There was a rumour that there were some teams in the 'other leagues' section that may be unlicensed Bundesliga teams, but I know nothing more than that. It will really help the option file makers if it this is the case.

actually the best thing that konami have done for us file makers is bring back the old load up data from the previous pro evo,it will now be possible to add all kits, team names, player names, emblems and created players from pes 2010 straight to pes 2011 meaning a full bundesliga or championship optionfile will be ready within days maybe hours of pes 2011 coming out:BOP:

anfield not in pes 2011,wouldnt be surprised if its makable in stadium editor though

Noooooooooo!!

After playing FIFA and their ridiculous Anfield attempt I was looking forward to being able to spend atleast some time at Anfield before moving on. It's easy enough to recreate but still, they already had it!

Also re the optionfile, do you mean with the emblem editor, we no wwon't need to copy 200+ pgn's over to the ps3 hdd? Not a lot of effort I know, but it would be even better if you could just download one single file. Took me 30min last time to copy everything.

FFS, so they still have the ridiculous method of adding/removing/adding then........ It's not like the dvd is maxed out on data is it?

Another question, have they changed the euro/uk version stuff with regards to optionfiles? Or will I need to get the UK version to use the new Championship optionfiles?

I guess. Not sure if they are getting tighter with the licenses then as Ive always played at Anfield even when there was no licence....Oh well. Just another stadium to build in the editor. Or download it from someone else :D

it might automatically copy them over that would make sense where all the teams are in the same position as pes 2010,ie arsenal would be the 1st team in the premier league so their team name and kit would transfer straight across. the only teams there will be a problem with will be the new promoted teams newcastle ,west brom and blackpool as i think they are not on any pes 2010 optionfiles at present

You have? I thought PES 2010 was the first time pes had Anfield, no matter if licensed or not.

The days of 'Red Cauldron' are well gone. I think the whole licensing issue has been tightened up dramatically since the PS2 days, perhaps due in part to EA and their money machine. Konami no longer have any unlicensed stadia in PES, it's either fully licensed or fictional.

But as Goalgerd said, I think Konami will put some recognisable stadium parts in the editor so we can recreate some of the missing ones.

No, Anfield (red cauldron) was in the PES3 demo (England v Argentina). I hammered that demo so I remember it well.

Oh ok. Yeah I remember the name but I didn't really knew it was Anfield :JAY:

I think the reason there isn't a fake Anfield now is because it would have to be "different" from the one they had already, so they didn't actually had the time to do it. I think their decision to have Spurs instead of Liverpool was a late one, also explains why White Hart Lane isn't in too.

Although I wouldn't be suprised, like goalgerd said, if there was a combination in stadium editor where you can re-create Anfield 100%.

Actually the review is from GamesMaster. But yeah, that's pretty much what's happening with them, and OPM.

Would you lot be saying the same if it was PES? That Gamesmaster don't like the game but are being paid to give it 94%?

This is the really tiresome part of this side of the forums. There's this pack mentality where one mention of the other game leads to everyone trolling FIFA in here, getting the hahaha's and the 'they were paid to like FIFA' rubbish, or randomly guessing that everything that was wrong in the beta will probably/definitely be fixed for the final game, or that anything we don't know will end up turning out in the positive rather than being realistic. Ironically the FIFA section of these forums is far more grown up.

It's not a mid 90's game for us - which is absolutely fine for you/us to think - but why are FIFA scores getting posted in here and why are people carrying on about it? Man up FFS. If you're confident that PES is back this year then why do you need to link to and act like dicks about a game that to you doesnt make a blind bit of difference?

Bottom line, it probably is a low to mid 90's game for journalists who just review games rather then get properly passionate and geeky about football games.

I'm just saying, best word to describe GamesMaster review is "silly", no reason for a 94%. And OPM has always been mostly PES, so now PES improved that much and FIFA doesn't look much different from last year, they decided to praise FIFA and say PES is the same "8 directions game".

I don't have the mental skill to argue with you, you take everything too serious. I don't know what are you trying to convince anyone of, I don't really care.

Where is it confirmed that White Hart Lane isn't in the game?

Might be silly if 100% meant completely realistic football game, but it doesn't. Reviewers want fun games so if they find FIFA amazingly fun to play, it will score high. Judging by what "casual" people think about FIFA 10 (they love it), I'm not surprised that FIFA 11 will score really high again.

I'm saying it's silly because the arguments they use to call it "the best football game ever" and give it a 94% score are just... silly. In my opinion anyway. I'm waiting for the full review to call it something else.

I want balance. Not bias. I'm not expecting to convince some people of that, some people are happy with saying games aren't worthy of 94% without having played it (can you imagine how much of a kicking you'd get if you said that about PES in here?). But now that a number of FIFA players are looking at buying both games and spending time in here, I'd just rather people didn't talk BS for the sake of posting.

I'll just chuck this question out there, not sure if anyone will know but, will the scenario mode be back this year?
I mean the mode where, for example, you're down to 10 men and behind by a goal and you have to win to proceed.

Oh and I don't think Romagnoli is too serious, just cerebral.

That is simply not true and not very fair. I honestly couldnt care less what any review scores either game. The only opinion that matters to me is my own. End of story.
