PES 2011 Discussion thread

What a fantastic game, I'm getting *that* feeling again I haven't had since PES 5! Was in the final game of the groupstage and needed a draw away to Universidad de Chile to make sure I'd qualify for the knockout stages. Went behind quickly and was struggling for the entire game with most players on blue arrows, passes weren't connecting and I wasn't creating much in front of goal. In the final minutes I send in a hopeful early cross which was headed away by the defender, only for a player called Ralf to hit a sweet, sweet volley with insane dip which ended up in the top corner, sending us into the knockout stages of the Copa. Saved the replay obviously, might upload it if I ever figure out how I can get a proper angle with the new replay system.
 
What is the best Xbox 360 patch at the moment?
Another question: Will it be possible to add chants at the Xbox 360, maybe by an option file?
 
Ouch, that's harsh. I'd been checking mine hourly since Tuesday!! Saw it changed this morning, said goodbye to the family, arranged to sell all my outdoor clothes to pay for a La-z-boy sofa and a Dominos, and then the postie decides to rent my game for a night.

I did indeed add your bad self mate, should be online tomorrow night.

Groovy, go easy on me, cause I've been playing the PC version of late, havent touched the ps3 demo in quite some time now :/ :)
 
I don't understand why the developer claimed the demo was the final code when it clearly ain't, the full game is a massive cut above. I'm causing havoc with Formica just behind the strikers, spraying balls out wide and splitting defences. I love the little extra touches of control the better technical players have, sometimes both bringing it down and playing it on without it touching the ground. Wilshere has 93 for Technique so I might give Arsenal a go next.

Seriously I was frustrated to the point of losing all enthusiasm after a while with the demo, I'm truly surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. Only thing that lets it down is the poor opposition CPU, I'm already dominating them on Top Player compared to needing a couple weeks on old PES games. Won't be a problem if online is lag free, otherwise I can see myself getting bored of it, which is a shame as the gameplay is amazing.
 
If you think its too easy you will think again when you go on Master League, even in my second season I drew 8 and lost 8, sometimes it just doesn't happen on the pitch and the opposition are lethal.
 
I was talking about a player in the Belgian national squad that i'd never heard of.
Just played with against my daughter. She's an England fan and the Englisj national team squad there was a player called "Shedley".
Could it be that certain players aren't licensed...he was the last name in the list (just like the one in the Belgian national squad).
This is very weird that certain players in a squad aren't licensed...anybody noticed something similar?

It is pretty catchy, although that epic mashup mix of the CL theme with the two vocalists is immense until that guy, the MDMA abuser, starts whining over it at the end!

No worries man I won't exactly be a force, I've only played the demo on PS3 this year and nothing else footy wise. Played some EA game but it seemed more like Prancing On Ice?

There's a thread with fake names and real names, search for it, maybe you will find this "Shedley" there.

must be an unfinished name,both belgium and england have always had licenced players even though belgiums kit is not licenced

hopefully konami fix it with the update in 2 weeks

Hmmm looking at the WENB forum, it seems like there's a big problem with their OF and it might be a few days before we see it.
 
I played 3 games online against TheCro/Satnik, fantastic fun. We had a slight bit of slowdown here and there but nothing major, and nothing really to get upset over. It didnt really hinder our games as it was few and far between. In saying that, we never had lag on PES 2010 of any description. I'm keen to try the MLO but it will have to wait until tomorrow now. I have the lads over for a weekly Lads Night and it's offline tournament time. I love the Community feature, it's just superb. Lille are on fire, you better all be scared, very, very scared. :CONFUSE:

I think someone told Jon Murphy the demo was final code... Probably the WE 2011 demo was final code, but PES 2011 wasn't.

the code they put their option file on is not a uk code full game,its a review code theyve got from konami which is different to the final retail uk code,looks like they have to start from scratch again with a uk game could take them up to a week to transfer all the data again
 
Jimmy I think me and Lami are the yardstick for PES online if we can get a lag free game with my connection it would mean an improvement was made. I'm not getting my hopes up though.

Sorry if I sound narcicistic, but I'm sure you get the idea.

You can add 32 friends to the community, and have a league table and stuff I think :)
