yup, happened to me tonight as been first game for few days, guy was hacking my players as soon as i passed so i didn't get freekicks or nout, he got some lucky goal and was pissing me off with kicking it up the park everytime he got hold of the ball and trying to attack me with ashley young so i reverted to playing the old 433 at half time and i scored the 83rd then the 90th minute, i've never been so satisfied, especially as the 2nd was just swheet, i'll upload the highlights reel in a bit

speaking of files ,im sending my file to chimps for the gameplay tweaks over the weekend ive no more time to work on it as its annoying the hell out of me,i just want to play the game now

il post up my unedited gameplay file with all kits,players,36 new teams, 3allstar teams and 6 new stadiums here on monday

I have the American version (PS3) of the game, and I feel the online needs a lot of work yet. And the rainbow flicks spoils everything in the game. Konami needs to release a patch to address this problem, since it is one of the most stupid things included in any game released by Konami. It is stupid to see a 100% success when it is used... complete bullshit!
 
I suck at dribbling. Seems like the only effective way I can create space is by using drag-backs, which I love, but I desperately need more in my arsenal. In particular I can't take a man on 1-on-1 to save my life.

Any tips?
 
If you ask me, they need to address (fix) player switching and defending, and it'll be a much more engrossing game.
Defending really feels hit and miss to me. I'm currently on semi-assisted switching, which means it only switches when attacking, not when defending and it's a little bit better. However, no matter which setting you are on (even manual switching) when you tap that button, it's still the com that determines who to switch to (often the wrong player).
 
They should make a manual switching mode in which we can make use of the analog stick to choose the direction of the player we want to choose.

After doing a lot of experimenting, I am ready for the file and will get straight into mass changes as soon as I get it.

I would imagine I will do the premier league, seria A and spanish league first along a few of the other big teams and then release a beta.

Apart from being out on the drink tonight and tomorrow I have the next 3 days off so could get quite a bit done if the file got to me early. (girlfriends tolerance permitting)

The problem is it doesnt seem to cycle through all the defenders. A few times I have had two players chasing an attacker and one defender in front of the attacker and at an angle and the switching has not given me control of the defender in front and just kept cycling between the chasing players
 
Really enjoying the game and the many features it has now, especially to the ML change.

Only downsides I see are I used to like the little press type pictures of new signings, match pictures that showed in the small box as each week progressed, now there is none of that.

Also the major pain in the goalies doing their flapping routine. Too droppy with the ball for my liking, whilst they can pull off some super saves, the amount of times the parry balls is ridiculous.

Same problem bogging me down! its really frustrating. last night i lost out on Fa cup semi final spot courtesy downing freekick in dying seconds! din even get time to set my player on the goal to save it:RANT:
 
the thing about the cpu fk's is that they're not even really spectacular strikes, it's like hitting one of those cheap plastic balls and getting some unusual curve...and yeah conceaded some cheap free kicks with non-specialist.

Theres quite a bit konami need to fix and get right for next years game, they still keep doing this 1-step forward 2-steps back jig....

You cannot be serious, this years PES is like a giant leap for mankind forward and from what I have seen no back pacing from PES2010. Yes it has its problems, thankfully there are very few, if any really major ones but lots of little ones that really do not ruin things too much.

Given the big improvement this year next years game should really be something special.

I have never thought it before, I know I shouldnt tempt fate and say this but how can Konami really go wrong next year?

I think we should start a PES2011 complaints and improvements thread now and after it has some common things listed get someone to direct John Murphys attention its way. Its clear that they need to and have listened to the PES community and it would be good if we could have a voice.

at the end some admins clean it up and send it to murphy e.g.

but it needs a special form, like why its important to change a certain thing and good readability

every post shud be like a authoritative letter

I agree, that problem is serious also, but with the online they have a lot of work to do. Feels like a different game online, and in a bad way... response, switching, rainbow flicks and else... rainbow flicks are a huge problem at the moment IMO

I can't remember the last time I conceded a goal from a free-kick against the AI. I'm guessing it may be more about where some people are fouling the AI.
