality should be identical on both XBox and PS3. I'd be surprised if they used different resolution texture maps. They could do though.

Anti-aliasing is less of an issue with Modern 720p and 1080p displays. If we ever go to 2048p I doubt if you'd bother with it at all, considering how far back the average user / player sits to the TV.

With them having the FA cup - I had hoped they were going to add championship teams too but no luck.

Is there anyone making a championship OF for this? (ps3)

Games are expensive over here in Australia & I'm a tight-arse so I'll wait (although ironically it could get here before local release).

ShopTo took a day EACH to ship them, i.e. there was a delay of a day between both copies, even though I bought both at the same time. :R1

There could be 1,178,392 other people's orders too though :Y1

I guess so, I'm using wireless and get a warning everytime I start online.

On Konami's online site it states that it's not recommended to play online with wireless.

Coming: 8/10/10

Te first installment of this file will be a base file containing the basic stuff for users to get on with while the file is worked on and completed. The file will contain:

•all teams given their actual names.
•team emblems added.
•league logos added.
•league structures edited.
•18 npower championship teams added, they are: Barnsley, bristol city, burnley, cardiff, coventry, crystal palace, derby, hull, ipswich, leeds, leicester, middlesbrough, nottingham forest, portsmouth, q.p.r, reading, sheffield united and watford.

•18 bundesliga teams added, they are: Mainz, borussia dortmund, hoffenheim, hannover, freiburg, hamburg, bayer leverkusen, bayern munich (licensed), st pauli, kaiserslautern, wolfsburg, nurnberg, koln, werder bremen (licensed), monchengladbach, stuttgart, frankfurt and schalke.

These teams will contain just the kits to start off with, full squads will follow in the next update.

•2010 - 2011 kits added, league team kits will be priority depening on how many save slots there are.
 
Neato. I guess it's the old "try and find the best OF to suit your needs", as there's going to be a fair old amount of variations for folk over the coming weeks and months.

I can only comment on the demo, which to me on the ps3 is very jaggy.
Not talking about the animation, just the graphics.

Sounds good but real shame that transfers/new players not done yet :(
 
Have Konami/anyone confirmed how this patch in 2 weeks is going to affect all of these option files? With them doing real transfers and all that... are they likely to screw all of these files up and delete created players?

I'm sure it caused havoc last year but at the same time I can't recall what actually screwed up as I always made sure to grab the OF's after a patch.

Same question. Having watched a load of videos I've actually been looking forward to playing a decent PES game again, but probably won't buy it unless it is possible to get a good option file on it.

Back on track: Do the classic teams still show up when you set up a world cup? I absolutely hate when I set up a World cup and don't pay enough attention and suddenly I'm playing against classic England. Also, has it been made any easier to set up a cup? When I want to set up a specific teams cup (for instance, based on the last World cup) and I want to be the third team in group D or whatever, it's a major headache..

Pes2011 confirmed as shipped and on route for tomorrow pinkies crossed.Its been a relatively pain free 4 week wait because of the generous pes2011 and we2011 demos which have taken most of my free time up the last month,giving me plenty of time to tune into the new game and become very comfortable with it already and ive fallen in love with the japanese national team and bayern munich.

Roll on not having to play ten minute games and having to re-load and adjust the game difficulty,cursor settings and stratergy settings each game.Cant wait to tuck into a 20-30 minute match and some quality training time to tinker and finetune my various stratergies as well as discovering those fringe players in the squad that get overlooked in a limited demo.

Havent enjoyed or played a football game as much as this since ISS/perfect striker on the n64,its literally got me by the balls and im like a kid again the day before christmas dreaming of the enjoyment im going to squeeze out of all the various league and game modes now pes is finally balanced how ive always wanted it to be.

Cant stress how highly i rate this game,for me best footie game ive ever played even off the back of a asian demo and theres certainly a point of no return with pes2011,in which you get so good with it nothing else compares and that includes fifa.

To many people wanting pes2011 to be something they want it to be or fifa rather then enjoying it and appreciating it fo what it is pure GENIUS!.Technologys nothing if your game doesnt have soul and a pulse and pes2011 has this in abundance.........sometimes,games companys produce something so deep,so layered,so multi teared you dont realise what you have until weeks or months down the line and for me pes2011 falls firmly into this catergry.

A 9+ for me even off the back of a asian demo,fifa might still edge pes2011 on the tech front but the walls still feel firmly in place in eas game when in pes2011 i feel as free as a bird,free to express my football.

Its not a saved file and not all saved files are locked anyway. This is separate game data file (edit data) so it will be fine to transfer.
